She Is Also A Woman

Lilian Mo was not the only victim of Feng Ran's jealousy. She had found out that there were other girls who were schemed against by Feng Ran and they too, had been thrown in the pack of wolves. But unlike Lilian Mo who had Lin Fang, those girls were completely defenseless and most of them died while they were violated.

Lilian Mo's blood boiled with rage as the suppressed memories of her past that she tried so hard to ignore came rushing to her mind. The bitter memories of pain and hardships flashed before her mind's eye, leaving her cold and nearly dead inside.

'I don't understand it.' She thought while fighting off the mutants and firing bullets nonstop.

'She is also a woman. Even if you're jealous and envious, how could someone be cruel enough to subject others to rxpe to achieve their goals?'

Lilian Mo glared at Feng Ran who was too busy screaming and running away as if her butt was on fire, oblivious to the hate filled gaze that was directed to her.

What was worse was the fact that this Feng Ran was not an ability user and her only victims weren't females. There were also males in them. Lilian Mo could not believe that this weak woman in front of her was the same person that made her life miserable and had nearly ruined her.

'She's weak. It would be too kind of me to kill you without letting you suffer.' With vengeance in her mind, Lilian Mo continued to travel for three days in the same manner, going out to find mutants and deliberately making it hard for Feng Ran.

Feng Ran was starting to catch up to what Lilian Mo was doing but whenever the girl would offer her an apple or orange to eat, her worries would vanish and her mind would only be occupied of eliminating the gnawing pain on her stomach that was due to hunger.

Feng Ran thought that she was quite fortunate. She had stumbled upon someone really strong. Although Lilian Mo did not look very strong, her appearance of a beautiful and icy goddess was deceiving.

Feng Ran had witnessed how Lilian Mo ruthlessly and viciously fought the mutants as if it was child's play to her. A shred of hope alighted inside Feng Ran but after remembering all of her near death experience these past three days, her mood soured and plummeted.

She had been so anxious and worried that she did not have the time to take care of herself and her appearance. If one were to see her, people would think that they were looking at a middle aged old woman instead of a twenty-five-year-old girl in her youth. Her skin had gone dry and her lips were cracked. Her hair was in a messy hairdo while there were bags in her eyes. She had obviously lost weight based on how the clothes did not cling properly to her body.

What's more, Lilian Mo was eager to move and travel, reasoning that the faster they arrive at the base, the better it was for them since they would be safe and encounter no more danger.

This simple reason convinced Feng Ran and allowed her to endure the past three days. She simply cursed Lilian Mo inside her mind for not doing her best to protect her from the mutants.

The girl was obviously strong but for some reason, she would only arrive at the last minute. Feng Ran was suspicious but Lilian Mo did nothing to indicate that she was scheming against her.

"Auntie, here. Eat up. I know that you're tired and hungry. It'll be over soon." Lilian Mo said sweetly while smiling. Her beautiful dark eyes were like spring waves and autumn rain that would brighten up the surrounding area. Yet for some unexplainable reason, there was something off about her words.

But when Feng Ran saw the big juicy apple handed to her, Feng Ran ignored Lilian Mo and hurriedly ate it all up, delighting in its sweetness.

Lilian Mo looked coldly at this as she walked away and took out the freshly drawn pig blood from her space.

Without any signal, she dropped the bottle.

Crash!

The glass bottle shattered to pieces and resounded across the area. It was followed by the strong taste of pig's blood that were great bait for attracting mutants.

Hiss.

Hiss.

Seeing the grotesque and ugly creatures approaching with bloodshot eyes and sharp teeth, Feng Ran who was munching on the apple froze in surprise. There were significantly more mutants this time, amassing to almost a hundred as they moved to surround them.

In the group, Lilian Mo could see a few level one mutants as well as level two. With her being a Level five ability user, these fishes were not enough to feed the shark that was her.

Alternating between her handguns and knives, Lilian Mo lunged forward and began the carnage, dyeing the roads with dark blood while screams pierced through the air.
