Chapter Twenty-eight

"So answer the second question Chris. What did you mean when you said you took away my innocence." Bella asked hoping it's not what she thinks.

The look on Chris face just confirmed her suspicion because he suddenly became so pale, scared and unhappy for someone who was always confident. He was always scared whenever it comes to Bella because he was scared of losing her.

"I didn't know you were under aged at the time, in fact I never knew you were still in high school because you looked really matured for your age and only adults were invited to the event and I didn't think you would be under eighteen." Chris said not having the courage to look at Bella.

"When a drink was offered to you , you didn't mind and just went with the flow. We were both drunk and I honestly can't remember how we got to the hotel room or what happened afterwards. I just woke up and discovered that we were both naked and I saw blood on the sheet so I knew you were a virgin." Chris said breaking out in sweats while Bella was shocked by the revelation. She had always believed that she was a virgin and she never would have thought that she lost her virginity to someone she didn't even love at the time. She had always wanted her first time to be special.

At first she thought Chris was just pulling her legs but judging from his actions and how he couldn't look her in the eyes she knew he was telling the truth.

"I went to the bathroom to freshen up but when I came out of the bathroom you were no longer there. I loved what we had. I was going to buy us breakfast but you were no where to be found and I didn't even know your real name, you only told me to call you butterfly. I looked everywhere for you before I found Bianca." Chris said with vulnerability.

Bella looked shocked and confused at the same time at the mention of Bianca.

"Bianca knew about it?" Bella asked feeling disgusted with herself.

"Yes she did, I had to explain everything to her in details since she told me she was your best friend and you also spoke about her the day we met."

"I wanted her to know why it was important to see you. I looked for you for good six months before I found Bianca. She told me you got into an accident on your way home from the hotel and lost your memory of two months prior to the accident." Chris said looking at Bella

"She told me the doctor asked them not to stress you so she didn't let me meet you." Chris said with his voice almost breaking.

"But how come nobody ever told me any of this ? I can't remember waking up at the hospital or anything. Have been leaving like a normal person for the past six years not knowing that some part of my memories are gone." Bella wondered.

Bella already had tears in her eyes. She felt betrayed even though she knew they hid everything from her out of love.

"Have always thought I was still a virgin, Have always been proud of myself for that not knowing that I actually gave my dignity away when I was seventeen and the worse part of the issue is that I can't even remember." Bella muttered

"What if you were some irresponsible guy? I would never have found out. It would have remained a mystery or what if I had gotten pregnant?" Bella muttered with tears rolling down her cheek.

Bella was crying profusely like her life depended on it, she felt disgusted with herself.

Chris couldn't say anything but walked closer to her to hug her

"DO NOT TOUCH ME CHRIS!  You bloody Rapist." Bella shouted glaring at Chris.

"What?" Chris said taken aback by Bella's statement. He looked really shocked.

"I didn't rape you Bella and you know it. I understand that you are very angry right now but calm down." Chris said with concern lacing his voice

"Don't tell me to calm down you bloody Pedophile! Get the hell away from me!" Bella said shouting.

Chris was scared to death that he could loose her for real this time if he didn't do anything.

Chris held her firm on her shoulders, looked her straight in the face and shook her .

"Get a hold of yourself Christabella." Chris said with a firm voice.

"I understand that it's really hard for you right now but please calm down Bella. We were all scared that you'd  react this way if you found out, that was why we kept it a secret from you."

" It wasn't like I didn't want to be with you after the whole incident. I wanted to , I wanted to be with you every single day. I missed you like crazy. It felt like we've known each other for long, it didn't feel like a one night stand to me. It was really special."

Believe me when I say I love you Bella , have loved you for the past six years even when I couldn't see you physically or hold you and am definitely not going to stop now that I have been reunited with you." Chris said cubing Bella's face with his right hand . He made her look him straight in the eyes and wipe her tears before kissing her forehead.

"Am sorry." Chris muttered pulling her in for a hug. Bella had a rollercoaster of emotions going on in her mind.

She felt so disappointed in herself. She wasn't happy because she knew if she was truly involved in an accident then her mum would have really been scared.

Bella thought back to when Chris kidnapped her and finally understood why Bianca didn't say a word about it. Although Chris told her everything that happened she still found it hard because they were not in her memory.
