Coming of the Apocalypse Queen

In the year 2XXX, a blue meteor from outer space landed on Earth and signaled the dawn of the apocalypse. More than 60% of the population was wiped out by a mysterious disease. Plants and animals turned into mutants. People gained powers and abilities. The world and the government collapsed and turned into a world where only the strong is respected while the weak are doomed to die. Lilian Mo didn't have a good life during the apocalypse. She was reduced to being a possession of her fiancé and became his glorified bed warmer. He kept her locked up in his villa and rarely allowed her to go out, keeping her around as his pet that he took care of. Though it was considered a luxury to be able to eat three times a day and drink clean water in the apocalypse when all the water sources are contaminated, Lilian Mo sneered at this kind of life and escaped her confinement meeting people along the way and gaining an ability on her own. She found 'friends' during her journey and fought alongside them through life and death, only to be betrayed by them. Lilian Mo died tragically when she was pushed to a group of mutant animals by her so-called 'friend' whom she treated as a sister. When it seemed like everything was going to end for her, she opened her eyes and went back to her sixteen-year-old body, two months before the apocalypse. "The heavens have not forsaken me." Lilian Mo swore to grow stronger and take revenge on those that betrayed her trust. Lucky for her, she was reborn with the knowledge of the future and given her own special dimension. Her golden cheats allowed her to sail through the apocalypse without worrying about food or water. After waking up two months before the apocalypse, Lilian Mo decided to set her eyes on the people that wronged her. ▪▪▪ A story about a girl's journey to becoming stronger while trying to survive in the apocalyptic world and facing the man of her past. ▪▪▪ Reminding my readers that this book's rating is [No One 17 And Under Allowed] which means it contains mature content not suitable for young readers. Read at your own discretion. This also includes gore, violence, abuse, and explicit content because the setting is an apocalyptic world. The MC is a heartless person who kills without hesitation but has a soft spot for the people she cares about. If this bothers you, feel free to drop the book. There are no major misunderstandings between the characters. Face slapping is reduced to a minimum and there are no exaggerated or draggy arguments. I only write happy endings ;) This is pure fiction. Don't expect it to be realistic. My third language is English--hoping that the Grammar Nazis would be gentle with me Cover photo not mine. I only edited it.

A Simple Headache

Still, his worry for the Boss was greater than this. What would the Boss do if he was here? Fu Yangzhu fidgeted uncomfortably. They entered a room then locked the door. Lilian Mo took out some things and asked them to help her sort them out.

"We each take two bottles of water per bag. Some biscuits and rations. Two sets of clothes and of course, a flashlight and batteries. There should atleast be one or two random items in the bag in case they try to check what's inside. We can't have similar things. Otherwise, it'll be suspicious." Lilian Mo reminded them as she organized the items inside one of the bags.

She then took out a separate bag for rice, wheat, and tools that could be used for cooking.

Fu Yangzhu sighed in his heart. "It's good that sister-in-law has thought about these things. I only thought that the space was convenient and did not really think much of the danger it would attract. It's best if sister-in-law does not tell anyone about it."

That was originally her plan. Lilian Mo was already a fire ability user and could lie through her teeth without being detected.

After they find Lu Jingren, they would head to the base then they'd ask around about Lin Fang's whereabouts. She also wanted to know what kind of person this Mo Yize is and who Zhou Yang is.

Lilian Mo was very firm about her memory. She was sure that she remembered very clearly that she did not have an uncle or any other relatives for that matter. However, she was suspicious because of what Mu Qingqing said.

"Momo, I remember that you said that your uncle was from the army. Is your uncle that General Mo?"

Lilian Mo closed her eyes. From the day her parents died, no such person came. It was only Grandma and Grandpa who came to take her away.

"But you also told me that you two aren't close and that you can count the number of times you met him on one hand."

'Count the number of times I met him on one hand,' She thought but no matter how much she tried to remember, a person that was supposed to be her Uncle never appeared in her memories.

It was strange, so very strange.

It was also strange that Lu Jingren would go missing when he was supposed to be lying on the floor of his room and withstanding the pain of his bone marrow being cleansed. It couldn't be that he has recovered so fast and had left his room.

However, Mu Qianmo said that there was a change of clothes and a bowl of strawberries left on the table which was suspicious. If he had really woken up, Lu Jingren would have taken a bath first and changed his clothes since he was the type who likes to keep himself clean. He would have also eaten the bowl of strawberries due to his hunger.

But he did none of them which caused her to realize that something was wrong.

Lilian Mo really did not want to go to find him but because of the others, she had to put in an effort. She knew that the guys would not let Lu Jingren's disappearance slide so easily.

While she was thinking, Lilian Mo felt a dull ache in her head, causing her to pause in her movements. At first, it was just like a simple headache, something that she could ignore and endure.

However, seconds passed by and the pain grew, almost unbearably.

The hand that was holding a bottle of water loosened its grasp. Lilian Mo closed her eyes and placed a hand on her temple.

There was ringing in her ears. She tried to open her eyes but the throbbing sensation in her caused her to grimace. Her sight became a little blurry as dizziness washed over her. She stood up, placing a hand on the wall for support.

"Big sister Mo? What's wrong?" Lin Jiaojiao placed the items she was holding down to the ground, rushing towards Lilian Mo.

"What's going on?" Fu Yangzhu felt puzzled by what was happening. He reached out his hand, wanting to grab Lilian Mo's shoulder to see the expression on her face only for her to smack it away.

She waved her hand at them. "I'm fine...I'm fine..." She tried convincing them but it was more to convince herself.

Zhang Youji who was very quiet for a long time raised his head and looked at Lilian Mo. His hand that was clutching Lin Jiaojiao's arm tightened.
