ACS Leviathan

The man led Kita to a building. After that, he took him inside a private room that was presumably his office. The office was well furnished and look really professional.

It was decorated in a modern yet, simplistic way. The walls were adored with images of some state-of-the-art Starships. Kita recognized a few of them. Like the ACS Leviathan.

The ACS Leviathan was a legendary warship that had led humanity to victory on multiple occasion. The Leviathan was designed and built by the Arcorn Military during the expansion. During which they needed to face and fight against more and more powerful alien opponents.

While facing off against a former alien empire, the military was having problems with breaking through the enemy lines. The Aliens were really good and defending their stars and were even better at fending off invaders such as the Arcorn Empire.

The shipwrights of the Arcorn Military proposed a state-of-the-art Battleship that would be the biggest ever built till date. It was specifically designed to break through enemy lines under acute threat. The People in charge loved the idea and the features that it proposed. So with great expense, the built the Battleship. The ship was so big that it was designated its own class, called The Juggernaut.

This ship single-handedly led the Arcorn empire to victory in many occasions. The Leviathan was so huge, that a specialized spaceport needed to be constructed to dock the ship. Although it had been a few decades since it's construction, It was still in active operation and was being constantly upgraded with the latest technology. Although, it didn't hold the title of the biggest ship ever built anymore, But it was a legendary ship nonetheless

The walls were decorated with many other legendary ships such as The Banshee, Swift Semeonis, The Beluga among the other.

All these ships were legendary among their own rights. They had pushed what humanity could do by leaps and bounds and had helped the ship industry flourish...

"They are quite something, aren't they?", The Guy noticed Kita looking at the ships. So he said.

"Yes, Quite."

"Please take a seat, Mr. Thiels. I won't be able to provide you with ships such as the Leviathan today, but I might have something that could hit your fancy."

"I didn't get your name, by the way" Kita said as he sat on the sofa.

"Osritch Dunkger at your service." The man introduced himself.

"Mr. Dunkger, Pleasure to meet you."

"The pleasure is all mine. So, Mr. Thiels, What are you looking for today? Let me know your class preference, budget range, and any special instructions?"

"I am not sure about what class of ships I am looking for. I plan on traveling very much. I also might visit alien planets. So it would also need to have a hanger. I also want something that would provide good protection against enemy attacks. Also, it should have decent speed and capacity."

Kita went on for a bit as he listed out his requirements.

To be honest, he had a pretty comprehensive list of things that he wanted in his Ship. He knew what he was going to do. And he had plenty of time to plan out the features he was looking for in a ship. So he laid everything down to osritch.

Osritch also noted everything down in a handheld tab. He got increasingly impressed with Kita's knowledge on starships.

Many of his customers that came to him usually asked for a fancy and luxurious ship that they could use to flaunt in front of their friends. Initially, he had thought that Kita was a similar person. But he was being proven wrong. The guy in front of him clearly knew what he wanted, and that made his job easier and harder at the same time. It was easy as he knew exactly what Kita wanted, It became harder as It would a bit difficult to find a ship that fit the bill.

After Kita presented his requirements, He looked at Osritch hopefully. He knew he was asking for much. But he was willing to spend the money for these features.

After Osrtich noted down the last of the Requirements, He looked at Kita and inquired.

"May I ask your budget range?", It wouldn't be possible to fulfill all these requirements without the appropriate budget to work with.

Kita thought for a while. He hand't really thought about how much he wanted to spend on the Ship. He wasn't short of money. In fact, it was one of the last things he was thinking about. But that didn't mean he was willing to spend a couple of billion credits on an overpriced piece of junk. He wanted good value for his money, but was willing to spend more if needed.

"I haven't really set a hard limit on my budget. But I think 500 Million Credits should be a good starting point. Mind you, I want the best value for my money. But I am willing to spend more given that the value increases."

'5...500 Million??', Osrtich said internally.

That was a huge amount to spend on a ship. Usually one could get a couple of frigates with that amount of money. But to spend that amount on a single ship, That meant that Kita was a man of means, and he meant business.

"That's quite a generous budget. I'm sure we can find a decent ship with that budget."

"Good to hear. Well, do you have anything you can show right now?"

"Oh… Of course. Give me a few moments.," Osrtich said as he began to do something on his tab.

After a few moments. He began to project a few ships in front of Kita.

"Take a look at these and let me know if any of these fancy you." He said, as the projections kept changing from a few ships.

As Kita looked at them, All of them looked pretty impressive to them.
