Chapter Thirty-seven

Bella told her mum and the others about the dinner date she had with Neil. Alexia and Liam were still very much mad at her for not telling them about what happened in Birmingham.

Alexia became more pissed when she saw pictures of the bruises on Bella's phone. She immediately airdropped the pictures to her own phone without Bella's knowledge.

Bella decided to wear a mid thigh golden deep v neck gown that exposed a soft rounded boobs slightly,  making the cleavage more defined. She packed her her up in ponytail and did a mild makeup. She decided to wear a gold drop ear ring, a black silhouette heels and a black purse to top up her look.

Neil knocked at Bella's door few minutes to eight. He wore a grey suit and a blue shirt. Bella opened the door with a bright smile.

"Hi Bella." Neil greeted with a wide smile.

"Hello." Bella replied returning his smile before stepping out of her room.

"Shall we?" Neil said.

"We shall." Bella replied with a smile as they made their way to Neil's white 2020

Audi R8 spyder. Bella was wowed by the exterior design of the car. It was such a beautiful sight.

"Wow! You have a lovely car." Bella said to Neil.

"Thanks Bella." Neil replied with a smile.

Neil got a call from an unknown caller and he decided to pick on the second ring.

"Is she now in your car?" The unknown caller asked.

"Yes." Neil answered watching Bella with a smile.

"Ok good. Make sure everything goes as planned." The unknown caller said.

"Yes I will." Neil said

"Okay. I believe you know what to do. I'll call you later." The unknown caller said.

"Yes. Yes. I'll talk to you later." Neil said before dropping the call.

Bella felt uncomfortable listening to Neil's conversation. She believed the conversation felt fishy.

"That was my aunt." Neil said with a smile.

"Oh okay." Bella said with a nod before tightening her sit belt.

Neil drove to one of the fine restaurant's around. Bella really enjoyed the food and she really enjoyed Neil's company. She liked that he was super jovial and fun to be with.

They spent about three hours at the restaurant before Neil drove them back to Westbengal.

The next morning Bella went to her mum's room to prepare for the boat cruise. Luckily the weather wasn't too cold. Bella gave her mum the gown she had gotten for her. Luckily Vera really loved the gown. Bella's phone rang after a while. It was Chris call.

"Hi babe." Chris greeted.

"Hello." Bella replied.

"Can you step out please. I don't want to bump into Aunt Vera by mistake." Chris said with a smile.

"Sure." Bella said standing up to go out.

"Where are you going." Vera asked.

"Out." Bella said walking out of the door.

Chris drove his Black 2021 range rover evoque to Westbengal. Bella was on her way to see Chris when she saw Neil.

"Hi babe." Neil greeted hugging Bella before kissing her on the cheek. The action made Bella feel uncomfortable so she tried to break free from the hug.

The first Bella saw was Chris. She knew she was in a compromising situation with Neil but she also knew that she never defined her relationship with Chris so she just smiled. Neil acted like he didn't see Chris and just spoke to Bella.

"I enjoyed our time together last night"Neil said with a smile pulling Bella in for a side hug.

Bella and Chris couldn't take their eyes of each other.  Bella noticed that Chris countenance had changed and she knew what Chris was capable of doing so she tried to wiggle out of Neil's grip and she succeeded but before she could say a word Chris had already stormed off in annoyance.

"Chris wait." Bella said but Neil held her hand but she broke free and ran after Chris but before she could catch up with him he had already gotten into his car and drove off.

Bella tried calling him severally but he had blocked her number. She felt the need to explain to Chris. Somehow she didn't want him to misunderstand the situation. She wanted to explain herself but he didn't give her the chance. Bella felt the presence of someone. She looked back to see Neil which got her really angry.

"Why did you do that?" Bella asked glaring at Neil.

"Do what." Neil asked confused.

"Why did you hug me. I don't think I gave you the permission to randomly hug me or kiss me on any part of my body talk less of my cheek." Bella said glaring at Neil

"What's  your relationship with him that got you so worked up." Neil said studying Bella's face

"My relationship with him is none of your freaking business." Bella replied with a glare.

"Am sorry okay... I didn't mean to just hug or kiss you out of the blue. I just that after last night we were no longer stranger's." Neil said looking apologetic

"Well it's fine. Am sorry I took out my frustration on you." Bella apologized.

"No it's fine. He must mean so much to you for you to be this mad at me." Neil said with a smile.

Bella just bite her lips slightly before smiling.

"When are you going back?" Neil asked.

"Very early tomorrow morning." Bella said with a smile.

"Okay then. Can I have you number so I can call anytime am in London?" Neil asked with a friendly smile.

"Yeah sure." Bella said motioning for him to pass his phone while he obliged.

"Was that not Christian Hampson?" Neil asked

"Yes. He his why do you ask? Bella asked pressing her number into the phone before passing the phone back to Neil.

"Wow. I don't think I can compete with him." Neil said with a small smile as he collected the phone.

"I don't think I understand what you mean by that." Bella said with a smile.

"Am sure you understand." Neil said smiling.

"Sir Neil your attention is needed on the fifth wing please." A staff of Westbengal said.

"I'll be right there." Neil replied.

"I have to run now. I'll call you." Neil said with a smile before walking away while Bella went her way too.
