Chapter 2

Boring, boring maths. Urgh! I don't how the hell Algebra is gonna help me in the future!! Like why the hell am I gonna find 'X'?! Especially if I don't know what I want to be when I older. I had loads of ideas of what I wanted to be when I WAS growing up but now...? Now I haven't got a single clue what I want to be. All these good jobs out there are very competitive and you have to be good in certain subjects. And me... well... I'm not good at ANY subjects.

I was bit the end of my pencil trying to focus on what my teacher was telling us as the door swung open, interrupting the lesson, which I was grateful for because if the teacher spoke anymore I just want to jump out the window.

"Sorry I'm late sir," the voice admitted, "I just arrived into school and I had to get my timetable off the teacher in reception."

I looked up to see a boy with pale white skin, pink lips and soft brown hair.

"Ah. You must be Blake." My teacher says happily, putting the textbook down and walking towards the boy.

The mysterious boy nodded as a sign of confirmation.

"So um... where do I sit, sir?" The boy asked as he glanced around the room. The teacher looked around. As he did so, the boy made eye contact with me. I immediately looked down at the desk, feeling my cheeks heat up slightly, confused as to why my body was reacting this way to someone I just me. I ignored my reaction and prayed to god, he wouldn't sit next to me.

"Mmmmmmm” The teacher hummed as he decided where to place the boy, “Go sit next to June." The teacher replied, as he looked over at the empty place next to me and back at the boy.

My face shot up from the desk and my eyes widened as I looked between the boy and teacher, trying to plead with my eyes not to put the boy next to me. I looked around for an empty place elsewhere but saw none.

“Yep this day is going to amazing...” I groaned sarcastically in my head.

Blake made his way towards the empty chair next to me. He drops down in his chair and stared at me. Not in a creep way, hopefully.

"Hey." His cold yet soft honey voice hit my bare neck, causing shivers down my back. I could listen to his voice all day.

"Hey.." I said reluctantly. I opened my book and write down the notes the teacher put up on the board, trying to ignore his presence next to me.

"So... um. I'm kinda new around here,” He said still keeping his eyes in me. I let out a small hum whilst writing my notes down, “And I was wondering if you could show me around. Since you're like the first person I know.." He chuckled nervously.

"Umm... yeh sure.” I nod lifting my head up to face him getting a clear view of his face. He had small freckles dotted on the bridge of his nose and his eyes were a mix of blue and green. I cleared my throat, “I'd be happy to show you around. We could meet at your locker after this lesson or at lunch. That’s be more better and I can start the tour then." I smiled at him and nodded and let him know me know where his locker was. I mean the least I could do was be nice to him.

"Thanks," he smiled back at me "You're the first person I’ve met who actually has some manners here." He chuckled.

Well I don't blame him. No one has manners in this school. Obviously except for the goodie two shoes, who are always the teachers pet and get away with virtually anything and everything.

"I don't blame you." I laughed lightly.

He keeps smiling at me but damnn, can I say one thing, his fricking teeth are straighter than my entire future!! Wow.

After about 20 years of maths the bell finally rings. I hurriedly stuff everything in my bag and rushed out of my class as fast as I could. As I reached my locker, I saw selena on her phone, smiling like the complete idiot she is. She lifted her head up from her phone and spotted me. Her eyes widened as she rushed over to me.

"OMG!! OMG!! OMG!! GURL YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHAT!!" She exclaimed excitedly as she stopped in front of me.

I looked her her confused as to what’s got her all riled up like this, "What? Did MAC just release a new lipstick shade?" I replied sarcastically with a small chuckle as I approached my locker.

"What?" Her eyebrows knitted together in confusion, "No. They released it last week.” She confirmed, “Wait. Do you even be listening to me when I mentioned it?" She asked as she leaned against the lockers next to mine

"Umm... yeh I did." I lied and let out a scoff, "I just forgot. You know me! I have a memory of a fish. Haha." I convincingly said to her, hoping she’d see through my lie.

"Yeh, that's why my contact name for you is 'Dory'"

I gasped not expecting that sort of answer at all, "Woah. Oh wow. Okay. I'm officially offended." I sarcastically say to her, "Anyways what are you so excited about?" I asked her as I put my book into my locker.

"Oh yeh!! There's this new guy who started in this school and can I just say, HE IS SO FUCKING FIT!!" She smiled at me like she hit the jackpot.

I kept my eyes in my locker before I closed it and looked at her, "Ok...?” I questioned, “Well I've never seen him before so I don't know if he's fit or not..." I admit with a small shrug, which made her chuckle.

"So anything happen in Maths?" She nudged me with her pointy elbow.

"Firstly, OUCH.” I rubbed my arm, “And secondly, yes. A new boy also came in my maths class... and he sits right next to me. I prayed he wouldn’t get out next to me but the universe loved to make me suffer."

"Oooh!! Is he hot?" She smirked at me like i find every guy hot like she does. I rolled my eyes.

"He's alright... I guess?” I admitted, “I mean he has really pale skin and he’s skinny."

Selena pondered for a while “Yeh same with the new guy in our classes too.” She looked back at her and smiled again, "OMG!! That reminds me of Vampire Diaries!! Pale skin and all!”

"Wait. What does?" I asked her as we started to walked.

"The pale skin!! Ahaha." She laughed.

"Oh yeh... you do know our life isn't a 'vampire movie'" I said as I air quoted the 'Vampire movie' bit.

"Ahaha!! I know, you idiot!!" She nudged me again with her pointy ass elbow.

I groaned as I rubbed my arm again with a chuckle before looking over at her, "Yeh, I'm not the idiot here." I try to hide my laugh.

