Disagreement
In the outside world, Lilian Mo was still feeling cold in her bones but she managed to bear with it... She was tougher than this. It was uncomfortable but she would manage. They all moved together while packing and once they were done, they went out of the room to meet up with the others.
"Lu Jingren.. did you really not see Lu Jingren anywhere?" Lilian Mo asked Fu Yangzhu. Each of them carried bags in their hands and back.
"No... We didn't see Boss Ren at all." Thinking about the Boss's disappearance, Fu Yangzhu became worried again.
They all met up downstairs. When seeing the people from the army, all of them wearing military uniforms and carrying guns, their group was a little intimidated.
"Ms. Yang." Ye Yu said, approaching the twins, then he looked at Nathan Yang, gave him a brief nod of acknowledgment. Ye Yu looked about the same age as the twins or at least a few years older. Out of the three, Ye Yu did not look the part of a soldier.
In fact, he looked very thin and skinny, while also wearing glasses. Accompanied by his mean and sharp stare, people would think he was an accountant if not for the military uniform he was wearing.
"Is that all of them?" Ye Yu gestured to the group who he deemed were just a bunch of harmless teenagers.
"They are missing one person." Nathan Yang mentioned, crossing his arms patiently.
Mu Qianmo spoke up. "I wonder if you've seen our friend? He's easy to spot, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He's as tall as I am."
"A foreigner?" Ye Yu turned to the Yang twins.
Nathalie Yang shrugged. Nathan Yang also shook his head.
"We didn't saw anyone with that description." Ye Yu responded nonchalantly as if a missing person wasn't that big of a deal.
"What?" Fu Yangzhu and Mizuki Rei said at the same time. If these people didn't see the Boss then where is Boss Ren at?
"Anyway, enough about that. The solar generator is completely fine, right? It wasn't damaged, is it? Because if it is, Lieutenant will whip both of your asses for fxcking this up."
"Hey, mind your language. There's a kid here." Lin Jiaojiao said, covering both of Zhang Youji's ears.
Ye Yu ignored her, looking at the Yang twins in a serious manner.
"I don't answer to you, bootlicker." Nathan Yang said before turning around and heading towards an army truck. He gestured for Lilian Mo and the others to follow him.
Nathalie Yang whistled, looking very amused. "I know that you two don't get along but this is even better than I expected. That's one more person that hates you, asshole!"
"Hey!" Lin Jiaojiao reminded.
Nathalie Yang turned to her then to Zhang Youji, not caring about her use of foul language. "It's really rare to see a child in times like this but with that barrier thing, I'm not surprised that you got here in one piece." Then Nathalie Yang shrugged. "So many of them died you know? Kids are usually a group's cannon fodder when people get desperate."
"Ms. Yang, I asked you a question!" Ye Yu said, sounding annoyed. He did not care about this group of kids at all. At most, they would just be another useless waste of space.
"Yeah, yeah. The solar generator is unharmed." Nathalie Yang said in a bored tone. "You can send in the guys and have them dismantle it. I'll wait here outside to guard. And you kids, just follow Nat and no one will try to mess around with you. Also, this guy is Ye Yu. He's the Lieutenant's dog and...he bites. "
She grinned at them, winking. "Don't say I didn't warn you."
Ye Yu threw an annoyed glance at Nathalie Yang then he looked at the group of young people before him, sizing them up. His gaze fell on Lilian Mo.
"So you're that Mo kid? You're taller than I expected." Ye Yu said as he adjusted his glasses. Without waiting for an answer, he left and turned away, barking orders at the others.
Fu Yangzhu gaped. "These people are so ruuuuude!"
The others also felt the same as him.
"Let's go.." Lilian Mo beckoned as she went to follow Nathan Yang.
"Wait, wait. We're just gonna go? Sister-in-law, what about Boss Ren? We should go and find him. Why should we even go with these guys? I don't like their attitude." Fu Yangzhu complained. He has been very patient lately but he was starting to get anxious.
"Yangzhu, tone down your voice. You don't need to shout." Mu Qianmo told him.
"Brother Qian, aren't you a bit too calm? Boss Ren is still missing!"
"Fu Yangzhu, Brother Qian told you not to raise your voice." Mizuki Rei said. He was also beginning to get annoyed at the situation. The fact that they were tired and were lacking sleep was making them all irritated. It had been a while since they had a disagreement. Their relationship with each other was pretty good as friends and brothers but inevitably, things like this will pop up since everyone has their own opinions.
