28 finishing touches and finding citizens

I woke up the next day did my usual routine and started to work. I turned the glass machine off last night before I went up.

I actually managed to make enough windows that day before the entire town. the glass kiln was still very useful but I didn't need the production equipment of glass panes anymore so I dismantled it.

once I had dismantled it I started putting all of the windows in around the city. of course I didn't just put glass straight in. I had cut the glass to be able to be put into frames to form actual opening Windows.

for the first thing I did was turn all of my glass panes into windows and then insert them and lock them into place and all of my buildings. I also made doors for every doorway and every building. I also had to make and install all of the handles for every kitchen cabinets for every apartment in the town.

of course I didn't furnish the place or add every single thing that they needed like for instance ceiling fans. I also didn't add pots pans and cutlery.

my citizen you would have to make that for themselves once I gave them the knowledge. all of that took about 8 hours but now I needed to start on the shops.

the shops we're all going to be very large and be able to hold vast amounts of workers. I started on the blacksmith shop which took about 20% of this quadrant.

it was going to have dozens of forges and furnaces for heating and shaping metal. it was all so going to have a special pool for molten zinc to galvanize metal.

I managed to build everything within about an hour. of course a lot of my Coke would be going here. I needed to ventilate the place very well otherwise all of my Smiths would die.

so I added a large ventilation system with lots of fans that all met up as one on the roof and was then sent to link up with the rest of the exhaust into the giant pipe leading to the surface.

another 20% of the quadrant would be used by a pottery shop. I have an idea about the clay I should be able to use magic to make it. after all Clay is just made over time underneath bodies of water using decay.

I decided to experiment and actually manage to make a handful of clay in my hand within 5 minutes. now that I know my ideas feasible I immediately outfitted the shop.

of course I need to make a magic machine in order to make clay. with the insights from using Creation in the production area I should be able to make it.

after about 2 hours I managed to make the machine. all it needs to work is dirt water and plant material. of course it uses quite a bit of magic to run but I managed to make a very powerful core like with the refineries so I can amass the mana on its own.

once my citizens start farming they'll be able to take all the leftover plant materials and just shove them into the clay maker. with that out of the way I started making kilns and pottery stations.

each pottery station had a pottery wheel as well as shaping tools that I made from steel. I also had to ventilate the pottery shop because the kiln would also run on coke and have a missions. so I just made another ventilation system.

I made the next two shops they were the glass making shop, and the leather working shop. the last 20% of the shop quadrant was going to be my government building.

it would be where the citizens went to get their food and information. it would be where all the government affairs were decided and were all of my town records would be.

now that the shops out of the way I need to finally work on getting citizens. of course I call them citizens but they're going to know better than slaves. of course I have a much better life and they would have outside but it's still not exactly being a citizen.

because I plan on enslaving the races that the sentient people of this world despise. mainly goblins and orcs or whatever else crosses path with me that counts as a monster species.

there should be a goblin settlement near me. nightshade and Elizabeth have found tracks of them when they're out hunting. but that'll have to wait till tomorrow with everything done it's already late into the night and nearly past midnight.

I went upstairs to find everybody already sleeping and the lights out. no one woke up though because my staircase is silent when it opens and closes. I immediately laid in my bed and passed out.

I woke up the next day did my morning routine and went out to try to find some goblins. the goblins in this world are the same as the stories from my world with a few exceptions.

the goblins of this world actually can produce females however due to the goblins nature they're usually end up constantly giving birth till they die.

so what's a female goblin is able to give birth usually dies within a few years if not sooner due to the males not having enough fun.

the goblins of this world also kidnap females of other species because they can impregnate them to produce more goblins.

in this world just like in my own male goblins are incredibly ugly but this is where the exception is. as male goblins get stronger and evolve they can become somewhat better looking.

however females are born exceptionally beautiful if they are taken away from the goblin settlements. most goblin women end up looking terrible because of the treatment of the male goblins.

I had set off to the place where Elizabeth had last caught their scent and seen some tracks. I managed to get there within 10 minutes of leaving the cave. of course it was rather far away but with mana enhancement I managed to get there quickly.

I didn't intend to slow down for the next bit of the journey so I use mana enhancement and kept following the tracks.

after about 20 minutes of following the tracks I managed to see the settlement. of course if I hadn't used man enhancement I probably would have took all day to find it.

the tracks were incredibly winding and the intersecting with other goblin tracks but with mana enhancement I managed to increase my senses to be able to perceive where I should go.

I decided to watch the settlement from afar for half a day to see what I could find out. I watched the entire time but it was incredibly hard to sit through it.

goblins truly are cruel monsters they deserve nothing more than to become my work in the slaves. at least the males anyway the female seem to live a life worse than death.
