"A stone?" Adam muttered, his voice laced with confusion, as he watched a pale white spherical object hovering in front of him. It looked familiar, but he couldn't quite place it. Slowly, the stone drew closer, and before he knew it, it had submerged into his chest.

"Whoa," Adam exclaimed, feeling a warm energy envelop him. His entire body began to glow with a brilliant white light

[ ????? is trying to assimilate with the Origin Bloodline ]

"What the hell was that, and why is it labeled with question marks?" Adam muttered to himself feeling frustrated and confused. He decided to let it go for now and focus on collecting the energy cores from the beasts.

Aam looked around at the scattered cores which were within the range of his attack, and as a result, all the beast's corpses were erased from existence leaving only the cores intact. Beyond the range of his attack, he saw the mangled corpses of other beasts, which were caused due to the shockwaves caused by his attack. Adam felt no sympathy for ending so many lives as they were mindless beasts maybe if they were humans he might have felt guilty

Adam bent downwards to pick up the energy core lying on the damaged ground but as soon as he touched the core, a pop-up screen appeared in front of him

[ Your Origin Physique has been activated ]

[ Origin Physique attempting to convert Energy stored within the core to Blood Essence ]

[ Would you like to convert the Energy within the core to Blood Essence and absorb it? Yes / No ]

"What?? My Origin Physique can do something like this!!?" Adam exclaimed in surprise, and his face soon turned joyful. He was worried and did not know how to increase his Blood Essence, but now the solution came knocking at his door.

"Yes," Adam confirmed, and a message appeared on his screen.

[ Your Origin Physique has converted and absorbed to Blood Essence ]

[ Your Mana Capacity has increased ]

Adam continued absorbing the energy within the cores until only a few cores remained untainted by him.

"Hmm, I should stop or I would need to hunt for more monsters for cores to bring back," Adam mumbled to himself as he looked at the small number of cores left, which was just enough to bring back to the old man

"Whoa! My stats increased by 50 points each time I level up!" Adam exclaimed, his excitement evident as he observed the significant boost to his attributes. Unsure if this was considered high compared to others, he still couldn't help but feel satisfied with the results.

Adam's gaze then shifted towards the surplus of free points he had accumulated. Contemplating whether to utilize them immediately or save them for potential emergencies, he ultimately decided it was best to hold onto them for later use. Additionally, he discovered that he could employ these free points to upgrade his skills, but for now, he lacked the necessary quantity to do so.

" Hmm, let's finish the task at hand first " Adam mumbled to himself as he quickly gathered the remaining cores and left the place to find the old man at the library

After some time Adam arrived in front of the library and saw that the old man was still engrossed in reading the dusty old book, and moreover this time he had more piles of books on the table

The old man raised his head when he heard the sounds of the footsteps approaching and saw Adam walking towards him

" Huh, brat why did you return so quickly? Did you give up on the quest?" the old man asked as he placed the book he was reading on the table and looked at Adam with questioning eyes, Adam's mouth twitched when he heard the words of the old man

" Who said I gave up on my quest, I completed the quest " Adam retorted in annoyance but the old man simply resumed reading the book that he had put down on the table

" Hmph, if it were that easy then the others would have at least dared to attempt by quest instead of ignoring the quest, go and complete the quest, shoo shoo," the old man said while signaling Adam to scram from his sights as he flipped the page of the book while Adam's eyebrows twitched in annoyance and few veins popped out in his forehead due to being ignored without giving the chance to prove the completion of the quest

" Oi, old man, look here," Adam said as he retrieved the cores from his possession and placed them on the table in front of the old man

A flicker of surprise flashed across the old man's eyes, followed by a subtle smirk as he regarded Adam.

"I knew you could complete it, but I didn't expect you to finish it so quickly," the old man commented, his smirk lingering on his face.

"Can I use the library now?" Adam inquired, his voice tinged with impatience.

"Sure, you can, but you'll only have access to the basic information," the old man responded, causing the stones and books on the table to vanish into thin air.

'I hope the information I need is included in the basic knowledge,' Adam thought to himself, nodding in understanding. He then swiftly disappeared inside the library, eager to delve into the available resources
