I Was Asked To Wait

Seth and Ruby got to their chambers with nothing but silence between them. While Seth closed the door, he changed back to his usual form then turned around to look at Ruby.

"Hi."

Ruby was stunned. "Hi? Hi? Really? Is that what you would say to me first?"

"What do you want me to say? I am at a loss for words right now," Seth replied with a little pout as he walked to the chest where some of his clothes were and picked up a fresh new set. He swung the fabrics onto his body and threw himself on the chair that was around there in exasperation.

Ruby just stood and watched him. Her mouth would open like she wanted to speak but would close back because nothing was coming forth.

"Argh," she sighed and began to pace.
