Day 86-147 Lin Family Tourney Part 3 A retreat!

Lei Shuo was pretty good. Able to push Xinghe a little. But considering he used mostly his body to fight, it made people nervous know overall techniques were used. Most chalk it up to Star martial artists being utility instead of actual fighters.

"I have other ways to pin you down!" Lei Shuo forced the lightning to become solid. Hands made of lightning grabbed hold and stiffen against the frost pieces along the skin. Applying enough heat to melt them, it causes a bit of a problem. "Gotcha now!"

Coiling snakes and hands from his lightning started to break forcefully from the qi clashing.

Ye Xinghe sent a jab straight to his jaw after breaking the grab some. It was dodged with ease by his opponent. Misjudging the attack entirely as the air near Lei Shuo's head heated up then froze instantly.

*Boom!* A small explosion of force and ice racked against Lei Shuo's eardrum. Disoriented briefly, the man with on the defensive just in time blocking a ice shard. Before he could recover fully, a blow was delivered to his ribcage.

"Ugh!" Lei Shuo took a few heavy steps back. Clutching his side unbelieving the pain he was under. Frostbite already setting in, the skin turning a dark black as it rotted next. "A Star Martial Artist... should not be this physically strong!"

The blood vessels were frozen and deteriorated at a rapid pace. Xinghe having robbed him of the life force via the Star Energy and the use of the Frost.

The 9th Heavenly Layer Martial Artist was the first to feel an old technique that belong to Star Martial Artist. Ones who were willing to dive deep into healing and using counter effects withing that came naturally.

"Pft!" Ye Xinghe pursued his opponent jumping forward and grabbing the back of his head. 'Well, I shouldn't kill this guy despite learning this new technique on the fly for study!' Doing a clutch and his opponents' poor stance, he flipped him over onto the arena floor. Not out of the ring but onto his back. "Tch!"

Pursuing his opponent, he made sure to keep hold of the spread of decay in his opponent. Preventing it from advancing further by pulling back the Star Energy and collapsing the lingering Frost Domain.

"Don't run from me!" Xinghe waved his hand creating several Stalagmites of Frost, the field was no longer easily traversed.

*Bzzt!* Lei Shuo escaped by circulating his qi as he pushed his dragon arts. A barrier of lighting blocked several from stabbing into him. Ramming into them instead of dodging, he showed he was not some rookie fighter that couldn't think on his feet.

"I am not that easy!" Lei Shuo had arcs of lightning moving back and forth through his horns. The entire arena became electrified as the qi was wrestled from Xinghe's control for the first time. The clouds above became charged as the man grasped the use of using a Domain. A small Chinese dragon moving between the clouds briefly. "I must think you for this!"

Lei Shuo started to shake as lightning crackled around him. Boosting his speed and explosive power as he moved to fire concentrated balls of lightning from his horns. The distance between the two was covered in seconds, but not fast enough that it prevented a response from Xinghe.

"Haaaa." Xinghe shifted in place and fighting stance. His arms dropped to the side as he exhaled. All across his skin, lines of qi became visible. He looked more like a monster than a human with its bright intensity. "My Technique has made it to the next layer!"

With the exhale, the very air froze. Connected with lines of frost qi, the balls of lightning, Lei Shuo, the microbes in the air, flowing qi on the edges of the arena, and even some of the weaker members in the audience were stuck in place.

"I can't control myself... I might kill you accidentally on purpose!" The Heart Method cried out as he exploded in Violent Qi. Every bit of despair and aggression was robbed for over a mile of space. "I have to take you out to go and kill some fools outside my town! I just can't resist it anymore!"

Feet planted firmly, Xinghe exploded out with wild unrestrained blows. The full might of his physical body destroying the nearby area. The force of his blows exploding the tile next to him with ease.

*Bam!* Palm met fist in a deadlock. Lei Hong's fist charged in qi came around. He jumped in the arena to save his uncle. He was not strong enough of course. Two blows destroyed his armor and broke several bones.

