Chris and Janet!

<p>As Alex waited at the front entrance for a reply he was thinking about the 2 scientist in the CDC although they weren't the best but they were definitely the ones in the best position to survive as the other CDC centers were overwhelmed by the zombies once the chain of command of the military broke down which was only 15 days from now, the scientists in this CDC managed to survive for a while but eventually go broken into by some survivors and the rest is quite tragic as they have been isolated from the outside world they were very naive to what survivors had become and what they do and did to survive the hell of the apocalypse rending them defenseless after all the survivors at that point didn't look ahead in the future they just wanted to survive and a CDC facility with left over weapons and rations from the security guards and staff was a great target after all whats the point of finding a cure when 80% of the population was zombies as Alex was in thought of the tragic future of this couple the 15 he chose to take with him weren't idle and just standing behind him they themselves joined themselves secured the area of the building while they had the time<br/><br/>In the control room in the CDC center there was an argument "Chris how long can we go we are alone our food won't last us forever no one will come for us we are just 2 lost souls and if refugees come looking for food and weapons what are we going to do give it to them" said the woman she was not as calm and mature as when she was lecturing Chris about hope and passion in the laboratory she looked like she wanted to grasp onto the last hope she can find "Janet we must remain cautious these aren't military they are people we don't know" said Chris trying to calm his wife while Janet said a little excited "what do you mean they aren't military look at them sweeping the area they look like military to me if they wanted they could break in look at their armored vehicle for crying out loud these people must be a group of mercenaries or heavily prepared retired military men" said Janet a little naive and irrational but there was truth in it if Alex wanted to a grenade or ramming the door could open it pretty easy Chris just sighed and said "Janet you said some truth the way they sweep the area and wait makes me believe they truly care about our safety and feelings they must have a plan for the future we are already forgotten the military already evacuated all the scientists and research data they will not come back for us" said Chris with a sigh as he pressed the button to talk, Alex who was already bored from waiting was looking around the area and looking at his teams work they were very efficient covering each others backs at corners and leaving the blind spots it looked like the area was cleared of zombies as it was remote and no one came here the 3 zombies he shot should be some hikers or chanced them from the road as he was watching his team work a voice came from the panel <br/><br/>"What is your purpose for coming for us and who are you I don't want the same answer as last time" the voice was still cautious Alex didn't mind intact he was relieved that these two were not so stupid to let strangers in "we are umbrella and I'm Alex Keith we are a bunch of retired soldiers when everything started I used my own money to make a shelter for all homeless veterans in Wisconsin we came here because we heard that you were left alone so we came to help you" Alex said the truth as he needed their trust and they would know either way by just talking to the veterans or his squad he didn't want them to feel like he lied to them while Alex was waiting for a reply in the control room Janet and Chris were discussing Alex's word "no wonder that name looked familiar taking in those veterans when they were at risk of being attacked by zombies would get people's attention and considering winconsin has 5million people with 300k veterans almost everyone has a connection to the military and having one of the largest military bases in the country and those papers and advertisements almost everyone was talking about it for a time" said Chris as Janet was already getting excited as she said "this is great with their protection we could find a cure sooner" as Chris sighed and said "taking a risk on getting us and then providing their help I don't see an issue of letting them in" said Chris as he pressed a button and said "alright y'all can come inside"<br/><br/>Alex was patiently waiting it's only been a minute since he answered when he suddenly heard "alright y'all can come in" from the speaker making him straighten instantly as he said in the radio "Zzz…group up at the entrance we are going in..zzz" soon the group of 15 were in front of the door as a person opened the door they tactical went into the building covering each others flanks what they were greeted with was a brightly lit hallway with many rooms suddenly a room opened making everyone point their rifles to the door seeing 15 men wearing more tactical gear than special forces with no skin showing only black gave Chris a mini heart attack and he quickly said "Alex?" Hearing this alex said "ok drop your weapons secure the buildings I don't want anything to go wrong" as soon as his words dropped the 15 he brought broke of into groups as they went around the building<br/><br/>Alex took of his gas mask as a sign of good will and said "nice to meet you Mr.brown" extending his hand for a hand shake with a smile </p>
