Chapitre 6 : Today I became a genin

Konoha

On a bright and sunny morning, Jon woke up to realize he was late for a meeting with his teacher and teammates.

"This is how I'm going to start my sixth day? By being late for a meeting with the teacher?"

Jon put on his forehead protector and jumped out of his bedroom window, having already begun to adapt to his new body and abilities. After a few minutes of running down the road, Jon arrived at a tree that was at the top of Konoha and found Magami and Kenmo there, who greeted him. Kenmo started the conversation.

"I thought I was the only one who would be late, but it turns out everyone is late, even the teacher himself is late."

Then Magami said,

"It doesn't matter. What matters is, do you know the name of the teacher we're going to meet or any information about him?"

Kenmo and Jon replied,

"No, we don't. But we're sure to see him soon."

And after a few minutes, the person who was supposed to be their teacher arrived. He was a man wearing a hat with the Konoha symbol in the middle, with a cold and intimidating demeanor Shock was evident on Jon's face, and he quickly summoned the paper scroll to ask it. It then appeared in its unique blue form with its staff and said to him,

"It seems you're shocked that Yamato is your teacher. Don't worry, as far as I know, it seems that the Third Hokage saw great potential in your team, so he temporarily relieved Yamato of his Anbu duties and appointed him as your teacher. And as you know, Yamato also possesses a kekkei genkai ability like Magami, so he will be a great asset to you."

Yamato began to speak and said,

"Hello, my name is Yamato. I love construction and I have a lot of skills. I also hate vandals. I want each of you to introduce yourself and tell us what you like and dislike."

Magami started introducing himself first.

"My name is Magami. I'm also skilled in many things, like explosions. And I hate people who stop my explosions."

Then Kenmo began to introduce himself as well.

"Hello, my name is Kenmo. I'm skilled in controlling all ninja tools and I love making them. And I hate to fail in making one."

Finally, Jon began to introduce himself.

"My name is Uchiha Nakazi. I'm skilled in controlling lightning nature and many other things. I also like things to go my way and I hate anyone who gets in my way."

After the team had introduced themselves, Yamato started talking again and said,

"Today will be special for you because you will go through a mini-test and if you don't pass it, you will go back to the academy. Let's first head to the forest to start your test."

Jon, Magami, and Kenmo headed enthusiastically towards the forest behind Yamato. After they arrived, Yamato created three small figures that looked like copies of himself and put them in his back pocket. He then said,

"The test is this: you have to break all these wooden dummies in my back pocket before noon."

The three looked at each other as if they knew what they were going to do. Magami started firing clay bird bombs, followed by several wing blades from Kenmo. Jon enhanced the attack with lightning. All of this hit Yamato and knocked down the dummies, but didn't break them. Jon then realized that these were just wooden copies. Jon activated the Sharingan and started running towards a tree after ordering his comrades to follow him. Upon reaching it, Jon used the Chidori to split the tree, which revealed the real Yamato inside along with the wooden figures. Magami and Kenmo were shocked by Jon's ability to know Yamato's real location. Kenmo attacked with several explosive kunai and Magami attacked with several butterflies that exploded around Yamato, who declared the end of the test after receiving a shoulder wound. He couldn't catch himself and said,

"What a terrifying team you are. Don't you see that you've overdone the attack a bit? You finished the test in just 5 minutes?"

Jon replied,

"We're sorry, but we had to succeed. And we didn't go too far because we never attacked you with our full power."

Yamato replied,

"Anyway, you are now genin and starting from today we will start going on missions."

The team was happy to have succeeded. Magami then said,

"On this occasion, I'm going to treat you to a barbecue.

"Let's go, are you in, Yamato-sensei?"

Yamato replied,

"No, I won't be going with you now. Sorry, as I already have a special mission. I'll say goodbye to you now. Enjoy your time."

"That's a shame. Good luck, Yamato-sensei. See you later."

Jon and his comrades headed towards the barbecue restaurant after finishing the test. On their way, Jon met Kakashi and greeted him. Kakashi then asked him,

"Why do I see you wandering around here with your comrades, Nakazi? Don't you have any tests?"

Jon replied,

"No, we had a test from Yamato, but we finished it quickly and were able to succeed. And now we're genin."

Kakashi then replied in shock,

"You were able to defeat Yamato so easily? That's illogical. But why did he assign you to you specifically? It seems that the Hokage saw something special in you."

Jon replied,

"No, no, it's just that we trained together hard before the exam and anticipated everything, which made us succeed easily."

Kakashi then said,

"I see. Then excuse me now, I'm going to leave you now because I have a team I want to test and I'm late for them. Goodbye."

Jon said goodbye to Kakashi and continued on his way to the barbecue restaurant with his comrades.
