FRIENDSHIP TURNS TO LOVE

If people who suffer heart breaks don't take time to fully heal and recover, they bleed on their current partners and if care is not taken they pay for the sins they didn't commit. Most people lost good relationships because they mistook their partners for their exes and missed out on good people.

Phyllis was afraid to commit to David because she was afraid to be disappointed again and David also never showed any sign of commitment towards her. They continued to go on dates and have sex when they wanted to. Phyllis liked being in David's company because he used to advise her especially on her cognitive and socio-emotional development. David always insisted she goes back to school for her post-graduate so that she could compete and stay relevant on the job market and learn on the job so that she would learn to build her own business empire. He also hammered on her building a good relationship so that she would be able to make connections and build good relationships with people.

They were always seen in each other's company especially in the evenings and on holidays. They actually treated each other like they were in a relationship. There was so much care and respect between them and she was content with that. At least she was getting good sex as well. As time went by, they became so close to each other that led to her being attached to him. She therefore decided to withdraw from him for sometime to avoid falling in love with him but then he didn't give her the chance to. The more she tried to be distant from him, the closer he got to her because he had also gotten attached and comfortable with her. Phyllis wasn't just a beautiful smart woman, she had a good sense of humour and simply knew how to keep a man.

On one Saturday, David requested Phyllis to cook for him since it had been a long while he ate a home cooked meal. She called him when she finished and he told her to meet him at his mechanic's shop. As soon as she got there, he took the bag she was holding and offered her a seat. David then introduced her to the mechanic as his girlfriend. She smiled as she exchanged pleasantries with the mechanic and later turned to look at David with a face that seems to ask what's going on.

They left the fitting shop after some time. He drove her through down because he wanted to show her his favourite places in town so that she would know where he was anytime he's out. They then left for his house. On their way home, they both stole glances at each other but didn't utter a word. David was thinking of how to propose to her because he had fallen in love with her but didn't know how to tell her. She was also starring at him because she was confused at his behaviour that very day. His housekeeper was around when they got to his house and when she met them at the gate, he asked her to help Phyllis with the things she was carrying. He introduced Phyllis to the housekeeper as his girlfriend and h needed her to be respected as the woman of the house whenever she came around. The housekeeper welcomed her and left them alone in his bedroom.

"David, what's going on with you today? You have introduced me to people as your girlfriend and have taken me to all your favourite places in this town today and I'm so much confused about it." She said still looking at him with a frown. He looked at her with a serious face and told her he's fallen in love with her and didn't want to be a friend with benefits to her any longer. " I want something more beautiful and precious than just a friend with benefits. Please understand that and don't say no to it. I'm begging you.

She looked at him with tears in her eyes and told him she also had feelings for him but was so scared of being hurt again. He then smiled and told her to just let herself go and enjoy him. "I'm afraid of how my love for you will affect me and I'm also afraid of how to not hurt you with my trust issues." She said.

David kissed her and told her to just agree to him and forget about any negativity because they would definitely cross the bridge when they get to the river. They both hugged each other tightly and kissed passionately. They were both so happy to have taken their relationship to the next level. They then ate the food she cooked and he loved it. He couldn't stop stealing glances at her because he was so happy.

David asked her to spend the night with him. She initially refused to but he convinced her to. They bathed together after watching an Indian movie entitled "I HATE LOVE STORIES" together. They discussed the movie as they watched together and they both enjoyed the discussions because they got to know each other a little more through the movie. They went to bed together as he slept behind her and wrapped his arms around her. They were both tired to make love so they slept without making love but late in the night, when she was deeply asleep, she felt his aroused dick on his buttocks and felt his hands inside her.
