POV of Friedrich von Roon
Within minutes of finishing the meeting with his king, von Roon began to act by giving orders to all his officers to begin work.
His king wanted new towns that would be dedicated to agricultural production and his idea of forcibly concentrating the groups still living isolated in the reach was approved, he immediately began to order the governors of the surrounding areas to send all the small folks to the areas he was going to designate.
The reason why a military authority was taking command over construction operations was quite simple, Friedrich von Roon was the commander-in-chief of an army that had almost completely disappeared, leaving him almost without men.
With the offer of juicy payments for years of service rendered, thousands of Prussian soldiers had put away their weapons and started a new life, making a living, setting up stores with the gold they had received for their services
Leaving Roon in the obligation of having to fight to prevent the withdrawal of veteran officers, whom he considered necessary for when the army re-recruited after the first periods of assimilation of the population into Prussian culture and religion
offering promotions or promises of promotions in the future because he could not offer all corporals, sergeants, captains, promotions so that they would decide to stay serving in the army, but it was all he could do, as he was fighting against the very policies his king had stipulated
The only soldiers who were not granted the privilege of retirement were the last army recruits who had only two to four years of service in the Prussian army, but now held posts in the king's landing garrison protecting the bank and the troops on the torentine river in their fortresses.
Leaving the Prussian nobleman with a lot of time on his hands, and this same nobleman being an efficiency freak would not allow himself to be doing anything while being paid for it.
''I need someone to deliver this letter to the governor of ashford, I need him to produce agricultural equipment urgently, this request must take priority over everything else, we must seize the opportunity and apply our techniques to the westerosis to learn how to get the maximum yield from the crops'' I said handing a letter to any of the men following me.
One of my men took it and quickly ran out.
''We will take several squads of the free laborers we have working here in the capital and have them build the basic facilities before the waves of small folks start coming in looking for their new home'' I said as I kept walking.
I continued to change, but my men kept looking at each other
''What's wrong, didn't you understand my orders?'', I asked my officers.
''Herr Roon, we would be obstructing the works in the capital, we would delay the construction of the walls and it could affect the times the king expects'' said one of my officers.
''The walls are important, but seeking resources for the coffers of the kingdom are URGENT, this is an investment, you heard the king, it is necessary to start the mass production of sugar beet, the king wants to enter the market and we will do it with force, and therefore we must divert funds from less important things for projects that are urgent, do not think more, go quickly to bring about thirty thousand workers, we will ride all day if necessary, but we must start as soon as possible'' I said as I turned and continued on my way.
''Yes, Herr Roon'' said my men as they followed me and began to do my bidding.
We quickly made our way to the exit of the city and I mounted my horse and began to move to the area indicated, to build a city near the walls of Highgarden, the tyrell expelled all the peasants from the area so that the beauty of the area would not be overshadowed by the farms and the poorly built houses that the westerosis peasants usually have.
Since they only planted flowers and gardens in the area, they only threw their gold away instead of investing it in commercial enterprises or improving the professionalism of their army, but they were incompetent, what can you expect from those barbarians, it was just a matter of looking at that mace a self-satisfied fat man who only seeks to eat and steal the merits of his inferior officers.
Arriving in the area as expected there were only gardens that were to be tended by an army of servants because there was no irrigation system.
With the few men I had in my company we began to remove part of the gardens that would disturb us in the future work.
With my men, we stayed until dusk working uprooting all the plants, and when the workers began to arrive we went to prepare our tents because this would be the work of many days to fulfill the wishes of his majesty.
I had to be content that now the only military camp where I would live was a set of eighty tents where my men and I were and the tents of the free laborers, which had no order.
I could not demand discipline from a group of Westerosi laborers who worked for pay and we could move them wherever we pleased
For a generous pay of thirty silver coins every month we could make the westerosi with a smile from ear to ear working for us, unlike the other groups of workers who for twenty coins stay near their homes working
''Take the shovels and start preparing the sewage system, the rest of you move to the river and start making the irrigation channels in the indicated area, Emil you are in charge of the westerosis don't laze around'' I said to my officers.
