Nakapikit ako that time. Pinapakinggan ko ang ingay na nanggagaling sa labas. Nakasuot ako ng all cream wedding dress at hawak ko sa mga kamay ko ang bouquet ng bulaklak na halo halong white tulips, roses at anemone. Ang tagal kong hinintay na makarating sa posisyon na ito. Pagdilat ko. Nakita ko ang altar na naghihintay sa akin. At mga taong nakatingin sa akin.

Ngumiti ako. At handa na akong lumakad.. Ng biglang huminto ang tugtugin. Nagulat ako. Para bang nagkakagulo sila sa harapan. Nakita ko si Papa at Mama na hindi mapakali. Anong nangyayari?

Lumingon ako sa paligid at lahat ng expression nila iisa ang pahiwatig. Nalilito, naguguluhan. Nagsimula na akong kabahan. May nangyari ba?

"Jaica?" nagulat ako ng lapitan ako ng bestfriend ko at maid of honor ko.

"No. Ma naman! Ikakasal na ako. Hindi magandang biro yan!" pailing iling ako habang umaatras at lumalayo sa kanila. Nasa paligid ko na silang lahat at sumisikip ang kinatatayuan ko.

"I'm sorry Anak." kasunod na sinabi ni Papa. Naluha ako.

"Why! Tita Cora! Where is Joseph!!" sigaw ko at hindi makapagsalita ang matanda. Wala ba silang alam sa ginawa ng anak nila! Bakit nila hinayaan iwan nya ako sa mismong kasal namin!

Naluha ako. At umatras. Nabitawan ko ang hawak kong bulaklak. Then I run.

Tumakbo ako palabas ng simbahan. Palayo sa kahihiyan. Palayo sa sakit na dinulot nya. I've had enough pain. Pero sobra ito at dahil mas pinili nyang saktan ako. And much worst..
