Randy felt his new body.
It was as if he had opened a third eye; he could sense all the flow and life forms around him.
As for his physical strength and life force, Randy felt that in this world, he should be able to go through it with ease.
Moreover, this body also possessed extreme wood and water attributes, aligning perfectly with the original water and lightning elements he had.
With a thought, Randy's body immediately transformed into a pool of water, disappearing into the sea.
The next second, he reemerged on the surface.
"Cool."
Randy extended his hand and pointed at the sea surface.
"Whoosh!"
Wooden spikes shot out from beneath the water, easily piercing a passing fish.
With another thought, lightning flashed around him, with dense lightning serpents covering a large portion of the surrounding sea.
With the enhanced life force, even the lightning attribute had become stronger.
Previously, Randy could only produce palm lightning, and that required significant accumulation of time.
"This is more like it. Now I can truly call myself a hunter."
Randy smiled, but the expression didn't last long before he was disturbed.
He sensed that someone in the distance seemed to be watching him.
Turning his head, Randy saw a middle-aged man sitting on a rock, looking at him with curiosity.
The man even greeted him.
"Hey, are you alright? Do you need me to come down and save you?"
Randy's expression was not very friendly as he slowly moved toward the man. Surely, this guy had seen what just happened? He had chosen such a remote location, yet someone was here.
At the same time, he scanned the surrounding sea and shore and found no other witnesses nearby.
As he approached the middle-aged man, Randy noticed his folding chair, fishing rod, and small yacht parked behind the rock.
The man continued to inquire with concern, "How are you? Why are you still a child?"
Randy, having restored his physique to its peak, no longer looked gloomy and instead exuded a natural charm due to his vigorous life force and plant-like traits.
"I'm fine, just swimming. How did you get here?"
Randy felt he wasn't steady enough, having not realized someone was in the middle of the sea.
"I came here to fish. A friend told me there are a lot of fish here; you can catch them with a simple cast."
The man smiled.
Hearing that he was referred by a friend, Randy guessed it was David. The man's attire and the watch on his wrist indicated he was also wealthy.
"You're fishing here? It's quite dangerous. There's no one around."
"Exactly because there's no one around that I came. I came last night and specially ventured to the middle of the sea. The harvest... is quite good. But I mostly catch a fish and release it, so I haven't put any in the tank."
He stretched lazily, awkwardly explaining.
Randy didn't believe his story; there were no fish around here. In a radius of several hundred meters, any fish or shrimp would have already been eaten.
Randy looked at his rod and then pointed, "Look, you've got a bite. Your rod is moving."
At the same time, he manipulated the water flow underwater to continuously pull on the hook.
The man was startled, excitedly running to the rod and quickly grabbing it.
"Such strength, it's a big fish, a really big fish!"
His face turned extremely excited as he pulled back continuously.
"Make sure not to let go."
"Don't worry, this is my only hope. I definitely won't let go…"
But before he could finish his sentence, the force in the water suddenly increased, pulling him into the sea in an instant. Yet, he still refused to let go.
"Splash!"
He wiped the water off his face, looking shocked, "Did I catch a shark?"
"Yes."
Randy chuckled, then pointed again, causing the water around the man to churn and drag him underwater.
No matter how he struggled underwater, the calm sea surface remained like glass, blocking him from surfacing.
After a long time, he fell silent, still clutching the fishing rod.
"Next time you fish, don't come to such a deserted place."
Randy approached him, made a small cut on his face, and then covered it.
Hmm, not bad; the ability to absorb others' life force was still there.
This could keep the body youthful, but the soul aspect still needed constant cultivation and enhancement.
Although Randy's soul was already quite strong, there was still a distance to becoming a deity, requiring many followers' help.
As for this corpse, Randy chose not to drain it completely but left it floating as an accidental death, not implicating anyone else.
He then returned to the shore, put on his clothes neatly, and headed back home.
However, he didn't stay long; after changing into more suitable clothes, he went out again.
"Pennywise, Pennywise, always shouting to make others float. Today, I'll make you fly!"
This damned clown, with a slight increase in ability, flaunted it so arrogantly. His arrogance was indeed impressive.
Randy had no other intention but to have a serious talk with him.
"Before he dies, I want him to understand who's in charge of this town now."
He chose not to take a car because it was too slow.
Once he entered the forest, Randy moved like a cheetah, quickly reaching the sewer entrance under the stone bridge, arriving at one of Pennywise's lairs.
This place had already been sealed off by the police due to an investigation.
However, Randy didn't care about that, sneering as he entered the dark tunnel.
He didn't use the red balloons to summon him; Pennywise, if he wasn't stupid, would definitely not show up.
Though it was pitch dark, the darkness couldn't block his perception. Following the correct path, he quickly found some strange traces.
There was a corpse gnawed down to just bones, estimated to be no more than a few days old.
Could it be more?
It's even better as nourishment for himself.
But then Randy was puzzled.
Pennywise feeds on fear and souls, and should not be interested in flesh. The children's corpses were floating in his lair.
So, there must be something else in the sewers?
Randy thought about the guardians that appeared with Pennywise the previous night.
This corpse could very well be the work of one of those monsters.
After moving forward a few more steps, Randy arrived in a spacious area, where three paths appeared ahead, each marked with a sign:
"Path to Safety," "Path to Danger," and "Pennywise's Home."
Randy expanded his perception, but sadly, the three paths twisted and turned, and there were no useful clues.
"So, it's just guesswork?"
The path to safety is definitely not safe. The path to danger might be Pennywise's home, and Pennywise's home might lead to a cesspool.
In the end, Randy chose the middle path, the one leading to danger.
He wanted to see what this so-called danger was, and what could truly be considered dangerous.
