"Ten..." Subaru bit her lip as she counted the remaining Mitejima's force.

At the starts, they had 16 peoples for the job, but now left with only 10 peoples (including her).

She looks at The Amawakas, only one person is still managed to fight.

The others are either dead, wounded, or incapacitated.

Thinking of incapacitated, Subaru glance toward the unconscious Ren.

"What a dead weight..." tell her, but she quickly shakes her head, "No... being able to exorcise that impurity in one attack... he's more or less capable than me" Subaru sigh.

Subaru Mitejima.

She's a girl from The Mitejima House, one of the twelve exorcists houses, like The Amawaka.

Sukuna's body trembles, many little tendrils appear and wriggling on his armor.

Unbeknownst to him, a missile is already approaching him from above.

The missile hit him, leaving a thick dust of explosion.

The dust gradually settled and showing the figure of Ryomen Sukuna, but... unfortunately it only cracks his armor.

"It's harder than I though" say Subaru looking above the Buddha statue where Ren was.

"Y... You!!" Sukuna roared, pointing his index finger toward Subaru.

"I... Kill... You!!" Shout Sukuna, as tentacles begin to wrap and form a huge blade for each arm.

Subaru jumps off the Buddha statue, and prepare another talisman.

Berserk, Ryomen Sukuna begin to run towards her, but another Mitejima squad members blocked and hold off Sukuna for reaching her.

CLANK!

The sound of metal colliding to each otherer reverberates on their ears. Four Mitejima squad members hold off Sukuna's blade for each arm.

"Go... outta... my... way!!" Sukuna then pushed the exorcists with his raw strength, completely broke their blockade.

Then an old woman appears before him, "Fuu... HA!", she hit Sukuna's chest with her palm, pushing him back.

Behind Sukuna, Yuzuru's already leaping, prepared to strike him from behind.

Unlike the previous moves, right now she's going to unleash the technique of Byakko.

Imagine the enchanted power flow to your fist, then to the tip of your fingers- and unleashed it!

"Kozan- Kagutsuchi!!"

Before Sukuna aware, Yuzuru release crescent shape shock waves.

The Mitejima squad already felt an incoming danger from Sukuna, and start to run away.

Sukuna release several tentacles from his body. The tentacle spreads out, and pierce anything in their ways.

Two unfortunate members of Mitejima Squad were pierced, while the other slightly fortunate to survive the attack.

Yuzuru, Ousaka, and four others were fortunate enough to dodge it unscathed.

"My God..." Shout another Mitejima squad member pointing at her pierced comrade.

"No... way" Yuzuru was shocked, because her comrades not far from her place were also pierced by Sukuna's tentacles.

Not only the living, the tentacles also pierced those who already dead.

The surviving members then saw their comrades, which were pierced by the tentacles, gradually become thinner like a deflated balloon.

Sukuna burped, his wound start to heal, and his armor begin repairing himself, "Mmm... what... a... feast!"

Yuzuru bite her lip, and several of Mitejima squad members grits their teeth in anger.

"Scuse me" suddenly, a girl run passing Yuzuru toward Sukuna.

"What?" Yuzuru, bewildered, as she saw Subaru start running toward Sukuna.

Sukuna squinted his eyes looking at the courageous little girl, then he retracts the tentacles, "Kill... You...", say Sukuna as he runs towards her.

"...! W- what are you doing?! Protect Subaru-sama!" Ousaka comes back to her sense, and quickly the others to protect Subaru.

The distance between Subaru and Sukuna already close.

The blades on his arms begin to change into gauntlets with long and sharp talons, imitating Kokuren Shuko (Black Gauntlets) of The Amawaka squad.

But Subaru didn't stop, in fact she starts to run even faster toward him using Idaten-fu (Fast Leg Talisman).

"Come... here... girl!!" Scream Sukuna, as he stretch out his hands.

"Subaru-sama!! Run away!!!" Shout Ousaka.

But her words fall on deaf ears, Subaru start to accelerate more and more.

And when she close enough to Sukuna, she let out a mischievous smile.

"Ora"

Subaru throw a rock toward Sukuna.

"!" Sukuna then reflectively swing his upper right arm, destroying the rock.

But unknown to him, he's already giving Subaru an opportunity.

The moment she starts throwing the rock, she already prepares the steps for victory.

"Where... is?" Sukuna look forward, but the girl just disappear, "...!!", then an ominous feeling start to itch his back.

The moment Sukuna destroyed the rock, Subaru already slip through him from below by sliding between his legs.

He then turns his head behind, and he saw Subaru holding a strange weapon.

