Zeh confess's his love for Banni to Kalz

The police men approached Kalz and Zeh, they were three in number.

"We got a report from one Mr. Zeh" one of them said.

"I am the one sir" Zeh answered trying to identify himself.

"Alright then, where is the lady? We would like to ask her a few questions." The same police man said politely.

"She's inside, come this way" Zeh said as he led the way. Banni was already up. She sat up when the police men came in. "Can you attend to them?" Zeh asked Banni, his voice sounded so concerned.

"Yes, I can" she replied quietly.

"What does the man look like? We were there last night but he was no where to be found, could you discribe him so we can know who we are after." The second police man explained.

"I think I have a photo of him." Banni said as she reached out to her phone to open there chat on WhatsApp.

"You have his number?" The third police officer asked.

"Yes I do" she replied.

"Let us have it" the first police man said.

"Here" She raised her head and handed the phone over to the police men. "That's his photo and his number above it." Bani said.

"What was he thinking? You have his photo and he still wanted to kill you, didn't he think he would easily be caught." Zeh said.

"How would he? He would probably think after killing her, no one would know, after all dead men tell no tale." The first officer said.

"Well, thanks for this, it will be of great help." The officer added and Banni simply nodded. "Thanks for your cooperation" the officer said to Zeh and Kalz and then left.

"Oh my, Banni how are you doing?" Kalz asked.

"When did you get back?" Banni asked, she was surprised to see him.

"I rushed back to see you immediately I heard of it, how's our baby?" He asked.

"Our baby, did he just say that?" Banni thought to herself. "I'm alright, the doctor said the baby is fine." Banni responded.

"Hmmm, I'm glad." Zeh said.

"Would you like to have something?" Zeh asked.

"If I say no, would you let me stay here without eating?" She asked Zeh.

"No, never" he responded and they both started laughing. "Alright, I'll get you something to eat" Zeh said.

"I'll come with you Zeh" Kalz Said. "Alright" Zeh responded and they both left.

"I thought I asked you to come home and get a DNA done with Zarah but you refused, and immediately you heard Banni was in Danger, you rushed back home." Zeh said, trying to start a discussion on there way to get the food for Banni.

"So what are you trying to say?" Kalz asked.

"Just saying, do you have feelings for Banni?" Zeh asked.

"What are you saying? Banni has my unborn child, so what's wrong with being concerned about her health." Kalz asked.

"Nothing, I didn't say anything was wrong, well..... I think I like Banni.." Zeh said calmly, Kalz stopped walking, he was trying to understand what Zeh just said. "What? Aren't you coming?" Zeh asked when he noticed Kalz stopped walking.

"What did you just say?" Kalz asked.

"Eemmm, I don't think I like Banni, I know I love her" Zeh said with a fixed gaze at Kalz.

"You know Banni has my child, what do you mean you have feelings for her?" Kalz asked.

"What does that have to do with having feelings for Banni? It doesn't stop her from having your child." Zeh replied.

Kalz was dumb founded, he didn't expect to hear that from Zeh, Zeh of all people, how?

"By the way, you can call Zarah to come over since we are already in the hospital, let's get the DNA done, who knows, the baby might be yours." Zeh said, but Kalz was still very quiet. "Alright, I'll call Zarah over myself" Zeh said. Kalz still didn't say anything, Zeh left him as he stood akimbo infront of the hospital.

That evening, Zarah came to the hospital to meet Kalz and also get the DNA done with him. They all waited patiently for the doctor to come out with the test result. After a few hours, Kalz and Zarah went in to see the doctor and get the test result. Zarah looked into the test result and was dumb. "what does it say?" Kalz asked. Zarah didn't budge, Kalz swiftly took the test result to check the content. He was shocked.

"What's this supposed to mean?" Kalz asked but got no response, itstead Zarah ran out of the doctor's office.

Zeh saw her run out and tried to call her but she didn't stop. Kalz rushed out immediately.

"What's going on?" Zeh asked.

"Zarah...." Kalz said hesitantly.

"Zarah what? What about her? Didn't you get the test result?" Zeh asked.

"The baby is not mine" Kalz said.

"What do you mean?" Zeh asked. "Hold... If it's not yours or father's then who's baby is she carrying?" Zeh asked rhetorically.

"What the fuck!!!!" Kalz screamed. Zeh rushed to him and helped him sit. "If I am not the father and she claimed she slept with Father recently and yet father is not responsible for the pregnancy then does it mean she have been cheating on me all along?" Kalz asked looking so confused and devastated.

"Zarah never seemed to be someone who could sleep around" Zeh said.

"I also thought same, but take a look at what's been happening lately." Kalz said.

"It's alright okay, just be calm, it's good you know it's not yours and I'm happy Dad is out of the picture too, I just have a feeling everything has gone back to normal." Zeh said trying to console Kalz.
