A long way Between the Truth and Trust (part 2)

When the truth ties many people, clearing the misunderstandings comes before trusting them… yet, if the process goes in the way round, starting from trusting then clearing the misunderstanding, this could built up an unhealthy relationship… Ka Di once trusted Lu Di before understanding her.. that's what lead to the tragic end in their relationship.

These scary men went to hunting as Amie explained to those with her… she didn't explain more, but her expressions told more than her words. These people's first impression of Amie is that she is cold, arrogant, devious, and very scheming. Seeing her worried, calculating the time of the men's returning time, her concern about her people's safety, made them think differently of her.. "she is still human" they thought.

Mr. X then explained that he can call more men to fight or even call the police, and to know why they kidnapped her, but Amie refused "do you know where we are?" she added. The man questioned "where?"

Amie "Ah! I forgot you were living abroad lately… We are in the Hackli city …the nest of country's mafia." The man was shocked and Si Da did not understand.. "We will be really lucky if we succeed to come out of this mess with our head on our bodies" she added.

Si Da's hand started trembling out of fear… but Amie tightened on her hand as a way to comfort her. Si Da felts her intention, "carry on your plan, I will follow you" she added. Amie smiled a soft smile at her…"You are really Ka Di's sister" the man covering his face commented.

Si Da didn't believe that the outstanding Mr X talked to her, so she quickly answered "you didn't see anything yet". But before she adds anything, Amie asked Mr. X to withdraw his men and to follow her "I will show you a way out of here.. we will go through the forest ..it is closer to main road to the town.. there are police patrols passing by.. it's the only way out."

The man do you know this place? He asked, but Amie didn't answer him.

"As usual, you are answering only the questions you want" he added.

Walking the way between some warehouses and some old house wrecks.. Amie's breath started to increase.. the sweat on her face was like a heavy rain drops which bumps into her face and go through all her body.. Although she tried to keep her steps on the same pace, yet she couldn't.. when walking, she starts being fast but soon she slows down… she hardly can hold her feet to carry on walking…Si Da observed that, and she wanted to stop her. But Amie refused "we will be out of this city when we trespass that small forest. So let's hurry up.. the mafia's men will arrive soon. Si Da couldn't add anything as she saw Amie's fear when she first saw the men inside the warehouse.

Amie was walking and looking right and left… touching the herbs and the ground.. she hung back and let the men walk in front of her… she asked Mr. X to protect Si Da while she has to check something on the way.. One of the men asked to help her and insisted on knowing what she is looking for… but Amie didn't answer.. so he joined the others…Everyone wondered whether she really knows the way out, and were asking why didn't they come back from the same place they entered the city…At that moment Amie stopped for while thinking "there must be something off here!! Not as usual!!...she carried on her walking for some steps then she stops behind a tree and untied the kerchief she used around her waist where she was sternly stabbed in the shopping mall. The wound was already tied with a piece of cloth… she untied it too ...then took a phone and messaged someone… then quickly ties the phone to the back of her waist and again used Si Da's kerchief to tie the injury again. At this moment the group came back.. and saw Amie's hand full of blood..

"are you injured?" Mr. X asked... the others "are you alright Madam?"

Si Da: she is not.. look at her face.. look at her.. she can't even stand up…

Mr X: "let me see it.., I can help u stop it from bleeding"

"I already used some meds to stop the bleeding in the shopping mall… but already 12 hours passed without suturing the wound … anyway we don't have time" Amie added. "It is the time they come back…we will be in trouble if they find us!! Do not worry, I can support this.. they usually take the way you took to enter the city, that's why I chose this way! But…(she keeps silent then she adds), let's hurry up anyways".

Mr. X was wondering what kind of women can support a pain even a man can't support.. she is injured for more than 12 hours… and she still can walk, fight and think of plans!!!" What kind of woman are you Amie Bitt." he was thinking.

Amie insisted on carrying on walking… so they did.

At the edge of the forest and between the trees, and when finally seeing the way out of the Hackli city, some high class cars were stopping on the road … then some more gangsters came out of the cars. These men were scarier than those inside the city…

Amie shouted to the men "hide out between the trees before they see us … do not make any noise" She added.

"I.. I …I should have known" she stuttered as her energy was fading away… "this silence.. the birds sounds.. the dried herbs… they already know we fled…!!, they prepared a trap here!! But how did they know our direction?"

The man covering his face exclaimed "but how?" Amie was thinking and she remembered the man who came to search for the phone in the warehouse, she remembered that he said "you will pay for this" before passing out… she looks at them… then with voice of displeasure, she said "Again, the trust disappointed me"

The men asking their boss what to do… at that moment Amie used her last drop of energy and attacked the man who asked to help her on their way ... she defeated him in a second "traitors are what I hate most …!!" she slowly and coldly uttered "fortunately, I ha…" with a fading voice she added…unfortunately, that's all what is left in her.. the men fell on the ground,,, and Amie kneed on her feet and slowly her hands fell down.. before her body reaches the ground the man covering his face lifted her on his arms…

Si Da was looking to the scene.. Amie's face was pale yet beautiful … she seems like a sleeping princess … then Si Da remembered "is she died? She shouted … the Man tried to feel her pulse, then she said that she is out of energy and she just passed out.. "what to do now?" Si Da said… "you!! Mr X… that's your man!! How couldn't you know that he is a traitor?"

Mr. X looked at his men, but he didn't comment… "you must be worried! But I am not an enemy…" he stuttered

"I am not worried...Amie said you will protect me, and she will be alright...so just find a way out Mr X".. hurry up before she …!

At this moment, one of the gangsters approached their direction slowly.. and the men said to Mr X to take the two ladies and they will fight until the last drop of their bloods… this is the way to prove our loyalty and to take the responsibility for the sin their brother committed.

Mr X refused… and said he is not going to leave anyone here!! Yet, with the body of Amie and the weak Si Da, Mr X couldn't do anything as he promised to protect both… he thought of going back to the city, but again knew that since the gangsters knew about the two hostages fled… the city must be surrounded by all the mafia troops… he was confused what to do.