"Catch this!" Say Subaru, as she pulls the trigger.

The projectile hit Sukuna in his forehead armor. Starting from the head, the outer layer of the armor begin to crack and fractured.

The projectile, like it was influenced by the law of the world, begin to distort Sukuna's forehead as the projectile went in.

In slow motion, Sukuna's head begin to blow off (literary) like squashed watermelon, his head, neck, and some part of the upper chest were blown off, and metallic part of his armor fractured and broken like a broken glass.

The flesh and The Metallic parts, splashed toward the surrounding.

Dyeing the ground with red like color.

Like doggy, like master. Sukuna undergo the exorcism like his dog Teke-Teke.

Just when the time to start normally, a Star mark appear on Sukuna's place, hell, even his remains is already disappear like an insignificant dust.

Two second...

Four second...

Five second had passed.

The other exorcists are still shocked by the turn of event, like they were paused by some gamer.

The anti-tank gun disappear into countless light, and Subaru start to swipe the sweats on her face.

"Whew~ finally over!" tell her, as she let out a deep breath.

The other exorcists then come to their senses. They still bewildered, after look and nods at each other, they finally started cheering.

Some exorcists sit down exhausted, some of them even to start crying.

For Ren's and Subaru's first debut battle, this is truly a big loss for each house.

"I know you can do it Su-chan" say Ousaka.

Subaru snorted, "Yeah. Who's the one screaming at mine name like I was doing something so dangerous?"

"But you're really doing something dangerous!!" Retort Ousaka.

Behind Subaru, Yuzuru, still watching.

Her eyes were wide open, then she gulped her saliva.

She knew that Subaru basically save her and the other by exorcising Ryomen Sukuna, and she is truly thankful to her.

But... a bitter taste filled her mouth, and she felt her heart aches.

Unlike her, and her comrades. She manages to exorcise Ryomen Sukuna with ease in just one attack.

So... this is her, the genius child from Mitejima... she is just like him... Seigen... sama.

Standing firm like a great pagoda, several stone spires reaching toward the hazzy-poluted sky.

Below the stone spires, it was filled with very thick green moss colored mist, obscuring the bottom of the stone spires.

Among the many stone spires, one man were standing on the peak of the tallest stone spires, his fluorescent Green eyes watching curiously toward the polluted sky.

"These feelings..."

Say the man, closing his eyes to remember.

Hearing the sound of the footstep, the man opened his eyes, and slowly turn his head behind.

"Long time no see" say the man, after looking toward the familiar figure.

"What are you doing here..." say the familiar figure.

The true appearance of the familiar figure is that of an old man.

Bald head, face full of wrinkles, thick white beard, and he's holding a cane made from tree branch just like his old and thin limbs, to help him to stand and walking.

The old man trembles, looking at the youthful appearance of his former companion.

The guts filled with hot air, and the said hot air travel to his throat, finally burning the tip of his tongue.

"Sakanashi?!" Shout the old man angrily, revealing his identity.

Sakanashi feels indifference, and didn't show any expression on his face, further agitate the temper of the old man.

Nonetheless, he replies, "Will you believe me that I'm just taking a stroll?"

"Bah!! Don't give that crap! Somebody like you wouldn't take a stroll for the sake of it!!" Sneer, the old man.

"Hmph. Maybe you're right..." say Sakanashi with flat tone.

Sakanashi then avert his gaze from his old and decrepit friend (?) Onogoro, toward the polluted sky of Magano.

His behavior, agitate further Onogoro. Just when he wanted to lash out to him, Sakanashi stop him by asking a question.

"Say... did you feel it?"

"Huh?! Feels what?!" say Onogoro with higher tone.

Sakanashi still had his poker face, from Onogoro's answer, he knew that his old friend (?) didn't know, or even feels it.

Onogoro growing impatient start to ask Sakanashi, "Feels what?! Exorcist?! Are they any exorcists this deep?! Hey! Sakanashi!!"

Sakanashi then turn his head toward Onogoro, "No, nothing... it just... I feel some nostalgic feeling"

Onogoro raised his eyebrow, he sneers at Sakanashi, "Hahaha! To think someone like you had nostalgic feeling"

Onogoro laugh, but Sakanashi didn't. Onogoro then stop, and cough because of the awkwardness.

"Then what kind of... NOSTALGIC feeling you had for, huh?! Family? Enemy? Lover? Family? Some goods? The stories that you kept secret? Which is it?"

Sakanashi close his eyes, then opens it again.

He then says, "If I had to chose, then it was a nostalgic feeling... of MYSELF"
