Sterling
I glanced around at my surroundings, making sure that no one followed me here. It was dark out here, I had to keep this concealed as much as possible.
Killian's blue Mercedes pulled up and he cut off the headlights. He turned the car off before stepping out to come up to me. I watched him closely, waiting til he was closer to begin talking with him.
"Hey." He greeted me in a low tone. "Why'd you choose here?"
"Because, it's secure." I turned around and unlocked the door of the warehouse with the keys my father had given me. "Seemed like the best place to get this done and over with sooner."
I felt like I've already wasted too much time already. It had been days since I last talked to Isabelle. She dodged my calls after that last conversation and I couldn't take the distance between us any longer, I needed to eliminate Elise and I had to do it now.
I locked the door of the warehouse and walked through the product my father had brought in. He was taking every precaution to make sure this place was legit in case the Tunt's had come across it.
I opened the door to the basement and led the way down. It was dark and dingy, there was a door that led to a room, the same room my father had locked his own sister up in.
"What's this?" Killian seemed a little nervous as he looked around.
"Just a little secret I guess you could say." I shrugged as I began to look at my surroundings. "This is where we're going to bring them."
I had my plan all set, I just had to brief Killian on everything.
"Okay." He nodded and turned to face me. "So how's this all going to go down then?"
"Well, I've told Elise that I want to have dinner with her family. I may have also told her I had something special planned." I couldn't help the malicious smirk that crossed my lips.
I knew Elise thought I was going to propose to her. She's fucked up my life so much since I met her that I may have done it on purpose. That way I'll have the privilege of watching her face contort with disappointment and anger when she realizes the proposal is never coming.
"Something will be slipped into the meal, that way I can get her brother, her parents and her in one go." I continued on explaining my plan. "I will have a few of my guards come and help bring them here, where they'll be tied up and forced to answer for themselves."
"Okay." Killian nodded before looking around the room again. "I'm going to take a wild guess and assume that we don't have to worry about noise being an issue?"
"Of course not." My smirk grew wider. "Basement is soundproof, privacy is important for a matter like this and I intend to make them fuckers scream."
I clenched my fist as I could feel my anger rise. The Tunts were not going to get away with trying to take advantage of my family and me. I plan to destroy them, to make them pay however I see fit at the time.
"Okay." Killian looked back at me, I noticed immediately a look of concern washed over his face. "Are you good man?"
"I'm perfectly fine."My voice and face both held no emotion as I responded to him.
"I don't think you are." Killian took a step closer to me. "I've seen you angry multiple times, there's something different about this time."
"Don't fucking worry about me." I snapped at him. "I just need to be able to handle this, I have to."
"Why?" Killian continued to push me. "Why do you have to handle it like this?"
"Because it's the only way." I clenched my fist tighter. "This conversation is done, either help me or get the fuck out of my way."
Killian exhaled a low sigh. "Fine man, I'm just trying to help you."
"Then help me by keeping your mouth shut." I couldn't help the fact my anger was getting the best of me right now.
"I'm just concerned that you're in over your head." His voice lowered as he was being careful with his words. "It's not too late to bring your dad in on this plan Sterling, he knows the best way to handle things like this."
"No." I stood my ground.
Having my father on board isn't a bad idea, but the problem is he would take over and want to do this his way. I need to prove I'm just as capable of handling this on my own. I can't allow myself to live in my father's shadow.
I finished going over the last few details with Killian. I still had to decide what punishments I would give to them. Part of me would love to just kill them, end the Tunts right here and never have to worry about them again.
But that's the easy way out.
I needed to make their lives hell. Death would be too kind for them and I wanted to watch as they lost everything they've ever worked for. They deserve to know what it's like to feel like the lowest scum of the earth.
I let the way out of the warehouse, checking our outside surroundings to make sure we were still alone. I proceeded to part ways with Killian and got into my Lamborghini. I started it up and got onto the road to head back to the empty penthouse that was waiting for me.
My phone began to ring over the bluetooth connection in the car. I answered as I remained focused on the road. "What's up?"
"What the fuck are you up to?" My father's stern voice came over the speaker. "Don't bullshit me either, you still haven't come into work."
I've been dodging him as much as possible. I know if I gave him enough of my time he'd figure something out. On top of that, he is the one who told me to come back to work when I have everything figured out.
"None of your business." I responded to him.
"Sterling." His voice slightly darkened. "You don't have to tell me what it is, but I do need to meet with you."
"About what?" I rolled my eyes as I focused on my drive.
He'll just grill me about what I'm hiding. That's the last thing I need right now when I'm already so damn close to having this situation solved.
"Isabelle." He answered.
My heart practically dropped as I heard her name. I know she's upset with me but eventually she'll understand. Once Elise is gone I will do everything in my power to make up for this all.
I should protest sitting down with him, but if this involves her I need to know what's going on in case it's serious. "I'll meet you tomorrow."
