Arc 3 : Chapter 1: Survival of the fittest (1)

With my uncertain power that I had learnt about through past these years, I was now writing my first test for joining this academy.

Our first test was a written exam where they tested each person's mental ability.

I finished the written test and was waiting for the results to come.

Next day,

Out of the numerous number of applicants, the top 1000 applicants were selected.

I was now one of the 1000 selected applicants.

This was the message I got from the academy.

Flutter....

"Everyone line up and get to the allotted positions", said a female supervisor with a megaphone.

"The top 1000 students will now be taking 2 series tests"

They provided each applicant with an electric band to monitor the progress we make.

"First up...."

"100 squats"

puff...huhhh..

"Next up..."

"100 pull ups"

I could look at the applicant numbers slowly dropping as we were going through this hellish test.

"100 push ups"

Cough...Puff...

"Hmm it seems there is quite a healthy number this year".

"Now for the final part of this test"

{Huh? There is more?!},a person behind me stated.

"A 10 km marathon race!"

Noo!!!

As the chills went down my spine I was getting into running posture.

"Start!!"

Swoosh

Dash...

I sprinted past the competitors as I advanced and felt the wind blowing past me.

Flutter..

I looked at the end point and it almost felt like how a person would feel after gaining a drop of water amidst the scorching sun of a desert.

Rang the band stuck to my sweaty arms.

A blue display working like a hologram appeared and gave the test results.

And finally the 2 test were over and for the final test the top 100 are selected.

And from all the 4 camps, the selected applicants will now take part in the final test.

"All the selected applicants are hereby told to come to the machinery test site", said the supervisor.

I followed the supervisor along with the other applicants.

"Alright ladies and gentlemen It's time to suit up"

HUH?

To my surprise I had to wear a tight suit yet really flexible.

With it's shining whitish grey main color.

As the red stripes danced down the shoulders.

It felt so hyped up for me.

The applicants in front of me didn't have the same color and pattern that I had.

"With that being said lets get you guys some cool bands"

As the electric band I first had was replaced by a comparatively thick and metallic band.

"This will guide you and I will explain you the rules once you get to the arena first"

"Alright everyone, each one of you have to sit in of those white pods, Got that!"

She pointed her finger towards a vehicle which could levitate and was similar looking to a micro vehicle without wheels in my past world.

I sat inside the pod,

It had no steering wheel and all it had was a screen and some side displays showing coordinates.

"Buckle up", she said from the invoice of the pod that I heard.

I closed my eyes as the pod started shaking.

Swoosh..

Flutter..

I felt a gentle wind as I opened my eyes.

It wasn't the pod that moved but instead it was me!

As a screen appeared that showed my quest.

{STAGE 2: SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST

Category: Battle Royale

Quest: Collect 5 insignia and reach the reception hall safely without losing your insignia.

Progress: 20% ( Each player by default is given 1 insignia)

Rules: 1. If a player defeats or steals an opponent's insignia the opponent is unable to fight.

2. Even If the opponent has 1 or more than 1 insignia defeating that opponent will

only add 1 insignia to the player.

3. Insignia are present on the crest of the suit and taking opponent insignia will add

a virtual number (+1) to the initial number.

4. After taking opponents insignia if either of the players will take violent actions the

band will electrocute that player.

And this is a king of such circumstances,
