Ch 16: Exploration Of the Surrounding

The two team of monsters has a total of 1000 unit of troops.When the two team of monsters, start to look around the dungeon.

It has a very games like feeling to it. The friendly monster indicate with blue dot, others indicate with red dots.

Ron dividend the team with small squad of 100 monster to go together. It was to make it easier for them to scout out the place.About 100 meters from the dungeon a slime squat finally found other creatures.

When Ron turned on the video model where he could see what the monster could. He identify the creature as a wolf.

They looked like Giant wolf, but he can't be certain as they have a very eerie appearance to it.

For this kind of situation he already buy a Appraisal skill from the shop.

It was a super Rank skill that can't be upgrade like all the other skill that he bought that was not of a higher Rank already.

It it was a beginner rank skill then he can add point to upgrade like his other skill. It he brought a higher Rank skill then he has to use DP to buy the next Rank also.

Back to the scene, when he spots the wolf he quickly use appraisal on it to see it's level.

Although they seems to be a bit higher than slime in level. But the slime make it do with there quantity. The wolf pack has about 10 to 12 Wolf. On the other side slime has a total of 100 slimes.

There was also the problem of those wolf didn't seems to have any magic type attack, most of them only have physical damage attack.

This also help slime to give a chance to win. The reason why his dungeon monster can level up so fast, was he discovered that, although his talent fully help any monster to get experience faster. But he can make it, as to give a certain group of monster a boost of 10 time the experience gain for a day or two.

In this way he was able to mess product a bunch of high level dungeon monster, to go around increase his dungeon influence.This method was slower than his contact pets, but this was already very good, as you can tell by the looks of his army. Even the lowly slime was able to fight against a high level wolf.

With the command of Ron, the battle broke through. The half the slime start with firing there respected skill toward the wolf. Some get hit other was able to dodge in time. Then the next group start the attack, this way they have a chance to always make the wolf have a harder time.

Ron was giving them the command to do this. This way a group will get hit, the next group will start attacking.

When the wolfs were close, and begin there assault on the slime. They discovered that there attack do minimal damage. But whe they get hit by the slime there health decrease.

After some battle with the slime those wolf discover this. So they were preparing to retreat, as they don't want to fight this kind of losing battle.

Wolf have a very high intelligence, so finding that they were losing they are going to retreat.

Ron was already predicted this could be happen, so he already asked other squads that was close by. To come and surround the wolf, to not let them get way.

With more and more slime, as well some rats come. The Savage Wolf pack couldn't take there combine assault. With the buff of slime King. The battle was won easily.

With this Ron was able to get more DP form the carcases. Even with the wolf fighting the slime in a desperate struggle there was no casualties in the squad.

Ron then order them to move forward again. He already has the required numbers of monster that, he was going to have in those floors. So the monsters group that he was sending are those that he didn't need.

Usually those exceed monsters was killed by his team of pets or by the other monsters on that floor. Now he has a new uses for the exceeded monsters. He was simply let the wander around killing outside monsters.

This way not only he has a solution for his exceeded monsters, but also can get extra DP from local killed monster. The local monsters give full amount of DP, when recycle by the dungeon.

With the monsters in 1st floor leading the charge, the next 2 floors also begin to get out of the dungeon.

With each hours pass by, Ron has more and more area to look around for, as his influence begin to grow with each occupied area.

The losses was also begun to appear, there was more and more harder and higher level of monsters appear, more distance the dungeon monsters cover.

Ron was only able to get a view of 2 km from the dungeon. Because the next round of monsters begin to have abnormal amount of level. He was also spotted some Tier 1 monsters after 1.5 Km.

Ron make sure to have his monsters avoid those places once he discovered them with a few team died.

Ron was able to able to kill any monster that was lower then Tier 1. With swarming strategy he was able to kill a level 99 Red Eyed Lizard. Its status was like this.

Ron found that the monsters in the area all has a common Frenzy Attack skill. It made the user into a frenzy attack, it was a very powerful move. Although after using user lost all there concessions and attack anything in sight.

It was like a final stand of the monster. It active when health drop to 20% of there total. This move reduce 50% from all the stats and give the amount to the selected stats, it also reduce 90% of the cooldown of every skills.

So when the this Lizard trigger this status, it has made its strength have the extra points. With the extra points it was Abel to have a strength stats over 1000, then used its sill Slash Attack that was able to kill many of Rons slime.

This is to show that even if a skill give a immunity, there was a chance to overload that skill with sheer power alone. In that fight Ron lost about 100 or so monsters in total.

Ron thought that it was well worth it, the amount of DP that he got was already the highest he ever seen. He gets a whopping 150,000 DP, that was without his talent bonus. With the extra 1000 time the amount, he was able to get 150 Million DP.

With this Ron will abel to buy many of the spawner that he was unable to buy previously.

This was without calculating other monsters and his own monsters that died.

After defeating this Lizard, Ron become arrogant and thought that he was able to kill a Tier 1 monster now, that he was able to kill a monster twice the level of his average dungeon monsters.

After battling the whole day, some of the monster able to level up thanks to Rons blessing. He have ordered his monsters to get toward a curtain distance, where he knows a Tier 1 monster was.

Although he became overly confident in his swarm tactic. He still send most of the monsters that was outside toward the distance. The monster was a Savage Wolf but it was very different from the one before. With a quick appraisal he was able to get there details. It was his first time seeing an actual Tier 1 monster.

The first thing is the health and Mana increase to 15 time, previously it was 10 time. Then that it was now a metal elemental wolf of Rare Rank monster, with numerous amount of magic skills.

There were 4 other normal wolf was with it. They are around 60~90 level. When the battle was started, Ron was fully focus on the battle to command his monsters.

The total amount of monster he send was around 600, it was a huge amount. The battle was intense and both side has numerous casualty, with a heard battle his monsters able to win. That's he would have said, if the real battle wasn't a one sided massacre.

The wolf king kill his monsters effortlessly. With each strick it was able to kill a monster. After a fight, Ron only able to kill two of the king's lowest minions.

After the fight Ron, become humble again, and don't have any other thoughts of attacking the Tier 1 monster. Although he feels like able to kill it if he send his Golem squad out. There was no need for that, as Golems was the only monster that didn't drop him any DP after death only give some material. So in the afternoon, after that long fight, Ron begin to short out his loots that he was able to get.

"Only after the dungeon opened, can I finally have my overpowered talent to a good use. With this amount of DP, I should abel to set up new monsters around the floors," Ron mumbling to himself after seeing the number of DP that he was able to earn in a single day.
