#22: New Days II

Just when they get out of Taigetsuro, The Amawaka squad met with a squad from The Mitejima house.

Unlike the traditional black kariginu, The Mitejima House exorcists wears white kariginu resembling Victorian style-esque shirt, and black pants.

No matter how many times I see it, their kariginu is totally lame!

Among them is a girl the same age as Ren. Ren who saw her making a sour and disgusted expression, "GEH!", he felt his breakfast which already in his stomach was crawling back up to his throat.

Ren steps back and hides behind Yuzuru.

Yuzuru and the other (excluding Ren) bow to Subaru to show respect, but The Mitejima house's squad and Subaru didn't greet or care about them and just walks to Taigetsuro.

After passing each other, Ren step forward, stop hiding, and walks beside Yuzuru.

Yuzuru glance at Ren, "Still sour about her?"

Ren didn't reply and walks faster, distancing himself and Yuzuru.

Yuzuru let out a sigh, she looks at Ren's little back, "One month and a half" tell her.

"To think it's almost the time..." say Yuzuru, looking at Ren's back.

"But, I believe Seigen-sama wouldn't let you participate either way" as she close her eye, remembering.

After the bout with Seigen, it's decided that Ren would be a temporary member of The Amawaka House.

In the previous bout, Ren shamelessly beg Seigen to let him participate, even though he was beaten by Seigen.

Seigen who had enough rather beat him down again, and after that Seigen say "One month and a half. If you can beat me, and proving yourself in Magano, I'll talk to Arima about your participation". As he walks, leaving the beaten Ren.

It's the time limit Seigen give him to proving himself to Seigen and Arima.

That's why, beside practicing for a rematch, he also needs to make achievements in Magano by accomplishing missions.

At first, Yuzuru questioning Seigen's decision, but after a brief talk with him, she accepts.

Moreover, Seigen also choose Yuzuru to trains and showing the rope to Ren surprising her.

Just like that, Yuzuru was pointed as his temporary Superior and instructor.

Like she was ordered to, Yuzuru begin to instruct and teaches Ren like Seiyouin instructor does

Beside her training, Ren also need real life experiencing The True Magano, and bought him to experiencing various mission in True Magano.

After few days of training Ren, Yuzuru realized that the majority of her instructions or trainings already been taught to him back in the mainland.

Note that her training can be categorized as rough and harsh (spartan), even by the average standard that Seiyouin student experience.

But, Ren casually follow her instructions and even called her trainings normal.

Yuzuru surprised hearing Ren's word and training result, she reprimands herself that she's underestimating the way the mainland exorcists had been taught too much.

So, Yuzuru decided to improve Ren's foundation and teach him spells that the mainland exorcists didn't know or taught.

"Scarface, is there any special training that can greatly improve my strength in a short amount of time?" Ask Ren, which irritate Yuzuru.

"Name's Yuzuru. Don't forget OR Disrespect your superior! Unless you want to be sent back to the mainland"

Ren nod and apologize, "Sorry, um... Yuzuru... san?"

Yuzuru nod, "Good. Make sure you call Seigen-sama with respect!!", insist Yuzuru.

Suddenly, the though about Seigen entering his mind, "Now that I think about it, isn't Seigen strong because he was a Ritsu? Oh! Why don't you teach me your special Ritsu training?"

Ren insists that Yuzuru give him a special training like Ritsu or Seigen does, but she refuse.

"Are you an exorcist or a murder!?" Say Yuzuru, glaring angrily at Ren.

Ren notice her gaze and shut up, "Sorry... I'm an exorcist" Ren apologize, after the whole ordeal between The Amawaka, Yuzuru and him.

Ren knows that beside Seigen, there are a lot of peoples from The Amawaka that truly hate becoming a Ritsu, or Ritsu in particular like Yuzuru.

Yuzuru nod, then tell Ren the simple reasons she doesn't want to train Ren like a Ritsu. It is because he isn't a member of Amawaka house nor other house that affiliated with them.

But also, the special training that Seigen undergo is only for a main family or an heir. So she herself doesn't know it.

"I see..." say Ren a bit dejected.

"Come, prepare your weapon" say Yuzuru while equip his enchanted weapon, ready to spar with Ren.

"Heh! Here I come!!" Shout Ren, who already equip his enchanted weapon and lunge toward Yuzuru.
