'Clang..... swipe' the zombie he attacked deflected the sword and it flew away from his grasp.

'Shit, I am done for. How do I save myself from these guys now?' Just when Montu was pondering over these thoughts and worrying, he saw the zombies no longer paying him any attention or attacking him.

"Thank god I'm saved" he said in a relieved voice. "The sword must be the only reason they were attracted to me actively, and now that it's not in my hand anymore, I am just another zombie to them"

He used this loophole and picked up the sword again and killed the zombies one by one, when he got swarmed with zombies, he threw the sword away and picked it back once they scattered.

As the last zombie fell to the ground, Montu breathed a sigh of relief. He had completed the quest without taking any damage, and he had earned the reward of Rotten Stench.

He was one step closer to becoming the strongest undead monster in the dungeon, and nothing would stand in his way.

He gained thrust skill automatically by wielding the sword and attacking the zombies.

Thrust: The sword is extended forward, aimed at the opponent's chest or stomach, with the goal of piercing their defenses.

He was extremely happy with his progress. It took him only a few hours to reach level 4.

It wouldn't have been possible if he wasn't a zombie as he would have been affected by the rotten stench skill amplified with all the zombies combined. But it didn't had any affect on him.

He didn't had to worry about being bitten or touched too. All that would do was affect his quest but he would have no life threat.

Montu marched on, deeper into the dungeon. He could feel the presence of higher-level zombies nearby. He tightened his grip on his sword and prepared for the fight ahead.

As he turned a corner, three level 6 zombies appeared in front of him. Montu froze for a second, knowing this was going to be a tough fight. These zombies were bigger, faster, and stronger than anything he had faced before.

He charged towards the first zombie, swinging his sword with all his might. The zombie dodged and retaliated with a powerful punch, sending Montu flying across the room. Montu landed hard on the ground, feeling a sharp pain in his chest.(not really)

Montu gritted his teeth and got up, determined not to give up. He charged at the zombies again, this time more cautiously. He dodged their attacks, blocking their punches with his sword.

However, the zombies were too strong for him. Montu's attacks barely scratched them, while their blows sent him flying.

He quickly got up, clutching his sword tightly. The zombies were closing in on him, their eyes full of hunger and malice.

He charged towards them, sword in hand, and swung at the first zombie. The zombie dodged the attack with ease, and the other two quickly closed in on Montu.

Montu quickly changed his direction and used thrust on the zombie. His sword pierced through the zombie's gut in a quick and flexible strike rendering it defenseless and leaving a hole in its stomach, before the zombie could do anything, Montu quickly twisted and retreated the sword and brought it down in a swift curve beheading the zombie.

As he defeated one of the zombies, the other two lunged forward at him. He managed to parry the zombie's attack with his sword, but the second zombie bit him in his left shoulder, tearing a chunk of meat from the arm.

While trying to evade the attack, Montu stepped on the slimy area of the floor and fell down, he quickly threw the sword away.

He got up from the floor, but didn't pick up the sword. He dropped the idea of leveling up and decided to venture into the dungeon and check for the level of zombies in the dungeon.

And he could do that easily as long as he didn't carry anything with him.

He put all the three stat points he got from the level up into speed.

Although he was a zombie, and couldn't feel his body and any pain, but he could feel the power of the system, strengthening his body overall whenever he increased his stats.

"I wanted to see the end for myself out of curiosity but now there is even a reward for it. I guess I have no choice now except completing the quest as I want to check the reward and don't want to loose my two levels." Montu said to himself while going deeper into the dungeon.

Montu darted through the dimly lit corridors of the zombie dungeon, his newfound speed helping him. The constant moans of the undead echoed throughout the halls.

Not a single one paid Montu any attention. As he was progressing through the dungeon, the zombies were getting stronger and stronger. They had lesser decayed organs and flesh compared to lower level zombies.

After hours of running through the narrow paths of dungeon, he began to encounter zombies of huge build. He checked the stats of one of the zombie.
