Chapter Five

It was finally the day of Bella's graduation. Her mum was super proud of her , she hugged her really tight and cried.

"Am super proud of you darling. Thanks for making me a proud mother.  Thanks for supporting me financially as well. I can't thank you enough." Bella's mum said

"You don't have to thank me mum. Instead I should thank you for been such an amazing mother. I love you mum" Bella said hugging her mum back. She couldn't help but tear up either because of how happy she was.

Bella attended Uni on scholarship so it really made things easier for her mum. Her brothers Brandon

Jayden and Braxton Kayden just got into medical school. Funny how they both wanted to be medical doctors, Jay has been so particular about been a neurologist while Kay has always wanted to be a plastic surgeon. Their tuition fees had really been affecting Bella's mum because they decided to let them go to school full time. They were not allowed to work part time. Bella had a huge fight with her mum when she told her she wanted to work part time but her mum won't have it. Bella's mum works as a Marketing director at one of the reputable company in the country so she wanted Bella to spend her free time studying instead of working to avoid loosing her scholarship. Even if the twins were to work, their pay can only cater for their allowance so they decided to let them go to school without worrying about work.

The Vice chancellor presented Bella's certificate to her and she was given the opportunity to say a few words been the best graduating student in her faculty which came as a shock to her. She never thought or imagined it that she'd be the best graduating student in her whole faculty. Her face went blank for minutes when they called her to come on stage. She said a few words of thanks to her mum and to everyone who supported her. She could see tears falling from my mum's eyes. In all honesty the amount of tears her mum has shed today is almost enough to fill a bucket. Bella was less bothered  because she knew they are tears of joy.

They had a family dinner at home. Friends and close family members were invited and Bella got to meet her mum's boyfriend for the first time. Mr Joe Anderson. She has heard about him severally from her brothers but she has never had the chance to meet him.

The doorbell rang so Bella went to get the door. There was a delivery man outside with flowers in his hand and a Tiffany and co paper bag. She collected the package and saw her name written on the card. She opened the card with the write up

I'm sure today will be only the first of many proud, successful moments for you. Sending you warm congratulations today and wishing you all the best .

Their was no name on the card so she didn't even know who the gift came  from. Bianca had already snatched the tiffany and co package from Bella's hand to open it. She brought out a Tiffany & Co box and opened it to expose a very beautiful silver necklace with a butterfly pendant. The pendant was made of diamond and coated with silver metal.

The necklace looked really expensive but who could have bought her the necklace. Bella wondered.

The first thing that came to her mind was to bring out my phone to goggle the price of the necklace. It took a while before she found it on Tiffany & Co website. The neck lace was worth 10,000 US dollars on the website. She didn't even know who had gifted her this beautiful piece and before she knew it her best friend was trying to get the necklace on her. She used my phone camera to check out the beautiful piece. Lo and Behold the necklace looked amazing on her.

Bella's mum asked her who the package came in from and Bella told her it had no name on it.

"Maybe it's from her mysterious boyfriend that we don't know about mum." Kay said.

"Or from her unknown sugar daddy." Jay replied.

Bella just rolled my eyes and went upstairs with Bianca. She needed to figure out who got her the present because she had no intention of keeping it. The necklace was too expensive for her to accept and she had plans of returning it to the owner.

"The person should have just been nice enough to give me money, it would have been enough for me to get small car since I miss Dylla a lot. I can't believe I lost him 2 months ago because of that stupid accident." Bella said to Bianca

"Don't think about it too much, am sure the person means well he or she knew you'd react this way, that was why they kept their identity do just accept the gift." Bianca said squeezing Bella's hands.