The first three days of work were very productive, working with the first rays of the sun until sunset, working without rest for when the construction materials arrive, let's start building the houses, without wasting time
Because by the time the first group of peasants arrived we had to have some houses built, to prevent them from sleeping in the streets that were not even built.
On the fourth day we continued our work and the materials had arrived with a group of forty engineers who would be helping us from now on to make sure that everything we were doing was correct.
After correcting some preliminary plans that I had made we started to work on the first houses.
As most of the materials came in raw form, we had to process them ourselves, we had to turn the logs into planks and then any furniture we needed or interior pillars if necessary.
We had to make our own differentiated cement, the normal mixture from the Roman one, as one could use river water and the other seawater and had to be used in different constructions.
Luckily, the metal items arrived processed from ashford, the hammers, nails, axes, saws and all the tools we needed arrived processed, at least ashford fulfilled everything we asked for.
But it was only a minor inconvenience in our plan and we had to overcome it without letting it delay our plans.
The following week was when the foundations of the city were raised, the new city slowly began to take shape, we had to take a more precise approach and divide the work into sections so that everything would be more productive and the groups would only be dedicated to one thing.
In that way, we increased the speed of work considerably, as they only had to do the same work over and over again without a break, without the need to focus on other tasks.
While the work on the canals was slowly dividing the land where the seeds that the King would indicate would be cultivated into squares where we would apply the crop rotation system, when the first groups of farmers arrived we could put them to work immediately, since the tools to work the land had already arrived.
For the next month, everything was the same, only that it was no longer necessary for me to get my hands dirty helping with the work and it only required my supervision to prevent any of the masons from making a ladder in a window or a wall.
But finally the first houses had been finished, masterpieces that brought civilization to these barbaric lands, the beautiful German architecture would be a beacon in the darkness of rotten wooden houses.
Houses made to last, to withstand the inclement weather, a place where even the most barbaric of westerosis could call home, a house made of bricks, cement and steel pillars, only the almighty could destroy these houses, but he will never destroy something so beautiful.
''Then here should be the city hall, in the center, it should have a six-meter wall, so that if there is any uprising the administration can resist a siege in the short term, it would be based only with a barrack of guards, the city will only have fifty thousand inhabitants at first so we only need a thousand guards to guarantee the security in the streets'' I said while working on the plans.
''The king ordered that every city that exceeds one thousand inhabitants must have a hospital, where will we build it'?' asked an engineer.
''Considering that this street leads directly to Highgarden would be a good place to put the hospital, so it would be seen by all the merchants that pass through the area'' I answered while I continued looking at the map.
''This city will have a church?'' asked another engineer.
''Yes, they're near the mayor's office and the barracks, it is necessary to help in the conversion, besides currently the Teutonic knights are the ones who teach the children of the westerosis to read and take that opportunity to convert them, so building a church is something vital for every city'' I replied looking at the engineer
''The market near the river, I guess?'', said the same engineer.
''Exactly, most of the merchants will arrive by the river, so it would be easier for all the commercial activity to be centered in that area'' I said while thinking where to place the infrastructure to process the sugar
''Herr Roon'' said one of my soldiers at my back.
''What's wrong?'' I said without turning around.
''The first group of peasants arrived'' replied the soldier.
''How many?'', I asked
''Eighty-four'', replied the soldier.
''Finally, I will personally explain to them what will happen now'' I said turning to leave the tent.

This is a consultation, I was thinking in a pa treon, to gather funds and make more drawings since I only pay for them out of my pocket and it is rarely, since that way I can give you more visual examples of how the characters and scenes look like.
I honestly don't like to put my work behind a paywall but if by giving some advanced chapters to some, I can give drawings to everyone I think it would be worth it.
So I ask you if you would support it ?(all would be for that, drawings, since I don't want to put my work under a fee).
