TWO DAYS LATER

"Why is he still asleep?" Jade asked as all of them are standing in the same room and staring at the sleeping prince.

Compared before, Samuel had gotten more pale and cold like a dead corpse. But whenever Blue and Trevor checks to see if he's dead. They would say that he's still alive.

Jade and the other white creatures tried to give him medicines that could help him to wake up. But nothing changed.

"I called Professor Jessi. She said she's on her way." Yvel said as she entered the room and stood beside Coleen.

Trevor sat beside Samuel. Trying to read anything in his mind. Or atleast check if he's dreaming.

But he's literally shut down like an operated android. There is nothing in his mind other than nothingness.

"Trevor! Where the hell is Yalex!? Why haven't we seen him for days!? Shouldn't he have called you or anything!?" Rhian snapped at the sorcerer.

Ever since Samuel had not waken up. Yalex also disappeared without a trace. Trevor didn't know where he is but somehow preferred it that way.

He still don't know how to face him after that making out he was forced to do with him in exchange of not stealing souls from random women.

Rhian and Yalex are the only ones who are aware about Samuel's condition. The others had no idea that Samuel was in this bad of state to the point that he had fallen unconscious for days. But the two did not know what to do at all now that Samuel had really fallen unconscious.

So Jessi might be their best card since she is the only one who knows the winter prince best.

At the same time. Rhian has been very worried so she was avoiding Trevor at all cost. She would go to the forest just so she can think and arrange her thoughts.

Trevor mentioned the real name of his father, Gammon. And he wasn't even aware of the fact that his father is the one demon stalking him.

She didn't know either if Gammon is one of the primary reason of Yalex sudden disappearance. As long as he does not return, Trevor might remain in danger without protection from his mate. And with Samuel being unconscious, they have no other idea to what to prepare if ever they got atttack out of the blue.

Rhian felt like her head is ready to burst any moment. Without any of those two. She's really furious of how to lead the group that is now a pool of a mess without its leader.

After all, they still have a werewolf hostage for days. And it's only a matter of time before the rest of its pack comes for him. She wanted to interrogate the wolf but without Samuel and Yalex. She didn't know what exactly to do first.

Soon... Jessi finally arrived causing everyone a bit sense of relief. She was carrying a very heavy and huge rectangular box. Trevor offered to help but Jessi strictly refused.

They had to leave the room in request of the fire deity. So they had to wait outside.

But somehow, the sooner that Jessi arrived. They couldn't deny that strange presence she was carrying with her. A very strange scent that everyone still recognize from Samuel. And it's very strong now and no doubt coming from the case.

After atleast a few minutes. Jessi carefully exited the room and locked it. Keeping the key to her hand tightly.

"At whatever cost, nobody shall enter this room." She warned everyone with a stern voice and looked directly at them one by one.

"Samuel had spent most of his remaining strength for a good two months with no proper rest or break. He'll most likely sleep like a fu**ing princess for atleast three more days." Jessi explained and shifted her gaze to Trevor. Knowing that the boy is trying to read her mind.

"Don't worry. He'll be good as new once he wakes up. I told that jerk to take a break and he just won't fu**ing listen!" Jessi groaned as she rubbed her temples in exhaustion.

When she had received a call from Yvel saying Samuel's condition. She finally got a confirmation to her hunch that Samuel couldn't go back home because he had fallen unconscious for being so tired and spent.

Psh. I guess he's really aging now.

She thought derisively and Trevor couldn't help but chuckle for hearing the thought.

"What was in the box?" Jade asked in confusion. Looking briefly at Trevor to see whatever comes up in her mind.

"His boxers." Jessi chuckled along with a wild grin and watched how Jade and Trevor raised a brow at her. The other girls giggling at her answer.

"Stop trying to hack my mind children! That's cheating!" She scolded and ruffled the two's hair.

"By the way! Where is that demon? I've been dying to meet him but I never really had a chance to!" Jessi said as she crossed her arms.

"He's been gone for days. We don't know where he is. Maybe in hell?" Blue shrugged and Jessi only nodded.

"I trust you more. So why don't you guard this door and make sure nobody goes in!" Jessi said to Blue which took him a bit by surprise.

"I'll go watch the window outside. So you watch here." She said but before she could leave.

"Are you hiding something from us? Something is in that case and you just won't tell us what it is." Yvel groaned as she stomped her feet in impatience.

Jessi furrowed her brows and slowly walked towards her.

"Feisty. But the fact that what's in there with him explains why you're acting like this." She said and Yvel stepped back at her sudden closing proximity. Hiding behind Coleen in the process.

"Fine. He's not alone in there. But whatever or whoever is in there. I strictly forbid you all to go in. If you can't do it for yourself. Do it for your leader. This is your first test to show how loyal you all are to him." She said in a deep and authorized tone before walking away to guard outside.

The others had no other choice but to leave and let Samuel rest. Leaving Blue to guard the door.

And since they don't really have much to do given that they've been suspended for a week. Coleen proposed a duel and the others couldn't agree more and headed to the forest.

Coleen and Yvel were the first to duel. But since they're very closed friends, they ended up just goofing around.

Trevor though didn't bother to join since they're all girls. So he decided to just wander off the forest since he's already there. But he made sure to stay close with the girls so he wouldn't go lost.

A few minutes of strolling... Trevor started humming quietly and soon found a good spot to sit under a tree.

He didn't realized he had fallen asleep on the spot. Nor felt the cold hands that grabbed him and carried him somewhere.