"Lei Hong! Crying out, Lei Shuo broke free. Shielding his nephew left him completely open to the violent assault from the side. 's long as he survives, it is worth it!' The crowd watched in horror as Xinghe peeled away quickly at 9th Heavenly Realm Cultivator!

The muscles in Ye Xinghe's body were finally getting pushed as needed. The constant holding back from killing because of plans were maddening. Suppression is not something he wanted at all!

The clouds in the sky dissipate as Xinghe took a breath absorbing all teh qi. His need for power pushed him to the next Layer. The rich qi shaking the area from his body.

"6th Heavenly Layer!" Several in the crowd muttered.

Feeling a knot in their Dantians breaking free, some actually promoted along with him. Those that were connected to him anyway felt the rush of Rich Core Qi flood their bodies. It was extremely rare that Star Martial Artist could help others break through.

So many at once were even harder considering the consider Xinghe to young and not capable of the technique himself. Let alone how he acquired it.

Had nothing to do with him being a Star Martial Artist, it was the influence of his Vortex Core.

"He is going to kill everyone if we are not careful!" Old Xu voiced. Before he acted, a forceful suppression grabbed hold of Xinghe from a distance. Purple QI wrapped around him pushing him to gain hold back. It was Liang Yu using Astral Sense to get through to him. "Haa, what a dangerous young man."

*Bam!* A force left the arena on impact. Xinghe's palm shot out knocking them both out of the arena as gently as possible. A dissatisfied look on his face.

The crowd said nothing. A few of the families enjoying the fight. Seeing the Thunder Family knocked down a few pegs was more than satisfactory. Disrupting the Lin clans' plans more were a bonus to.

Then those who broke through jumping for joy overriding a lot of the disappointment of others. Several were about to voice an opinion about not receiving a benefit, but the mix in the crowd of families not "known" to be affiliated to Azure Feather Family kept them quiet.

Ye Xinghe was disappointed that no fighting really took place. Arriving on scene, he almost picked a fight with Liang Yu just to vent! He didn't of course, the other was still injured and it was basically harming oneself if he did.

The Eternal Heaven Family pulled away from the town shouting it wasn't over and they would return with more people to search. Beaten and cowed by those who went with Liang Yu to send them off.

Considering his 6th Heavenly Layer Cultivation was completely unstable and wild currently, it needed to be restrained. The one joy was that several nobles were gonna act soon. To be able to fight against the Eternal Heaven Family forces had him ecstatic!

Returning to the Azure Feather Family, the news was put to the side as the North Guardian Lord's Mansion guards were there along with Xia Yuning, An Xueyun, and the rest.

Several carts were behind them that wagoned a good bit down the street. Checks were done by the guards before they were allowed in of course.

No sense in allowing a Trojan Horse type scenario.

"What's all this?" Ye Xinghe arched a brow looking it all over.

"It is the dowry." A member of the North Guard spoke out. Impressed from the fighting earlier and already liking what he saw from Ye Xinghe and Liang Yu. Not to mention those who were with them.

"Eh, who is getting married?" Liang Yu arched a brow looking towards Xinghe. Xinghe just shrugged as it was defintely not him.

"The North Lord hopes you take good care of his daughter." Shen Sheng said to Liang Yu.

It was quiet for a while before laughter could be heard.

"Buahaha! That is such a good thing for you!" Xinghe slapped the other on the back. The force barely contained as he was pushed forward some. "What a good catch! I am so happy for you!"

Surprisingly, a good laugh helped his cultivation settle down more.

The Liger behind Liang Yu thought the situation over trying to figure out what was going on. It sat on its rear end stomped. Linlin and Zhao Ning explaining the situation to the Demon Beast further.

"Ummm.. what!?" Liang Yu blinked a few moments then looked at Xia Yuning and then Xinghe to make sure he heard right. He was very aware the Prime Soul didn't organize this. So there must be a catch. "Who decided this?"

