Chapter Thirteen

Bella and the rest got back to the packing lot.

"Unnie can I ride in your car? Am tired of been the third wheel" Raquel said with a smirk.

" Sure baby." Bella said smiling and shaking her head at the same time.

"Drive safely girls." Bella's mum said before she got into Mr Anderson's car.

"Ok mum, we will." Bella said getting into her car.

Bella started the car and was driving in complete silence. Raquel decided to plug in her phone to reduce the silence. The both of them were still not used to each other. Raquel saw Bella as the elder sister she never had and Bella also saw her as a younger sister she never had. It has always been her and her brother's but she never really had time to bound with Raquel.

"Do you hate me?" Raquel suddenly asked out of the blue.

Bella was really dazed with her question. She took a glance at Raquel before focusing on the road.

"See? I said it you hate me." Raquel said almost at the brim of tears.

"Oh my God , baby no.  I don't hate you. I could never hate you. Bella said trying to focus on the road and Raquel at the same time.

"Then why do you always avoid me?"  Jay and Kay usually talk to me." She said trying to keep her tears from falling.

Bella had to park the car because she wouldn't want a situation whereby she'd get them into an accident.

"Catty." Bella said reaching for her hands.

"I don't hate you Catty, in fact I love you as much as I love my brothers. All our parents aren't officially married yet but I see you as a sister. " Bella said smiling

"Really?" Raquel squealed.

"Yes baby." Bella replied with a smile.

"But baby I need you to understand that I usually have a very tight schedule due to the nature of my job and it'll even get worse now that am officially a flight stewardess but I'll try to make out time for us. We will always have a girl time." Bella said

"Sounds good." Raquel said with excitement in her voice.

"So we good now?" Bella asked

"Absolutely." Raquel replied.

The next morning Bella was to come for her uniform at Hampson Airways.

She woke up very early because of how excited she was. She did her makeup lightly before heading downstairs for breakfast.

She brought out milk from the fridge and a pack of brawn flakes. She poured the cereal and the milk into a bowl but she lost appetite after the third spoon. She has always been the type that would loose appetite when she's under pressure.

She picked up her car key, her wallet and left.

She was about to open her car door when her mum came downstairs.

"You didn't tell me you were leaving darling." Her mum said

"I didn't know you slept in. Am sorry mum. Good morning ma." Bella said

"Good morning darling. Hope you slept well?" She asked

"Yes mum and you?" Bella asked

"Yes love. I did." She replied

"You left your phone. Vera said handing her the phone.

"Oh my, you're a life saver. Thanks mum." Bella said hugging her mum. She peeked her on the cheek before entering her car.

"Bye darling." Vera said waving at her daughter before Bella drove off.

Bella plugged her phone to the stereo

Bella heard her phone ring. It was Liam calling.

"I just got a message from Hampson Airways." He screamed into the phone as soon as Bella picked the call.

"Ahhhhhhh!" Bella screamed back.

"Congrats darling. Am super happy for you darling." Bella said

Horn! Horn! Horn! "Drive like a normal person and stop driving like a mad woman so early in the morning." An angry stranger said to Bella

"If you want to die so bad, go and die in your house and don't drag others with you." Another woman said driving off.

"When are you coming for your uniform." Bella asked Liam ignoring the angry strangers.

"Already on my way." Liam said laughing.

"Seriously?" Bella asked

"Yes." I was on my way to Zurich Airways before the message came in." Liam said

"Oh right." Bella said

Horn! Horn! "Move out of the way." An angry stranger said

"You're such a bad and reckless driver" Another driver said.

Horn! Horn!

"Can you just pass another lane, the road is big enough." Bella shouted back out of frustration.

"Go fuck yourself bitch!" Another driver said.

The road was mostly in chaos whenever Bella drove. The drivers became more frustrated with Bella because her driving became worse when Liam's call came in.

Bella got to Hampson Airways few minutes to eight. They were asked to wait till nine because director was yet to arrive.

They new employees were given their uniform. Bella really loved her Red and grey uniform. Her uniform hugged her curves perfectly and it looked really beautiful on her. She looked like a real flight stewardess now that she was in her uniform. She was really happy that she got to achieve her dream.

The director came few minutes to nine and all the newly recruited staffs were asked to assemble in the conference room for orientation.

Bella, Alexia and Liam couldn't condone their excitement. They were so happy that they all got to work at Hampson Airways.

" Good morning everyone" the director said.

"Good morning ma." All the staffs replied in unison.

"I'm Rose Henshaw. The Chief Purser of the cabin crew and this is my assistant Ella Parth. We welcome you all Hampson Airways and we hope that we all we get along really well." Rise said with a smile.

"I hope you all will work diligently for the betterment of Hampson Airways." Ella said.

The rest of the of the orientation went well. Rose and Ella showed all the newly recruited staffs around the office and to the aircrafts that they'd be dealing with.
