Chapter Twenty-four

Bella woke up to the buzzer of her phone. It was Mr Anderson calling.

"Hello Uncle Joe." Bella said still half asleep.

"Hi Ella.Happy new month darling." Joe said

"Happy new month Uncle Joe." Bella replied still half asleep

"I called regarding what we spoke about yesterday." Joe said

"Oh the proposal?" Bella said fully awake.

"Yes." Joe replied.

"Do you have the ring ready." Bella said

"I don't know her ring size and I don..."

"She wears size nine."Bella said cutting him half way

"Ok thanks. So do you have any idea about the proposal?" Joe asked wondering if she had anything planned out.

"Yes I do. Mum as always wanted to get proposed to at the beach so I guess I'll find a way to take her to the beach." Bella said

"Let's tell her it's a girls time out." Raquel said

"Hi baby. Happy new month." Bella greeted

"Annyeonghaseyo Unnie! Wishing you the same." Raquel greeted collecting the phone from her Dad.

"I just sent you some engagement ring designs. Please check and let me know what you think." Joe said

Bella immediately put her phone on speaker and went straight to her inbox. One particular design caught her eyes. The twins badged into her room before she could send the design she picked.

"Noona let's plan mum's proposal." Jayden said jumping on the bed

"Let's call uncle Joe to discuss the preparation." Kayden said

"Hi guys." Joe greeted bringing them to the realisation that he was on call

"Oppa's." Raquel greeted.

"Hi baby. Hello Uncle Joe." Jayden greeted

"Good morning Dad. Hi baby sister." Kayden greeted

"We were actually talking about the proposal and Bella already gave me a perfect idea. I already sent some ring designs to her

They eventually agreed on a Tiffany Soleste Pear-shaped Halo Engagement Ring with a Diamond Platinum Band and Joe went ahead to place an order for it. Although the ring was somehow expensive but he believed nothing was too expensive when it comes to Vera.

Bella called Bianca, Alexia and Liam to give them the update so they could help her in planning and they were both really helpful.

Alexia and Liam promised to help with the decorations since they were both talented when it comes to decoration.

Bianca arranged for violinists that'd spice up the event. Bianca decided to bake the I said yes cake.

Bella and Raquel planned how they'd drag their mum out if the house.

Bella decided to have Raquel come over since it was Bella's free day.

Bella and Raquel decided to talk about going to the beach in presence of Vera. Vera was making launch when Raquel and Bella walked in. They both sat on the kitchen island

"Unnie are you free this weekend?" Raquel asked

"Yes baby. I have a Flight tomorrow morning so I should be free by weekend if my schedule doesn't get changed." Bella replied with a smile

"But why did you ask baby?" Bella asked acting totally clueless

"I was wondering if we could go to the beach. Have always wanted to go to the beach but I never had the chance to. Raquel said honestly

"I can go with you even if Ella is busy." Vera said and the girls knew their trick had worked

"Yay! Raquel shouted in excitement hugging Vera.

"I said am free mum. Let's all go together. I'll book a resort for us girls." Bella said.

"Ok dear. I can't wait. Vera said with a smile

Bella's phone rang. It was Bella's boss Rose Henshaw calling.

"Hello Miss Walter." Rose said

"Mrs Henshaw." Bella greeted

"Theirs a change in your flight schedule tomorrow. The details has already been forwarded your email. Be early." Rose said

"Ok ma'am. I'll check." Bella replied before dropping the call.

Bella was shocked by what she saw in her email. It was her first international flight outside Europe. Her flight was scheduled to leave for New York tomorrow morning.

"Ahhhhhhh." Bella screamed in excitement. Vera and Raquel were shocked.

"Ella!" Vera shouted glaring at her daughter.

"Unnie kin Cha Na?" Raquel asked if Bella was okay.

"Yes baby am fine. I just got scheduled for my first international trip outside the continent." Bella said in excitement.

"Wow! Where are you flying to?" Raquel asked.

"New York city." Bella replied proudly.

"Congratulations darling." Vera said

"Thanks mum." Bella replied.

Bella knew she had less time to pack so he headed straight to her room leaving her mum and Raquel in the kitchen

The next morning

Bella's flight was scheduled to leave for New York in an hour. She was super excited because she has never been to New York City before and she knew she'd definitely  explore New York for a while before she return. The flight was scheduled to leave at 10am and they will be returning to London by 8pm tomorrow , that was more than enough time for her to explore.

She got to the Tarmac at exactly 9:30am only for her to discover that she'd be riding a private jet. Bella knew she was on board but she never could have imagined that she'd  be riding in a private jet. She was super excited to ride in an exotic airbus.

The passenger had already boarded the plane before before came out of the rest room. She has always been the type that would visit the rest room before each flight.

Bella could sense a familiar cologne when she got out of the rest room. It felt really familiar because it was a very unique scent and she knew who it was immediately the smell registered in her brain.

"Christian! How on earth did I not see this coming, I should have known immediately they changed my flight schedule abruptly plus I wasn't even qualified to ride in a private jet yet." Bella muttered feeling restless.

The memory of that night they kissed came flashing back into her memory and she felt heat all over her body.

"What on earth is this guy doing to me?" She thought in her head

She knew she needed a few minutes to organise her thoughts. She instantly turned to go back to the restroom but she stopped abruptly when she heard Chris voice.

"Bella why do you always run away from me?" Chris asked.

Bella knew she had already been caught red handed in the process of trying to escape so she had to wiggle herself out of the embarrassment with a smooth lie.

"I wasn't trying to run Mr Hampson, I wanted to go and switch off the light in the restroom, I forgot to put it off when I was leaving." Bella said thinking was a smooth lie.

Bella herself was truly amazed with how smooth the lie she just told was and funny enough Chris seemed to believe it.

"Is their anything I can help you with ? Bella asked with a bright smile.

"Yes Miss Walter." Chris replied returning the smile

"Okay what's that?" She asked.

"Keep me company." he replied not taking his eyes of Bella.

Bella felt really uncomfortable and honestly didn't like where the whole thing was going.

Bella just wanted to run very far away from him. Chris was her boss and he is the most wanted bachelor in the whole of continent.

"Why is he asking me to keep him company though Of all the girls in the whole world who would have gladly do that or even jump to his bed." Bella thought in her head with an eye roll.

The taught of girls swooping around Chris disgusts Bella but still obliged to his request and  quietly sat in one of the chairs. She made sure she didn't keep eye contact no matter what although she felt Chris eyes on her the whole time . Bella brought out her Air Pod and phone to listen to music.

"When will you stop avoiding me?" Bella heard Christian's voice but I acted like she couldn't hear him and she started moving her head like she was listening to music.

"I know you can hear me Christal." Chris said but Bella continued with what she was doing.

"I know you lied about wanting to go and off the light in the restroom because the lights are automatic and am sure you're not dumb enough not to realise that the light has sensor." Chris said with a smirk

At this point Bella was already fuming with anger that he insulted her again. She was angry and embarrassed at the same time.

"I know you're not listening to music either because somehow your phone got connected to my Air Pod." Chris said with a smirk.

Bella immediately removed the Air Pod's from my ears and stood up out of embarrassment.

"I need to get the hell out of here" Bella thought in her head.

Bella knew that if they were to be on land she would have stomped out of the car or wherever they are by now but the case was different because they were somewhere in the sky and Bella was not so crazy to the extent that she'd get out of the plane. She was on her way to the rest room when she felt Chris hands on her wrist.

"Christal talk to me please. Stop running away from me. Chris said with pleading eyes.

Bella froze for a while because she could feel how sincere he was . She heard it in his voice even though she couldn't see his face.
