Chapter 19

Inside a huge villa located in the southern town of Finrel City, a family of four lives there. Rachel is currently sitting inside her sister's room as she tried to take a picture of herself. She tried to find a good angle of her face and snapped a photo of it. It was almost a half-hour and Rachel still cannot find a good photo to upload on her social media account.

"Can you at least turn off the shutter sound of your phone? It is really irritating!"

"Can you at least shut your mouth off? You are more irritating than the clicking sound of my phone."

The moment she heard a continuous clicking sound from Rachel's phone, Giselle, Rachel's sister, screamed loudly and threw a pillow towards her sister. She is currently trying to memorize a few lines on the script she was holding. But how can Giselle do it if she can't concentrate on her lines?

Yesterday, Giselle decided to audition for a minor role in a small teenage drama. Just like Rachel, Giselle wanted to be a famous actress in their city. Acting in front of a camera is not really a thing for her at first. But when Giselle saw how people screamed their lungs out trying to call Rachel's attention one time during her previous fan meeting, she changed her mind and decided to join the entertainment world. 

Giselle's appearance is not bad. She also has an innocent-type of beauty just like her older sister. Her youthful looks can stir a man if Giselle will only blink her eyes and try to look pitiful in front of them.

With her looks, background, and connections, and with the help of Rachel, Giselle is very sure that she can easily achieve the same level of popularity just like her sister within a short time.

"What the hell is your problem?!" Rachel screamed at her sister. She picked up the pillow on the floor and threw it back on Giselle.

"Can't you see that I am busy?! I am still memorizing my lines!!"

Rachel snorted when she saw Giselle acting like that.

"It is just five simple lines. Why can't you memorize it right away? Are you an idiot or what?"

What Rachel had said is true. There were only five sentences written on the script. For the audition that will be held three days from now, the auditionees will act like a girl who confesses her love and will be rejected by the male lead. But there were also other roles aside from that. It depends on the director what act she wants to see from them. Each auditionee has a full five minutes to show the judges including the director their acting skills.

Giselle has been reading the script for almost an hour but she still cannot memorize the lines. She was blaming her older sister for it. If Rachel did not barge inside her room earlier, Giselle might have memorized her lines already. Her sister's irritating presence is affecting her concentration!

"If you have nothing good to say, leave my room at once!"

"Why do even want to be an actress like me? Just be satisfied with your small popularity at your university."

"As if the people there are willing to pay me just because I am popular in our school."

"Hah. What a money-grubber."

Aside from the blinding fame that an actress can have, what Giselle really wants is the money she will earn once she entered the entertainment circle. Rachel's fans always give her a lot of gifts and most of them are expensive and limited-editions. Giselle thought that if she becomes a famous icon in the entertainment industry, then she will also have a lot of fans who will not only cheer for her but also give her a lot of expensive gifts.

"Tch. You know what? Do not concern yourself with me. You should focus on maintaining your 'oh so innocent' image in public, sister." Giselle reminded Rachel.

"You do not have to worry about me, my dear little Giselle. I already engraved my pure and innocent image in the hearts of my loyal fans. They will surely stick with me until the very end."

"You are that confident?"

"Of course! Not to mention, I have Iñigo's full support." Rachel confidently stated as she showed Giselle a victorious smile.
