Chapter 4 The Man In Black

Few hours later waking up at the hospital the day is going close to night time. Looking over the room trying to figure on why is he doing here.

(In his mind).

"That's right that bastard zap me."

Turning his head towards to the window and noticed that the sun is going down slowly.

"I promise Kai I would see him."

Looking over and noticed that Shigaraki was sleeping in the room.

"Shigaraki?"

Looks at him surprised as he remembers Shigaraki's voice.

"He helped me."

Smiles slightly and moved to get up from the bed. Looking over to the door and noticed the door opening. Two police officers stepped into the room probably going to ask him questions about what happened.

Male Police Officer: Your told us about you being attacked by someone care to tell us what happened?

Looks at him calmly while pulling out a notebook preparing for the response.

Dabi: Someone came up from behind and jumped me that's all. I only remember that so yeah sorry.

Says it calmly while looking over to Shigaraki to see him waking up probably cause of the conversation.

Male Police Officer: The scene of the crime doesn't show any robbery so then I guess we'll continue on investigating.

Pulling out a card from his pocket and handed to him.

Male Police Officer: Call us when you remember anything else.

Looks at him calmly while turning away heading towards to the door along with his partner. The door shut close the entire room as gone quiet.

Dabi: Fuck...

Gets up from the bed immediately and looks through the drawers to find his clothes.

Shigaraki: Hey what really happened to you?

Asked him calmly wanting to know the full story on what happened during the dark alleyway.

Dabi: I got jumped that's all.

Says it calmly even though it wasn't true not in the least. Finding his clothes and begins to put it on quickly.

Shigaraki: You seem to be in a hurry so care to explain that at least?

Looks at him calmly yet annoyed with the response that he gotten even he's already used to the untruthful responses.

Dabi: I have to meet someone and it's getting late but don't follow me. I'm asking nicely.

Glares back at him even though he's only doing that to warn him.

Shigaraki: ...

Remaining quiet after the glare. The glare gave him a clear answer to stay away. A lingering feeling overwhelmed him thinking that his friend is up to no good or it's something else.

Shigaraki: Fine I won't follow well anyway see at school I guess.

Getting up from the chair and walks towards to the door opening slowly. Hearing movement right behind him as he looks back towards Dabi direction and noticed that he's climbing off the window even though his room isn't really high up. The curiosity couldn't be tame.

(In his mind).

"I got to know."

Running towards to the window and saw Dabi running away heading towards the right side of the street. Looking down to see how high is the fall. The realization came into his mind that it was too high up.

"How did he?"

(Out of his mind).

Turns back and heads out the door.

(In the parking lot where the Hospital is at).

A black van waits in the shadows spying on the ones who had the first warnings.

The Man In Black: It seems like he didn't even listen.

A twisted smile appears right behind the mask.

In the background shows many pictures of people who he killed or made to disappear.

(Introduction For The Man In Black).

The Man In Black is a person who is hired to watch over the ones who has warnings once the three warnings are in placed he steps in and makes the ones with warnings disappear. Meaning death or being erased. The Man In Black could only do this if he was hired by the Man In White. The Black Van represents death to the ones who dare to keep going.

The black van backs up slowly and drives to follow the one with the first warning.

Dabi: ...

Running down the street heading towards to the direction on where the park is.

(In his mind).

"It's getting dark. He's probably gone already."

Looking back suddenly to see a black vehicle following him. For some reason the headlights change color to a shade of red.

"Is that the Man In White?"

Looking at the van for a moment to see that the van's color is full black along with a symbol that represents death. A logo was also next to the symbol which it was hard to see.

"No it's not him then who the hell is that?"

Kept on running heading towards to the park. Pretending that everything is okay and the van was no longer there. Running as fast he could even though lingering pain is still could be felt on his back.

(Out from his mind).

The black van continued on his pursuit until it stopped suddenly backing up and make a turn to a different direction.

Dabi: ...

Looking back slightly to see the van moving away from him which made him felt a bit off. Especially on how it drove away. However the sense of danger still lingers in his mind the feeling of death is standing right next to him.

(In his mind).

"This guy isn't the Man In White it's someone else. Someone more dangerous."

Slowly moving forward towards to the direction of the park but kept on stopping thinking about the Black Van. Trembling in fear thinking about what if he moves forward.

"Why am I afraid?"

Asks himself and looks back to see nothing but darkness.

"No I have to move I have to go see him!"

Trying to move his own body but the fear keeps on rushing in. The fear of death which made him froze up.

"I have to go before it's too late!"

Pushing himself as hard as he could to only walk a few steps. Looking down at his legs to see them trembling.

"Move you piece of shit!"

Looking down at the ground and noticed a nail that's probably used in construction work.

(Out of his mind).

Closing his eyes to yell out two words in frustration.

Dabi: God Damnit!!!

Forcing him body to step on the nail which caused him immerse pain. Holding in the scream as he fell on the road to remove the nail that is deep in his foot.

Dabi: Fuck!

Saying it in frustration while pulling out the nail that's covered in blood. Holding in a scream as he slowly got up again.

Dabi: Don't worry Kai I'm coming.

Says a bit out of breath maybe because of the running and fear. Slowly moving forward to the direction of the park hoping he'll get there on time. Or hoping he'll still be there.

(A few minutes later at the park).

Chisaki: It's almost dark...

Watching the sunset the sun slowly going down into a shade of dark blue that soon turns to black. The lights from the street lamps turn on due to the alert that it was night already.

(In his mind).

"Probably he got scared off I wouldn't blame him..."

Looks down slightly while putting down the umbrella. The rain continued to fall even though there was few clouds in the sky.

"At least I get to talk with someone for once even though it was awkward."

Sighs slightly while getting up from the bench that was under a tree.

"I should get going."

(Out from his mind).

Hearing footsteps coming up right behind him. His eyes widen a bit thinking that it's a person that he doesn't know.

Chisaki: ...

Not wanting to turn around to see who it is even though it could be nothing maybe just a animal that wonders. Hearing his own heart pounding which caused him to move his head slightly since out of curiosity to see who it was. His eyes widen to see that the person from before was standing right in front of him.

Chisaki: Your here...

Looks at him surprised yet felt happy. A small smile appears right behind the mask.

Dabi: I told you I'll be here.

Smiles happily right back.