"I did." Liang Yan came over smiling. "After hearing how you made plans to help them both and the willingness to go against the family, how could I not help you marry?"

"Them both?" Liang Yu's eyes went wide as An Xueyun looked away embarrassed. "These kind of things are not a good old man! We just had a problem with these marriage-type situations and stuff!"

Lin Yin smiled looking at the situation unfold. It was just odd seeing a male against the type of thing even more so with the looks of An Xueyun and Xia Yuning. Plus they were from the Noble Families!

"I got a big brother now!" An Xueyan said happily. She ran over smiling. The trip escaping the Eternal Heaven Family was spent telling of the new life she would have.

"Well now, if I don't see a bigger reason to become even stronger than this, I don't know what else." Xinghe had his arm around Liang Yu who looked at him. "A family of your own, with people you care about, defintely a reason to take over the Dark Moon Family now instead of later."

Just an excuse for others to hear. But also somewhat his views on the matter.

"The Eternal Heaven Family as well.. this is a lot." Liang Yu circled Astral Sense to get control of his emotions. "I am willing to be betrothed but actual marriage will have to wait until they are of proper age."

"That is perfectly fine but lady Xia Yuning is of age now." Shen Sheng added in. Striking while the iron was hot and with Liang Yu not overly opposed to the situation, it was funny to see.

"My heart is not ready." Liang Yu was actually really flustered. The negative feelings regarding the two were not really with him. "We just need to take it easy.."

Liang Jian and Linlin were beside themselves in joy. Not having seen him like this in a very long time by their standards.

"Pftt!" Xinghe held his belly as he felt he would burst at the seams. "Engagement, for now, let them get to know each other better before the nuptials. If Xia Yuning and An Xueyun change their minds, they can call it off. No harm done."

"Does he speak for you?" A North Guard questioned.

"He does." Liang Yu could feel a sweetness in his heart at the idea of marrying either one. It was odd but helped develop a type of happiness within. "My Dark Moon Family are allied with the Azure Feather Family."

"Then it is settled." Liang Yin was beside himself happy.

"Long as they understand I am not marrying into their family, I don't care really." Liang Yu voiced, finally in control of his emotions. "The jilted fiance's are probably going to mobilize to come this way. We should prepare further."

"Then show them the beginning stages of the Dual Cultivation method we know." Xinghe gestured to the house. "Have Liang Jian and Linlin help as well. No sense in wasting time in increasing their strength and your own."

A very angry Liger looked over them upset. It did not want to be left out of anything that could increase strength. PLus finding them to be possible mated for Liang Yu its master, they need to be much stronger.

The Liger could kill them with a single swipe.

"Plus the fruit..." Liang Yu nodded as he instructed them to follow and to gather some tubs of water. "You are about to get wet and will experience some discomfort in your pores, put on clothes you don't care about."

"Right." The two answered together.

"Now we only need you to get you, married son." Han Ye said. "Lin Yin and your marriage may be on paper only but no sense in not embracing it fully."

"Not happening." Xinghe raised his palms to the sky in a shrug. "Some people are not meant to marry. I have a very dim outlook on life and I do not plan on shackling someone to witness that." He walked off not carrying for the looks they gave. "It is against the law to force people to marry, even you are not protected from that law. Do not make me kill you."

Zhao Ning and Ying Lu gave each other looks. Mo Yu behind them thinking that Xinghe might be collecting Star Martial Artist and that Lin Yin was just to take control more of Blue Carp Town without killing people.

She was somewhat right.

Ying Lu told them while traveling that Xinghe requested they find a way to get a hold of Gu Yunlan and Gu Yunyan. Plus any other strong Star Martial Artists.

As they gathered around talking over today's events, the North Lord's Mansion people were restless. They felt something was wrong in the dynamics between Ye Xinghe and Liang Yu.
