Chapter Forty four

Bella woke up to the buzzer of her alarm. She went to take her bath and she couldn't stop thinking about what Chris told her last night and the kiss felt really special to her because she could feel all the emotions he was feeling.

She wore her uniform, did her makeup and styled her hair before leaving her room.

She went down the stairs and headed straight to the kitchen for a bowl of cereal. She took some rice krispies before leaving for work.

Bella got out of the house only for me to see Chris standing by his car. She checked her watch and it was 6:32am

"Chris? What are you doing here?" Bella asked suprised

"What else, picking you up , isn't that obvious?"

"But why would you do that, it's still early, I mean it's just 6:32am and you're already here. Why would you even do that?"

"Isn't that obvious, the reason why am picking you up". He said smiling

"You know what Chris, you should smile more often, your smile is so captivating and I didn't even notice it before that you had dimples." Bella said smiling

"Well I'll take that as a compliment so thank you". He said helping her with her box.

"But Chris you really don't have t..."

"Do you want me to shut you up again?, why are you so stubborn" (she remembered what he did last night and she could feel herself blushing)

She hopped into the passengers sit before he drove off.

"Thanks for letting me take care of you" Chris said with a smile while focusing on the road

"It's a pleasure". Bell replied smiling as well

"So what time is your flight back to London?" Chris asked as he drove into the parking lot

"5pm, if our flight doesn't get delayed." Bella replied

"Alright then, have a wonderful day and safe trip." Chris said pecking me on her cheek so she couldn't help but smile.

"Thank you and you too , do have a wonderful day and thanks for dropping me off." Bella said before heading inside the airport

She was given the opportunity to make the on board announcement to the passengers for the first time after the training.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome onboard Flight 4B7 with service from London to Manchester . We are currently third in line for take-off and are expected to be in the air in approximately seven minutes time. We ask that you please fasten your seatbelts at this time and secure all baggage underneath your seat or in the overhead compartments. We also ask that your seats and table trays are in the upright position for take-off. Please turn off all personal electronic devices, including laptops and cell phones. Smoking is prohibited for the duration of the flight. Thank you for choosing Hampson Airlines . Enjoy your flight."

Bella said with the brightest smile.

The captain made his announcement when the flight was about to take off

"Good morning passengers. This is your captain speaking. First I'd like to welcome everyone on Rightwing Flight 4B7. We are currently cruising at an altitude of 33,000 feet at an airspeed of 400 miles per hour. The time is 7:57 am. The weather looks good and with the tailwind on our side we are expecting to land in Manchester approximately fifteen minutes ahead of schedule. The weather in Manchester is clear and sunny, with a high of 25 degrees for this afternoon. If the weather cooperates we should get a great view of the city as we descend. The cabin crew will be coming around in about twenty minutes time to offer you a light snack and beverage, and the inflight movie will begin shortly after that. I'll talk to you again before we reach our destination. Until then, sit back, relax and enjoy the rest of the flight."

The captain said before she was given the go ahead to make the final announcement before take off.

"Ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of the crew I ask that you please direct your attention to the monitors above as we review the emergency procedures. There are six emergency exits on this aircraft. Take a minute to locate the exit closest to you. Note that the nearest exit may be behind you. Count the number of rows to this exit. Should the cabin experience sudden pressure loss, stay calm and listen for instructions from the cabin crew. Oxygen masks will drop down from above your seat. Place the mask over your mouth and nose, like this. Pull the strap to tighten it. If you are traveling with children, make sure that your own mask is on first before helping your children. In the unlikely event of an emergency landing and evacuation, leave your carry-on items behind. Life rafts are located below your seats and emergency lighting will lead you to your closest exit and slide. We ask that you make sure that all carry-on luggage is stowed away safely during the flight. While we wait for take off, please take a moment to review the safety data card in the seat pocket in front of you." She said before the take off.

"The flight landed in Manchester at exactly 9am and it felt so good to be back here in Manchester." Bella thought to herself. She and the twins were born in Manchester but they had to relocate to London after their Dad left them with nothing but a letter. He had sold every single thing they had before leaving the country with his mistress.

Bella decided to visit the most popular restaurant beside the airport, surprisingly Neil was sat at the far end of the restaurant close to the window. Bella walked up to him to say hi but he offered her the sit in front of him so she obliged.

"I didn't expect to see you in Manchester." Bella said with a smile while taking her sit.

"I had a business meeting around." Neil replied   looking outside the window while Bella did the same. She took her time to take in the beautiful scenery in front of her causing her to smile.

"Beautiful right." Neil said calling Bella's attention while Bella replied with a nod before the waitress walked up to them with the menu.

Bella decided to order fish fingers, chips and beans while Neil ordered fish and chips before the waitress left.

Neil and Bella clicked on a lot of things which really surprised Bella, they were so much alike in so many ways and they had similar interests which made their conversation smooth. Bella couldn't help but laugh out loud anytime Neil said something funny.

They finished their food in a jiffy and Bella decided to rush to see her childhood friend before her flight back to London.

About four hours later, Bella was back in London with the rest of the flight crew. Bella was on her way home when she noticed a car very similar to that of Chris at the airport parking lot. Chris noticed her so he signalled for her to come in which really came as a surprise to Bella.

"Why are you here?" Bella asked as she put her luggage at the back sit before taking the front sit.

"Can't I pick you up?" Chris asked with his lips slightly twitched as he started driving.

"I don't want people to misunderstand our relationship. Everyone wants to know what's up with the richest billionaire bachelor in England." Bella said

"You don't want to be seen with me?" Chris asked raising his eyebrow slightly.

"People are crazy Chris, they'd drag me in the mud if I'm seen with you." Bella said. Chris was about to reply when a call came into Bella's phone.

"Hey B." Bella said to Bianca

"Babe, where are you at?" She asked sounding restless which Bella worried

"On my way home. What's wrong B, are you okay" Bella replied sounding really worried

"Don't go home, I'm sure reporters are at your house." Bianca said which made Bella confused.

"Reporters? Why?" Bella asked making Chris look in her direction with a worried expression.

"You're on the entertainment news with Chris."  Bianca said leaving Bella dumbfounded
