Chapter Twelve

Bella got to her car feeling out of breath. She rested her head on the steering wheel to catch her breath. She couldn't believe what had just happened.

"What does this guy take me for?"

" Why did I let him kiss me?"

"Why did I kiss him back?" She said hitting her head on the steering wheel as she questioned herself.

She paused for a while, sat up and touched her lips. She could still feel his soft lips on hers and somehow she liked it.

"Am so stupid." She said hitting her head on the steering wheel.

"Ouch, that hurts." She said rubbing her forehead.

Bella heard her phone ring. It was her mum calling.

"Ella where are you?" Her mum said

"Sorry mum, I'll be right there." She said

"No don't come, just come to Dallas Restaurant. You know the place right?" Her mum asked.

"Yes. I do." She replied

"Good then." Her mum said dropping the call.

Another call came in before Bella could start the engine. It was from Bianca.

"Hey B! What's up?" Bella said.

"Congratulations girl. Am super proud of you darling." Bianca exclaimed.

"Congratulations Ella." Austin said

"Thanks guys." Bella replied with excitement.

" Am sorry I couldn't make it to your graduation, my morning sickness has been so unbeara.....uh..." Bianca didn't finish her statement before rushing to the bathroom to throw up.

"We will talk to you later." Austin said before ending the call abruptly to attend to his wife.

Bella connected her phone to her stereo so she could listen to music.

Bella sang along to  Black pink, Ice cream.

Bella decided to put a call through to her mum immediately she arrived at the restaurant.

"I'm here mum." Bella said

"Tell the reception that the reservation is under Mr Anderson." She said

"Ok mum"  Bella replied.

"Booking is under the name Anderson." Bella told the receptionist

"The third room on the first floor by the left." The receptionist said.

"Thanks" Bella said as she headed up the stairs.

Bella's mum,Raquel and Mr Anderson were already in the room before she came in.

"Surprise." They all shouted in unison as Bella open the door. She was welcomed with shinny petals and balloons. There was Champaign on the table and the room was well decorated. It was simple yet beautiful.

Bella was astonished with the surprise and she couldn't stop her tears. She hugged her mum, Mr Anderson and Raquel.

"Thanks guys. This means so much to me." She said with a smile.

"I would have loved to become a flight stewardess like you but Na I'll pass. Raquel said

Everyone was stunned by her sudden comment.

"And why is that baby?" Bella asked

"No reason, I just want to be a lawyer like my Dad." Raquel said

"Awwn, that so sweet of you darling." Bella's mum said smiling

"Thanks Aunt Vera." Raquel said

"You're welcome my darling." Bella's mum replied.

A waitress walked in with a tray full of different dishes.

"Thank you." Bella said as the waitress dropped a plate on the table.

They were welcomed by the sweet aroma of sea food, fried rice, chicken and fried plantain.

"Oh this looks yummy." Raquel said eyeing the food.

"Yes baby it smells delicious. I just hope it tastes as good as it smells." Bella said

" There food here is really nice." Mr Anderson said

"Yes, you guys should try it." Bella's mum said taking a spoon to serve the food.

"O M G! This really tastes good." Bella said savouring the taste of the fried rice.

Beep! Bella got a notification on her phone. It was from Hampson Airways.

It read.

Hampson Airways: Job Offer

Hello Bella Walter,

I am pleased to inform you, on behalf of Hampson Airways, that you have been selected as a Flight attendant. Congratulations!

Cough! Cough! Bella choked on her food after reading the message. Raquel and Bella's mum immediately stood up to get her water while Mr Anderson patted her back.

She was alright after a while and screamed. She couldn't help the excitement.

"Ella what on earth is wrong with you." Her mum said glaring at her

"Hampson Airways just offered me a job mum!" Bella said in excitement.

"Really?" Seriously?" Raquel and Bella's mum said in unison.

"Yes guys." Bella said showing them the notification.

" Congratulations dear" Mr Anderson said with a smile.

" You're finally going to work at your dream company." Raquel said with excitement.

"Yes darling your hard work finally paid off" Bella's mum said

"Yes mum. "Bella said smiling.

Bella opened the family group chat she created for herself and her brother's and sent the notification.

