Xuan Yu and Wang Fan

It was late at night when Lilian Mo woke up and heard some noises outside. Being a Level three ability user, her five senses had been enhanced and were stronger than most people.

"Are you sure they're asleep?"

"I'm sure! I'm sure! They have a lot of food and supplies. We scored big time this time around."

"Tch. Don't get excited just yet. One of them was carrying a sword and the other was carrying a pair of daggers. We need to remain cautious."

"Aish. They're only little kids. What could a bunch of babies do to ability users like us?"

"Shut up. We need to move quick. Otherwise, boss will be get mad. We could hand over the females to him but the male needs to be killed."

Xuan Yu and Wang Fan shared a look of understanding and nodded.

Xuan Yu was a water ability user while Wang Fan was a fire ability user. They were opposites but they were the fastest when it comes to completing their missions.

Additionally, they were former convicts who escaped the prison and managed to come to this village to build a hideout. They also got lucky enough to survive and gain an ability, making them feel like they were on the top of the world.

The two entered the house quietly, opening a room that was unlocked. They saw a thin and scantily clad figure on the bed, sleeping next to a tall man who was sleeping as straight as a log while wearing a blue colored long sleeved and pants.

The peculiar thing was that the young man was still holding a dagger even while asleep. The beauty next to him who was wearing a thin white dress was hugging his arm and sleeping quite comfortably.

Xuan Yu and Wang Fan shared a look. They readied their hands and was about to go in for a kill when they felt a sudden release of killing intent behind them.

The two froze as something cold and sharp leveled across their necks.

"Good evening, uncles. Fancy meeting you here. What brought you here so late at night?" A chilly yet feminine voice said. They slowly glanced behind them and saw a short haired woman holding a sword to their necks.

"Tch. It's just a kid." Xuan Yu grumbled, releasing a sigh.

Wang Fan on the other hand didn't say anything. He was more careful compared to his companion and could immediately tell that this woman wasn't an ordinary chick.

Lilian Mo raised a brow, waiting for an answer.

"This.. " Wang Fan was about to answer but Xuan Yu was quick to speak before him.

"Hey, kid. If you want to live, you better lower your sword. Me and my buddy here are ability users. You should apologize for scaring these nice uncles while we're being nice." Xuan Yu said in an arrogant tone, raising his chin and obviously looking down at her.

Lilian Mo tilted her head. The only thing she got from that was his stupidity for showing his artery. "I'm sorry. But are you a dog? You don't seem to understand human language."

Xuan Yu's face turned red from the insult. His hands formed water balls but in a split second, wind flew pass his body and he felt light all of a sudden.

"Eh?"

The water balls dropped on the ground, along with red blood mixing with the water, his two arms laying on the floor.

A cold and annoyed voice sounded from behind them. "Who the hell is disrupting my sleep?!"

While Xuan Yu was screaming from his hands being cut, Wang Fan was already detained by Lilian Mo, and was severing the nerves on his arms and kicking him down on the ground.

Mizuki Rei stepped out of the room and hurriedly kicked the squirming figure of Xuan Yu, a nasty expression on his sleep deprived face. Mizuki Rei hated being disturbed in his sleep the most. He would naturally not let the offender go.

"Don't kill him. Go ask about why they're here." Lilian Mo said, stopping his arm.

Mu Qingqing went out of the room, rubbing her eyes tiredly. The sight of seeing a pair of severed arms and a squirming man on the floor shook her awake.

Her pretty face frowned and she looked away with disgust.

"Ugh.. Momo, who are they?"

Lilian Mo pinched Mu Qingqing's cheek, eliciting a sound of complain from her.

"Ouch! Momo, it hurts!"

"Little girl, look at what you're wearing. It's so cold at night but you're wearing so little."

Mu Qingqing stuck a tongue out and hugged her waist playfully. "Hehe. Momo, I was waiting for you to sleep beside me but you didn't come and I fell asleep. Reirei was with me and he's warm, too! But not as warm as Momo.."

Being compared yet again to the scary girl made Mizuki Rei depressed. He could not seem to win against Lilian Mo who was always taking his little fiancée's attention from him.

With his sleep interrupted and the jealousy burning inside him, he kicked Xuan Yu on the ground harder.

"Speak! Or I'll cut your third leg next then feed it to the mutants." Mizuki Rei threatened.

His glare and terrifying aura frightened Xuan Yu who was crying out from the pain.

"Damn bastard kids! You'll pay for this! If the boss finds out, you three are dead meat!"

Mizuki Rei kicked him in the face. He mercilessly aimed a wind blade at the man's groin, garnering another scream from the man. He was so annoyed at the noise that he stuffed a severed hand on Xuan Yu's mouth, the gore not fazing him at all.

Lilian Mo sighed.

"Kill him." She said without mercy.

Mizuki Rei did as she said and sliced Xuan Yu's neck cleanly. Mu Qingqing made a face at the sight of blood but she looked at her fiancé with worry.

"Reirei, don't get mad. We'll definitely find the ones behind them.."

While looking at the apathetic duo, Lilian Mo sighed and thought, 'I somehow created a pair of gluttonous monsters.'
