Chapter Twenty-One

Bella rushed home because of how much she missed her brother's.

She drove to work because she had plans of picking up her brother's from the airport.

She saw Mr Anderson's car parked  outside so she knew Raquel must be around. She was happy to have her around because it's been two weeks since she saw her.

"Hi guys." Bella said opening the door

"Noona, Sis, Unnie!" Jayden, Kayden and Raquel screamed in excitement as they ran to greet Bella.

"Oh my God. I really missed you guys." Bella said dropping her bag halfway as the hugged her siblings.

"Good evening Uncle Joe." Bella greeted.

"Evening my dear. How was your day?" He asked

"Went really well and yours?" Bella asked

"Went well too." Joe replied

"That case you were working on, the hearing was today right?" Bella asked

"Yes. We won the case." Joe replied confidently

"Wow. Congratulations." Bella said

"Congrats Dad." Raquel said

"Congratulations, Chukahae." Kayden and Jayden said in unison.

"You got back right on time." Joe said to Bella.

"Okay?" Bella said wondering why Joe was happy she came back on time.

"Theirs something I actually want to discuss with you guys and I might not get the chance to talk about it again if I don't say it now." Joe said nervously

"Okay?" Bella said

Jayden, Kayden and Raquel had their attention on Joe.

"Okay Dad. Tell us already...ahhhhhhh the suspense is killing." Raquel squealed

"Well the truth is that I love Vera alot and have never felt so attracted to any woman in my life like I am attracted to her." Joe said fondling with his fingers searching Bella and the others eyes but they were all quite and wanted to hear what he had to say.

"She brought me out of my shell and taught me to love again. I have come to love you guys so much as much as I love Catty and I know Vera loves Catty so much too. I love the way you guys relate with Catty like she is truly your baby sister. " Joe said nervously

"So what are you trying to say?" Bella asked for more clarification because she was lost

"I would like to marry Vera but I won't do it without you guys permission." Joe said nervously

This was the best news they all heard in ages. They've been expecting this great news for a while now but it never came. They all couldn't hide their excitement.

"Ahhhhhhh." Bella and Raquel screamed at the same time hi fiving each other in a circle motion severally

"Finally! Yes! " Jayden and Kayden said in unison.

Bella knew she wanted to be a part of the whole process so she decided to strike a deal with Joe although he was still in shock because he wasn't expecting them to take the news so well.

"Am actually not against you getting married to my mum." Bella said and all eyes were on her

"But on one condition." She finished her statement

"Okay, what's that?" Joe asked

"I get to plan the proposal."Bella said

"No!" Jayden, Kayden and Raquel said in unison and Bella was so shocked with their outburst

"Ah ah. But why guys?" Bella asked

"You're always busy and we simply can't put you in charge of something that important." Kayden said

"Yes he's right." Jayden added

"Although Unnie is usually busy but one thing I know is that she's responsible and she can achieve anything she wants to with or without her tight schedule. Raquel said defending Bella.

"Thanks baby for saying that." Bella said

"The wedding has to be this December though." Bella said

"But tomorrow is first of December?" Joe said confused

"Yes but we can still fix something." Bella replied

"Yes I totally agree with Unnie." Raquel said

"I think Bella is right. Let's have the wedding before the year runs out." Jayden said

"First we need to get a ring and plan the proposal." Kayden said

"Can I call you Dad since you're going to be my stepfather soon." Kayden asked out of the blue.

"Yes dear. You can call me Dad but not until after she says yes."  Joe replied

"But why is that though." Kayden asked feeling disappointed.

"Are you dumb or stupid?" It's because you'd ruin the surprise Pabol." Jayden replied

"Tsk...tsk.. tsk..." Bella sucked her teeth shaking her head

"Anyways let's start pla....."

"Am home." Vera said badging in cutting Bella's statement off.

"Mom!, Oma, Aunt Vera" Kayden, Jayden and Raquel shouted as they give Vera a warm welcome.

"Babe." Vera greeted Joe with a peck on the lips.

"Ella, Chris is waiting for you outside." Vera said

"You didn't meet me at home mum. Am not home." Bella said

"She's home but avoiding you.!" Raquel shouted so Chris could hear and Bella rushed to cover her mouth

"Baby!" Bella said with a puppy face

"Why are you avoiding him though?" Raquel asked

"Are we missing out on something?" Kayden asked

"Yes Noona. Why is Chris here and why is everyone so calm about it?" Jayden asked.

"Well I think Unnie is avoiding Chris because she's so scared of her feelings for him." Raquel squealed.

"Baby you know that's not true. I don't have feelings for him." Bella said in a very defensive tune

"Wo! Wo! Wo! That's the first stage of love sis! You're in denial state." Jayden said

"She can't know the stages of love since she as never been in a relationship." Kayden said

"I hope she doesn't die a virgin." Jayden said

"Tsk... Tsk...tsk... As young as I am I have a boyfriend." Raquel said unconsciously

"Baby! What! " Everyone shouted with wide eyes.

"You're only Sixteen. I need to meet the guy immediately!" Joe said glaring at her

"Okay Dad." Raquel said.

"I'll be right back." Bella said opening the front door.

Chris black sapphire metallic BMW M8  competition convertible was parked outside when Bella got out. Chris was resting his back on his car and he was looking down so he didn't notice Bella.

"Mr Hampson?" Bella called out bringing him to his senses.

His next action made Bella speechless