Jayden's video call came in almost immediately that she sent she message.

"Chukahae Noona. Jayden shouted while Kayden came to bounce on him.

"Congratulations sis." Kayden said

"Thanks guys. Bella said smiling at her brothers.

" Annyeonghaseyo Oppa. Raquel said

"Baby what's up, how are you doing?" Jayden said

" Hi baby." Kayden said

"Am fine Oppa and you?" She asked

"We are fine." Jayden and Kayden answered in unison.

" I really miss you guys. Unnie doesn't have my time." She said with a puppy face

"Am sorry baby." Bella said feeling guilty.

"We miss you too baby." Jayden and Kayden said in unison.

"When are you guys coming home? She asked

"We will be home for Christmas baby." Jayden said

"Where are you guys?" Kayden asked

"We are at Dallas Restaurant, we decided to surprise Ella with a family launch. We miss you guys." Mr Anderson said smiling...

" You definitely owe us one." Kayden said

"Where mum by the way?" Jayden asked.

"Hi guys." Bella's mum said as Bella handed her the phone.

" Mum you look super gorgeous." Kayden said

" Yes mum, even better than the graduant." Jayden said

" You guys know that's not true. Raquel countered .

"Okay! Okay baby we all know we can't win against you." Jayden said

" Mum please don't forget us o" Kayden said

Bella couldn't help but roll her eyes.

" Don't worry love I won't. Bella's mum said.

Another call came in. It was from Alexia so Bella's mum handed her phone back.

"Sorry guys, I have another call coming in. I'll talk to you guys later." Bella said

" Okay bye everyone(guys) Jayden and Kayden said in unison.

"Bye." Everyone answered before Bella dropped the call to pick Alexia's call

"Hi Alex." Bella said.

"Where on earth are you girl? She asked

" Am at Dallas Restaurant with my family. What's up." Bella asked

" Did you get any message from Hampson Airways?" Alexia asked.

"Yes I did few minutes ago and you." Bella replied

"I just did girl!!!!!" Alexia screamed into the phone. Her voice was so loud that Bella had to remove the phone from her ear.

"You're loud gurl." Bella said laughing

"Congratulations to us baby gurl" Bella said

"Yes darling congrats" Alexia replied

"What about Liam?" Bella asked

"I haven't spoken to him." Alexia said

"Do you think it's okay to call him?" Bella asked

"I freaking called your ass girl, I don't think it's a bad idea." Alexia said

"Okay then. I'll call him." Bella said

"I really hope he gets employed at Hampson Airways. I can't wait to have our complete squad on board." Alexia said

"Me too girl." Bella replied

"Alright boo.Call him and let me know if she got picked too." Alexia said

"Okay. I'll call you back." Bella said before hanging up.

"She got employed too right?" Bella's mum asked.

"Yes mum." Bella replied with a smile.

"I need to call Liam." Bella said.

"Finish your food first. Bella's mum said glaring at her.

She quickly got back to the business of finishing her food because she wouldn't dare disobey her mum.

Bella decided to text Liam instead of call.

"Hi Liam , what's up.? Bella asked

"Am good,you?" Liam replied

"Good too. Any message from Hampson Airways? Bella asked

"No and you?" Liam replied

"Yes, I got it few minutes ago. Alex got hers too few minutes ago." Bella said

"Congratulations to you both." Liam replied

"Thanks dear. I believe yours is coming too. Don't loose hope. Bella said

"Thanks dear. I actually got an offer from Zurich Airways though. Liam replied

"Oh wow. That's great news but I really wish you'll get from Hampson Airways because if you don't I'll really miss you.

"We can always hang out." Liam said

"Yes you're right. Bella replied

"Alright. TTYL." Liam said

"Ok dear. Bye." Bella replied and decided to text Alexia

"Hey babe." She said

"What's up." Alexia replied

"Good and bad news which one do you want to hear first?"Bella asked

"Bad one first. Alexia said.

"He didn't get an offer from Hampson Airways however he got one from Zurich Airways." She said.

"Awwwwn!" Alexia replied with crying emoji

"It's getting late, let's go home." Bella's mum said

"TTYL" Bella texted Alexia before standing up from the table.

Mr Anderson settled the bill before they left the restaurant.
