But Are You?
"Why were you in the queen's chambers, Seth? What were you doing there?" Ruby asked from the chair that she sat on that was at the far end of the room. She was disturbed and confused about the whole situation. Ruby did not want Seth to be on bad terms with the queen or the king, his half-brother. She was of the opinion that it would make her uncomfortable staying in the place. Heck, Sek could even tell her to go back to her kingdom or he could withdraw the support that he had offered to her and even take back his soldiers. Ruby did not want any of that to happen. She could not afford to allow that to happen.
The time was too crucial for that. They were already making plans and putting plans into motion. Seth had to settle whatever that it was and get them rolling again. At least, that was what Ruby thought.