"Oh whatever!!" She says to me, punching my shoulder. I’m getting abused by my friend. How cool!

"Anyways, let's go to the Library at lunch!" She said.

“I actually promised the new boy a tour.” I looked over at her and saw her mouth wide open. I followed the gaze of her eyes and looked behind me.

I saw Blake and some other boy with beach blonde hair walking the down the corridor towards their locker. I rolled my eyes before I looked back at Selena and waved my hand in front of her face.

"Earth to Selena!! Can you hear me!!"

"Oh I'm- I’m sorry Sally!! It's just...THEY ARE SO HOT!!"

"Wow. You really need to stop drooling over boys and focus on your education." I laughed at her.

"Hmm. Good tip June. But I can’t." She admitted as we both start to laugh.

"Hey- um girl I sit next to in Maths." I heard a soft voice behind me. I turned around and came face to face with Blake. Selena nudged me in the shoulder and wicks at me.

"I'll leave you two alone and I'll meet you next lesson?" Selena said. I pleaded with my eyes to not leave me alone but she walked off and smirked at me as she did.

'Well thanks for being such an awesome friend!!' I said sarcastically and rolled my eyes. I turned back to where Blake was standing with his friend (I think).

"Oh. Um, hi Blake, is it?"

"Haha yes it is. Um. I was wondering... if you could give me a tour around school now instead of at lunch." He scratched behind his neck. "Oh. Along with my friend Cameron."

He pointed to his friend who also had pale skin and some dark sunglasses on. The blonde hair falling over his eyes a little. The sun isn't even out for sunglasses. I looked at the boy confused as to why he was wearing sunglasses before nodding and looking back at Blake.

"Oh ok. Sure!! Um... let me go get my friend. I'm sure she would love to join us. I'll meet you near your lockers." I said, “Just wait here. I’ll be back!”

"Ok sure!!" He said as he walked back to his locker with his friend. I nodded as I started to walk off toward the library where Selena would be probably sticking her nose in some romantic novel. Urgh, love makes me sick in the stomach!! I don't know why but it just makes me queasy.

Blake's POV

"So.." Cameron announced as he removed his sunglasses to reveal his blue eyes, “You like that girl. Don't you?" He asked me with a small smirk on his lips.

"W-what? N-no, I don't!! What's makes you say that?" I scoffed slightly.

"Oh I don't know." He said as he thinks, "Maybe by the way you look at her. The way you get all nervous around her and your cheeks start to change colour.” He shrugged.

I scoffed, "I don't do that.”, I shaked my head, “You’re crazy, Cam.” I let out a small laugh, looking towards the direction June went hoping she’d come back quick.

"Yes you do trust me." he said, the smirk still on his lips as he put his sunglasses back on his eyes, "Anyways, how long till your girl comes back? The quicker we can get this tour over and done with the better.” He let out a small yawn before I nudged him, “She’s not my girl. Shut the fuck up.” I laughed as he shrugged and chuckled.

After a few minutes of waiting, I saw June and her friend walk towards us. In the corner of my eye, I see Cameron with his mouth wide open. I looked over at him and smirked. My turn to make fun out of him now.

"Cameron if I were you I would close my mouth so no flies get in." I said to him, keeping my smirk on my face.

"Oh um yeh... sorry but her friend is so hot!! I saw her in my English class but I never saw her clearly enough till now!” He admitted as he kept his eyes on the girl.

"Awwww!! Someone's in love!!" I teased him.

"Oh shut up Blake!" he said, clearly annoyed.

"Hey guys!!" June shouts from the other end of the corridor. She waves at us and I wave back because I'm a gentleman and it's rude not to wave back.

"Hey sorry I took long!! Anyways I would like you to meet my friend Selena! Selena, this is Shawn and-"

"OH! Is this the guy you like who sits next to you in maths?" I looked over at June and saw a shade of pink appear on her cheeks.

"Um, no Selena, it's not. I don't even know him properly." My felt me heart sink at those words but it's true she doesn't know me properly at all. I cleared my throat a little, confused as to why her words had affected me so much.

"Anyways...um, this is Cameron, his friend."

"Oh yeh. I saw Cameron in English." Selena replied looking over at Cameron.

"Oh, so he's the new boy you were on about." June smirked at her.

"Yes!! Who else is hot?!" She said before she realised what she said. The girl quickly put her hand over her mouth as soon, her eyes widened.

"Well at least someone finds me irresistible." Cameron said as he flicked his imaginary hair.

Me and June laughed at his stupid actions before I nudged him and looked back at June. Her laugh was adorable as hell, I could listen to it all day.

"Blake? BLAKE!!" Cameron appeared in front of my face stopping my train of thoughts.

"Huh um what?" I replied confused looking over at Cameron and the two girls in front of me.

"Shall we start the tour?" He questioned slowly like i couldn’t understand what he was saying. I saw a small smirk on his face but decided to ignore it.

I cleared my throat, "Oh, um yeh sure. Let's start." replied looking over at the two girls, "After you m'ladies.”, I allowed the ladies to go forward. After all they know the school more than us two.

"Haha thanks Blake. Such a gentleman aren't you." She laughed as both girls started to walk in front of us. I laugh along with her, feeling my cheeks heat up as she stared at me with those beautiful chocolate brown eyes.

'Oh my god her laugh just makes me smile and get all giddy inside and her eyes wow-“ I cut my train of thoughts as my eyes widened slightly as I realised what I thought.

'Fuck. Am I in love with her?' I asked myself before shaking my head. Cameron’s words were getting to my head. I gotta stop listening to him and his stupid words.
