The dust was swept into his Internal Space of course. Sucked into the Flame Vortex Core to help. His cultivation only at the 5th Heavenly Layer caused a few to shake in fear. It was to devastating to witness.

Zhao Yan had just fried a random cultivator. Showing his 5th Heavenly Realm cultivation. The crowd was impressed with the young Flame Martial Artist.

"Already there with such a presence, and under the age of 20." A cultivator said a little shamefully. He himself was 27 and just reached the 5th Heavenly Layer. "He's definitely the most outstanding genius of our Blue Carp town."

"This.. is such a drag. You are all scared. No need to back away from me like this." His hand raised as Star energy went out freezing those in the ring. Only thing left were their heads exposed. As his fingers closed up a little, the frozen people felt the ice tightening. "These competitions... are now outlawed in Blue Carp Town!"

"What!?" The nobles were incensed.

"I have important matters to attend to, this needs to be solved now." He smiled as his Frost Domain hit the crowd and target everyone in the vicinity. Of course, it couldn't hurt them easily as most were prepared. "I said this will never be allowed again. Lin Yin will be the last female to be used as a bargaining chip in clan relations."

He turned towards Lin Yin making direct eye contact. Giving her a small smile. She nodded agreeing with and defintely agreed with it.

"You are the strongest and have won the competition by far." Lin Yin voiced. Standing up, she pushed her cultivation out voiced her intentions. "S the one in charge of her own fate, I declare this competition over. I will marry Patriarch Ye XInghe and the Lin clan will be absorbed under them!"

"What's happening here?" A cultivator had no idea what was going on. He looked around for an answer. The faces of the crowd not helping his lack of information. "Anyone mind telling me?"

"What madness is this!?" Lin Zhanyun voiced. They were not to become vassals or under anyone less than them. The standing of the Azure Feather Family was rising but it was not there yet. "You.."

*Crkk!* Ye Xinghe froze him in place. Lin Yin instructed a few guards to take him away. He would not be killed mind you but it did look bad if he kept causing a scene.

She was the future leader of the clan and by the looks of it, had the backing of Ye Xinghe. Others in the noble seats understood and openly supported the change in leadership.

He Dongming of the Molan Family, Ye Yanfan of the Black Eagle Family, and Lei Shuo speaking on behalf of the Thunder Family. After speaking with Old Xu, the man understood that the Dark moon Family would change to Liang Yu's and the future with the Families underneath all changing as well.

"Blue Carp Town will flourish under such leadership." Old Xu voiced. "The Heavenly Star Academy is planning to put its full support on helping it to develop in the future."

That little bit prevents any vocal protests. But a few had in their minds to inform the Royal Family and a few Great Houses to get involved.

They excused themselves seeing the North Guard Lord's Mansion people there behind Xia Yuning. They didn't act or anything but that didn't mean anything as she just spoke out against those who tried to cause an issue before.

"Raaahhh!" Zhao Yan broke through the ice do to fury. Having been underestimated and embarrassed, he charged at Ye Xinghe. "I will make you pay!

*Woosh!* Ye Xinghe sent another wave of star energy forward.

*Fwoosh!* Zhao Yan launched a concentrated fireball. Upon impact, the flames actually froze. This baffled many. With a wave of qi, it broke apart and circled around dangerously.

"Pathetic." Ye Xinghe said. He clenched his fists distorting the air and causing the ice shards to cut his opponent's flesh in several places. "Not even worth the hassle really. I thought you would provide me with more... of a challenge. I gave you such ample motivation."

Zhao Yan created a Crimson Flame Shield as he moved. Using his qi wildly getting himself free.

"Ample motivation..." Zhao Yang looked in fury. His veins protruding all over. "..you killed my father!" He sent out two giant fireballs powered up with most of his qi. "You filthy bastard!"

*Booom! Boom!* A dual explosion pushed heat all over. Counteracted by the Frost Air Body, it was nothing.

"Your father killed so many and abused his power." Xinghe stalked out of the steam smiling. His white hair flowing behind a little from the qi he took in. "I am just helping clean up my town. But do not worry, I will kill many more like him."

Looking into the eyes of sure death, Zhao Yan broke. His dignity, the clan, the marriage, none of it mattered as he fled. The match was to the death, but it looked like he forgot that.

*Crrkk!* Ice formed out of Star energy floating around. With a flick of the wrist, he tossed several ice shards out. Stabbing Zhao Yan in the back creating a small pattern of a Y.

*Thud!* The body made an ugly sound against the ground. The shards were still there protruding from his back. He was alive but in intense pain. He still had a use after all.

The crowd had mixed feelings. A 5th Heavenly Layer doing something like this was unheard of. Especially a Star Martial Artist against a Flame Martial Artist at the 7th Heavenly Layer. Even with using a shortcut.

"The Zhao Family of yours..." Xinghe did the beckon motion calling the Ice Shards back. Lifting the body back towards him. Focusing the Heart Method directly on his opponent, he corroded his mind even further with a simple touch. "..they belong to who now?"

Pulling back the Frost Domain, the crowd felt relieved. hey were not hurt but it still felt unnerving.

"It is for the good of Blue Carp's Town Future mind you." The words sounding like the kiss of a devil to terrifed teen's ears.

"I.. kuff... understand!" Zhao Yang's eyes signs of life dwindle before glowing purple and returning to normal. "..we serve the Azure Feather Family.. don't.. kill me.." Still fighting back against the invasion of his soul, it would take a while to break him.

"Of course, just remember who you yield to." Ye Xinghe released him. 'My Flame Vortex Core qi has settled nicely inside him. I may not be able to control him outright but I can kill him whenever I need to for a few months.'

"Damn you.." Zhao Yan became furious. He built the qi up ready to go all out once he was dropped. "I will.." He clamped up the moment he looked at the glowing eyes of Xinghe. "..I will dismiss myself now Patriarch!"

Cowed and humiliated, the young man took of immediately. Not even catching that his cultivation was not injured from the use of the medicine to forcefully promote.

"Interesting.. I wonder if you are better than the other Dragon Martial Artists I have killed?" Ye Xinghe rolled his neck. "Lin Yin my friend, you do not mind if I break him a little do you?"

"Ummm, it is ok." Lin Yin nodded. Her smile was very enchanting. "Just do not kill him or cripple him. We do owe them a little. I think sparing him alone is enough." She didn't mind reaching a little more with the agreement between the two. "This is enough to settle accounts, yes?" She looked to her Lei Hong who stared in the arena at his uncle with a smile. "I am sure this will settle debts, right?"

"If he can beat him, then sure." Lei Hong already thought of ways to handle the situation. But it all depended on the results of the fight. "I can not beat Ye Xinghe as I am, so I guess I do not have the right to have you as my wife."
