Chapter One

"Bella wake up it's morning are you not going to school toady? It's past 8am already" Bella heard her mum's voice. She stood up from bed, went to her bathroom to take her bath. She brushed her teeth and rushed downstairs for breakfast. "She can't be late for school today because the lecturer in charge of the course she has is very strict and she doesn't want to be on her lecturer's bad side because she needs the lecturer to give her a recommendation for her flight stewardship course at Hampton international . It has always been her dream to become a flight stewardess and she has just few months left to achieve her dream

She got to the lecture room at exactly two mins to nine thanks to Dylla her car. She decided to name her car Dylla because she saw the car as a friend. Dylla is a red 2015 Kia Picanto.

Today's class is the last class she'll be attending before her final exams. Prof Ann been the Head Of her Department and one of her lecturers makes her the best person for her recommendation letter. Although she has tried her best to gather experience by working part time as Customer care representative since her freshman year and she took an extra year studying abroad instead of going on placement. She enjoyed my study in France, there were lots of places to go. The overall experience was fun for her.

Prof Ann handed her a very nice recommendation letter after class and she's very thankful to her for that.

Bella got to Aretha Entertainment where she works as a part timer around 5pm, her been the first child of her family, she has always had to support her mum ever since her dad left them for his mistress. Her mum became a single mum of A beautiful girl which is Bella and her twins brothers. Her dad was the abusive type, he abused her mum emotionally and physically so when he left she was kinda happy.

She attended to calls and fixed lots of complaints before her shift was over. Most calls were from fans and subscribers of the company's app. She rounded up her shift and handed over to Pius her co part timer. She has always known that Pius had a huge crush on her since freshman and he even asked her to be his girlfriend some time ago but she rejected him because she really does not have the time for any relationship. She wants to focus on her life and her career.

Bella's best friend Bianca was supposed to pick her up but she got into an accident few days ago on her way to work so she had to drive Dylla ever since although she's a bad driver. She's always amazed with how she managed to get her driver's license after failing the driving test seven times.

She loves listening to music on her way home. She reached for her iPhone X and asked Siri to play her Blow my mind by Davido ft Chris Brown and while trying to connect her phone to her car stereo, she bashed someone's car from behind. An expensive looking car at that.

It's like the gods are not on her side today, aside her been able to collect her recommendation letter, today has really been a bad day for her.

She knew there was no way out of this and she's sure that even if she's to sell off all her property and her Mums the net worth can't pay for the car that she just bashed. She got out of her car and went straight on her knees, she couldn't even look up because of how scared she was. She has always heard stories of how ruthless some wealthy people can be especially when someone messes with their property.

She felt the presence of someone. "Are you okay?"

The person asked her so she summoned the courage to look up to answer "yes am fine". "But you're bleeding" the stranger replied. She didn't even notice that her nose was bleeding. He offered her his handkerchief to wipe her nose. "What a gentle man" Bella thought to herself.

"Am sorry I hit your car, I was distracted for a while, I had migraine so I was trying to reach my medication so I didn't notice your car, am sorry". She lied.

"Well you should talk to my boss and not me because am his chauffeur". The stranger said.

Bella woke up to a throbbing pain in her head. She soon realized that she was in a hospital gown and a bandage wrapped around her head. The last thing she remembered was her trying to talk to the owner of the car that she had hit.

"My God, Bella are you okay? You scared the living hell out of me." Bella's mum said. She didn't even notice her mum in the room till she asked her the question.

"Am fine Mum" Bella replied while her mum helped her sit up.

"But you don't look fine dear, the doctor said you hit your head on the steering wheel so you passed out, thank God for the gentle man that brought you in. He said you don't have to pay him for the car you bashed. " Bella's mum said

Bella found it really hard to believe that she couldn't wrap her head around the information her mum just passed across. She felt so indebted to the unknown gentleman .

"Mum do you know his name or anything?" She asked her mum

"No darling he didn't say. " Her mum replied

The doctor went in to check up on Bella and had her admitted. He said they had to put her under watch for a minimum of 24hours so she decided to sleep.

She woke up around 7am because a nurse came to check how she s doing.

It's a good thing the gentle man that took Bella to the hospital was kind enough to get her phone from the car. She didn't notice the phone on the bedside till she heard it ring.

She checked the caller ID but it was from an unknown caller so she decided to ignore.

The person called again after a few minutes so she decided to pick up on the second the ring and allowed the person to speak first.

"Hello Miss Walter, this is a call to inform you that your car has been sold and the money has been given to Mr Hampson for the repair of his Bentley Bentayga that you bashed last night . " The caller said

I don't think I heard this man correctly. Bella thought to herself. She sat up so that she could concentrate on the conversation.

"How is it even possible that they've sold Dylla under 12 hours, who signed the documents, I thought this man asked me not to pay for damage, how can they just sell off my car for without consulting me? This makes absolutely no sense". She said

Hello? She spoke into the the phone to confirm that the person calling hasn't hang up on her.

"Yes ma'am" he replied.

"Did you just say Hampson? As in Christian the Hampson? The youngest billionaire bachelor in UK?" She asked

"Yes ma'am". the representative replied me.

"You've got to be kidding me. You mean I ran into a billionaires vehicle last night. Great, just great." She said before hanging up.

"Which billionaires vehicle did you run into?" Bella heard her best friend's voice.

"God have really missed this human. " She thought to herself

"Hey Bianca have really missed you, am sorry have not been able to visit you at the hospital, school and work has been really hectic but that's just an excuse, am sorry. " She said standing up to hug her friend.

"It's fine Bell, I totally understand even though am mad at you." Bianca replied.

Bianca was still using crutches because her leg needed time to heal. Bella ushered both of them to sit on the bed.

"How's Austin?" Bella asked

"He's fine." Bianca replied with a smile.

"So tell me Bell which billionaires car did you run into? You've not answered my question." Bianca asked with a serious expression.

"Christian Hampson." Bella answered her.
