One Woman Kind Of Man

A few days ago, after escorting the injured Mu Qingqing out of the hospital, a car stopped ahead in front of them. Mizuki Rei tensed up when he saw this, not trusting other people after Lilian Mo's repeated warnings about the human heart during the apocalypse.

Lin Jiaojiao who was ridden with guilt after Mu Qingqing got injured because of her carelessness was also on high alert when she saw the car.

Two people got out and approached them.

Mizuki Rei was shocked. A tall man with dark curly hair just like Mu Qingqing walked towards him. He knew this person.

"Brother Qian?" He said with disbelief.

"Little Rei? Is it really you?" Mu Qianmo said with surprise before he looked at the person being carried behind Mizuki Rei. His face immediately blackened.

"Qingqing...! What happened to Qingqing?" Mu Qianmo who was Mu Qingqing's maternal cousin panicked after seeing the large wound on the girl's shoulder, running down her back. Even the clothes were torn which exposed a huge part of the girl's skin.

Mu Qianmo hurriedly removed his jacket away from his body and draped it across the girl.

"Little Rei, it's you!" Fu Yangzhu energetically said upon coming closer.

"Fu Yangzhu, I'm older than you! Watch your words!" Mizuki Rei said with irritation after seeing the little troublemaker. It turns out that this guy was really alive! Lilian Mo did not lie!

Fu Yangzhu made a face. "Only by a few days! Little Rei, don't get carried away." He stuck out his tongue like a child before hiding behind Mu Qianmo.

"Brother Qian, Little Rei has become rebellious! He's bullying this little brother!" Fu Yangzhu said with a pitiful voice, throwing an accusing look at Mizuki Rei.

"Stop it. We need to treat Qingqing first!" Mu Qianmo scolded. His eyes landed on the medical supplies on Lin Jiaojiao's hands.

"Miss, there's no time so I'll have to be impolite. Please lend me the medical supplies for my younger sister!"

Lin Jiaojiao was in a dazed. How can someone be so handsome and good looking? She robotically handed the medical supplies as her eyes followed after Mu Qianmo's tall figure.

"Thank you!" Mu Qianmo smiled which made Lin Jiaojiao blush, nodding in acknowledgment. "Let's go to the car! It'll be convenient inside since the weather is cold."

"Hey, this girl. I've never seen her before. Little Rei, don't tell me you're cheating on Qingqing?" Fu Yangzhu said as he covered his mouth and stared at Lin Jiaojiao with exaggerated eyes.

Lin Jiaojiao finally returned to reality when she heard this. "N... No! I don't like Big Brother Rei that way!" She stuttered in a meek tone while blushing. She had never been good at conversation when speaking with the opposite gender so she was a little nervous as she spoke.

"Fu Yangzhu! Get your eyes cleaned! She's a teammate! I would never be disloyal to Qingqing! I'm a faithful man!" Mizuki Rei glared at Fu Yangzhu. This little troublemaker always spoke whatever was on his mind and made people misunderstand. What would Qingqing think of him? No, no. Qingqing trusts him and Mizuki Rei is a one-woman kind of man.

Furthermore, Qingqing had been the little girl that he cherished and adored since they were young.

Why would he cheat on the girl he likes the most?

Besides, Lin Jiaojiao was too young and too shy. She was not his type and Mizuki Rei saw her as a little sister instead of a potential love interest. Qingqing was still number one in his heart. No one could compete against his Qingqing. As a man, it was his duty to make sure the girl was okay.

His eyes became somewhat gloomy since he failed to do his duty.

Even now, he did not blame Lin Jiaojiao for getting his fiancée injured. Instead, Mizuki Rei blamed himself for not paying attention to the girl and for being too slow to catch up! Mizuki Rei had worked really hard but in the end, his fiancée still got injured!

This was a huge blow to his pride as the man and the protector. He was immersed in his guilt as Mu Qianmo took Mu Qingqing away and carried her inside the car. The girl had passed out from the loss of blood.

Mizuki Rei clenched his fists and only then did he realized that he was holding two resins that was given by Lilian Mo.

"Brother Qian! Wait! I have two resins!" Mizuki Rei shouted and showed them.

Mu Qianmo's brows furrowed in confusion. "What are those?"

Mizuki Rei was shocked. "You don't know? These are resins! You get them from mutant plants! They can heal wounds and injuries depending on their level!"

Fu Yangzhu heard this and was amazed. "Then quickly give it to Qingqing... Do you feed it or what?"

Mizuki Rei was stunned. He also did not know what to do with the resins. Lilian Mo told them it could heal but she forgot to say how.

Just when they were drowning in despair, a cold and smooth voice spoke up.

"Feed it to her."
