Banni and Zeh went together to meet the house agent. The agent kept on giving them directions to where he was and they followed it calmly.
"I'm close, where are you right now?" Banni asked and waited quietly to get a response from the other side of the phone.
"Can you see the white building?" The man on the phone asked, his voice was so loud that Zeh could even hear him.
"Yes, I can, but this place looks scary, how do you live here." Banni said and the voice on the phone laughed softly.
"Since you can see the white house, you are here already, just come in, my room is on the first floor, room number twenty six." The man said.
"Alright then." Banni replied.
"I'm pulling over here." Zeh said. "This place is okay" Banni replied.
Zeh and Banni got off the car and walked to the building they've been directed to. When they got into the building they climbed up to the first floor and then to room twenty six. Banni knocked on the door and immediately Zeh got a call on his phone.
"Banni I have to take this one" he said as he looked at the screen of his phone.
"Alright" Banni said flatly. Zeh stepped out to take the call. Banni knocked again before the house agent opened the door.
"Hi" she said.
"Hi" he responded. "Come in" he added and Banni went in quietly.
"It wasn't easy finding here, there were so many narrow roads I had to take." Banni said. The agent gently locked the door before coming to attend to Banni.
"I'm sorry about that, you're welcome to my place." He said.
"Thank you, so when are we going to see the apartment because it's already getting late." Banni asked.
"Alright give me a minute let me get myself prepared" he said.
"You should have done that before I got here" Banni said, trying so much to be polite.
"I'm sorry I didn't" he said trying to keep his words short.
"Alright, it's fine, I'm waiting." Banni said.
"What's your name by the way?" She shouted as the guy went in to do what he wanted to do.
"Ernest" he screamed from inside.
"Alright" Banni murmured.
Knock knock... A knock came by the door, she was sure it was Zeh so she stood up to go get the door.
"Zeh?" She questioned when she got to the door. "Yes" the voice came in from the other side. "What kept you so long?" She asked as she opened the door.
"I'm sorry, the call is very important, it's from my business partner, you know." He explained as he walked in.
"Alright" she replied and then another call came in on Zeh's phone again, he looked at Banni and they both laughed. "Who is this time?" She asked smiling.
"The same person, look at it." He said turning his phone screen to show her who it is that keeps calling.
"Come on, you don't have to do that, and why am I even asking? Silly me." She said smiling.
"Alright, I'll be right back in" he said as he left the room to take the call. The door closed behind him as he left. Few minutes later, Ernest came in.
"Are you ready now?" Banni asked.
"Yes I am" he replied. "Let's go" he added. He was carrying a small bag, no one could tell what was in the bag since it's not a transparent bag. Banni stood up to leave while he followed at her back. Before she could take a few steps to the door he already rushed to her and covered her nose with a handkerchief. The handkerchief was drugged so it made her struggle to breathe. Banni struggled with him for a while until she collapsed.
He gently dragged Banni to the center of the sitting room and started to undress her. He didn't finish undressing, he started to bring out sharp objects from the bag he had carried. There were different sizes of knifes in the bag and sharp ones at that. They were sharp blades and short too.
Zeh opened the door and Ernest was surprised to see someone open the door, he remembered he had locked the door himself so how did the door suddenly get opened.
Zeh was shocked at what he saw. Zeh rushed to Banni while Ernest stood up immediately with one knife and tried to come at Zeh with it. Zeh had to pull back, he had to save himself first before saving Banni.
Zeh and Ernest fought themselves. Zeh was strong enough to get the knife off his hand. When he saw he was armless he sought for a way to escape. Tho he injured Zeh on his left arm he could still see Zeh was stronger than he was, Zeh had beaten him so much after he lost the knife on his arm that all he wanted to do now was escape. Luckily for him, he pushed Zeh away and finally made his way out. Zeh called the police immediately to report the case before the guy gets out of town. He hurriedly carried Banni back to his car. It was already very dark. It was past eight (post meridian). Zeh took Banni to the hospital.
"Luckily for her, she was brought here in time so her baby is alright." The doctor said
"Thank goodness" Zeh replied with a sigh of relief.
Kalz got wind of the news about what happened to Banni and came to the hospital first thing the following morning.
"You're here already" Zeh said.
"Why wouldn't I be?" Kalz said. "What did the doctor say? How is my baby?" Kalz asked.
"Banni and your baby are both alright" Zeh said.
"Aaaah thank God, I was so scared" Kalz said.
"Who is this guy by the way, has the police caught him?" Kalz asked.
"The police is here" Zeh said as he looked towards the long hall. Zeh and Kalz watched them come to them.
