Background:

A small clan located outside the borders of Konoha skilled in crafts usually with metals (jewelry, WEAPONS, tools), traded with other towns and villages. Their small village, which included civilians, has their own shinobi force but because it was wartime their forces were split between fighting with Konoha, securing their own borders, and delivering weapons. There was a sense of security due to the location of the village being atop an ancient volcano surrounded by mountains.

Rei was known to have special dexterity and ingenuity that rivaled that of the clan elders.

Thing was, he didn't really like making dangerous stuff even if he excelled at designing them.

Really good at design and creative, a cheerful child before the incident.
