Everything that was going on in the star system was way beyond expectations for the crew of THS Shore. When embarking on the journey, no one expected that they might stumble across an alien playground of sorts. Although the crew always planned for such events, but facing one was still a bit unnerving. Specially when the hints indicated that they unknown aliens might be way powerful than anyone or anything they've known or met till now.

Facing an foe more powerful than you was already quite a scary prospect, Specially when you didn't knew anything about them. The more one knew about the enemy the more one could prepare in advance, but an unknown enemy presented the sudden threat that was hard to defend against or prepare for. For this reason, Both the race responsible for the Superstructure and the ones responsible for the 4 planets were still something that the crew was fearful of.

"No matter what they are or who they are, We won't go down without a fight."

"If they decided to attack us first, I'll make sure to show them the power of the shore before going down. No way in hell am I bending over back for them."

The general mentality among the crew was quite optimistic, although they knew that they might face an overwhelming threat, but they were still ready to do their duty when needed. No one wanted to back down.

"What's the latest updates from Dr. Kbom? Has he managed to get the permissions?", The captain asked lieutenant Holland.

Lieutenant Holland was the 1st in command after the captain. In the absence of the captain he held full authority. He was trusted by the captain and the bridge crews. He was an excellent officer with great track record. He joined the 705th Arcorn viziers more than 3 decades ago, He was a trusted and respected officer on the bridge and held great respect for arcorn empire and Captain Tres Huges.

"Dr. Kbom is still in the process of talking with the council. It'll still take some time before he's able to secure the permissions.", Holland replied with an absolute tone.

"How's the preparation coming up? Is everything ready?"

"Everything is going as planned, We've transferred 2% of the sub light fuel for this mission, And the shuttles are being prepared for the expedition."

"Good, Keep me updated if something comes up. Who's gonna lead the the expedition team on the ground?"

"Dr. Helen Foster has decided to lead the expedition teams on the ground, She herself will be going with them."

"Tell the escort team to obey her, I don't wanna hear any hiccups after the team has landed, She holds absolute authority on the ground and is to be obeyed at any cost."

"I'll let them know.", Holland said as he turned back to his terminal.

Dr. Helen was one of the main researchers aboard the Shore. She specialized in exoplanets and Botany. She was specially interested in any and all kind of alien flora and fauna. She loved to explore new and untamed planets. She preferred field work instead of sitting in an lab all day. She was also really accomplished for her age. She was highly respected for her research in exo-plants that could be used to clean up the oceans of an exo-planets and make it usable for human use. It also worked on cleaning up the oceans and water sources of already colonized planets. It was a cheap affordable and low-cost solution that changed the way humans treated water forever.

For this reason, She was really respected in the research community and was one of the leading figures for botany research.

"Hey Kita, have you heard? Dr. Helen is leading the ground expedition again. She really loves to go on hostile planets doesn't she?", York said to Kita who was busy analyzing the data from V0.

"Huh? She's going again? Ughh, What am I gonna do with her, finish this for me. I'm gonna go check with her.", Kita said as he handed over a data pad to York before going out of the lab.

He headed towards the Hangers of the shore, Which was located around the middle of the ship. As a Big ship, the Shore had dedicated Highway decks to aide in travel from one part of the ship to another. This helped people reach the parts further away relatively quickly, And freed up valuable space which was already on a premium aboard the Shore. These Highway decks worked as fast lanes for high traffic transit. Once Kita got into a pod that will bought him to the Hangers, He decided to give Dr. Helen a call.

"Hey, What do you wanna say? Just leave me a message and I'll get back to you." It went to videomail.

"Ughh, She ignored me.", Kita was annoyed, She always did this when she didn't want to listen to a lecture from him.

Kita soon reached the Hangers. As he got off the Pod, he was greeted with a ton of activity. Everyone already knew about the 4 planets, Once Dr. Kbom issued the order that they are to be studied, Everyone knew that it was gonna happen whether anyone liked it or not. So everyone was working to make sure the expedition to the 4 planets went as smoothly as possible.

Kita was looking around for Dr. Helen when he saw a group of Mechs marching towards specific location. They were the team that was gonna provide protection on the ground. A team of 80 Elite mechs were to be sent on the ground as they escorted the researchers and Research shuttles to the ground of the Planets. Each of the Research Shuttles were immensely expensive and The Shore only had 40 of them, So Each one lost would be a great heat to the research potential of the Shore. So they were of great importance. Each of the researchers were even more invaluable. You can't put a price on life and the Arcorn empire valued it's researchers highly. So losing them was out of the question.
