Chapter Thirty

Bella rode back to the hotel in Chris car. The drive down to the hotel was really awkward because Bella became very uncomfortable been around Chris after she found out about what had happened in the past.

Chris asked if she was alright when he noticed her countenance. She told him she was okay and that was the only conversation they had.

Brianna got back to my hotel room  around 4pm. She decided to take a two hours nap before leaving for the airport by 7pm although the airport was not far from the hotel. It's just was about five minutes drive from the hotel.

Bella's alarm went off at exactly 6:15pm. She was really reluctant to stand up but she knew she had to get dressed. She heard a knock on her door and Bella went to get the door.

It was Alexia and Nadia. They were already dressed in their uniforms which came as a surprise to Bella.

"Ella give us the full gist." Nadia said making herself comfortable on the couch.

"Yes Christal spill." Alexia added sitting on the bed.

"How did you meet Mr Hampson. Everyone knows you guys are a thing even though you try so hard to hide it." Nadia said .

Bella heard another knock on the door before she could answer the question. It was Lillian and she was fully dressed as well.

"I never knew you ladies love gossip this much. I mean you are fully dressed two hours before the flight." Bella said laughing.

"As you ladies can see I just woke up so I need to get dressed as well. I'll tell you what you guys need to know on board. I mean we still have eight good hours to gist." Bella said shaking her head and smiling before heading to the bathroom.

The flight back took off at exactly 8pm New York time . Bella flew back sitting with the other attendants mainly because they were waiting to hear the gist of how she met Chris.   What she doesn't understand was why everyone of them believed that Chris was her boyfriend.

She told them how she met Chris six years ago leaving the one night stand part out of cause and how they  met again when she bumped into his car close to a year ago.

Nadia told Bella that Chris had told Mrs Henshaw the head flight attendant that he was her boyfriend but she didn't know it yet.

Bell got  to understand why all her colleagues gave her cold shoulders .

They all believed that she was chosen to join the team because she was in a romantic relationship with Chris. She finally understood why most of them hated me.

"So you were the girlfriend he came for on the day you graduated." Lilian said smiling.

"Mr Hampson must really like you." She added

"Why do you think Mr Hampson likes me." Bella asked Lilian wondering if it was obvious that he liked her.

"Well isn't it obvious? Everyone knows  Christian Hampson is cold and doesn't smile but when it comes to you he's totally different." Lillian said

"Have never seen that guy smile for once since have been working with Hampson Airways for the past 4 years but he didn't just smile today, he freaking laughed and cracked jokes . If you still can't see how much he likes you then....

"YOU ARE BLIND!" Lilian,Liam and Alexia said in unison completing Nadia's statement.

Bella was so shocked that everyone knew he liked her except her. She could feel how hot her cheek was because she was blushing really hard so she decided to change the topic

"So Alexia what was that with Princely. You know the eye contact you guys shared, the blushing and I even caught you guys holding hands at Brooklyn bridge." Bella said wiggling her eyebrows.

Alexia's cheek was so red because of how hard she was blushing, she must really like that pilot.

"Well after we left the bar yesterday, one thing led to another so we kissed and we ended up having a hot make out session in his room." Alexia said

Alexia face was so red and every other person had a shocked expression on their faces because they never saw that coming.

"Oh wow Alexia you're really something." Liam said with wide eyes.

"I know you like Nadia so suck it up and just tell her. Although I just did." Lillian said rolling her eyes with a shrug.

Liam looked so embarrassed and could no longer maintain eye contact with Nadia.

"Is that true Liam? Nadia asked studying his face.

"Yes it's true, have actually had a crush on you since the first time I saw you at our graduation party but I wasn't man enough to tell you."

But how did you know I like her?" He asked facing Lilian

"Wasn't it so obvious? Lilian replied

"And you're welcome by the way." She said winking.

Nadia didn't say anything. I guess she was still in shock or she was too shy to say anything but I really hope things work out well for the both of them.

Bella tried as much as possible to avoid Chris throughout the ride and she appreciated the fact that Chris didn't force her to sit with him like he did when they were going to New York.

Alexia and Nadia told Bella that Chris had ask of her when they went to serve him but aside that he didn't look for her.

He knew she needed time to process everything that happened so he decided to give her space but he wasn't planning on giving her too much space.

A part of him was happy that he was able to lift the burden of hiding thd truth of what happened from Bella. He was glad because he got to tell her himself. He was ready to accept Bella's decision about their relationship. Although he really wanted Bella but he knew he couldn't force her to reciprocate his feelings.

He was only relying on one thing to get on Bella's good side again and that was time.
