Running with the elephant behind, Gary thought, "This will finish her. Who cares if she is from the Scarlet family? If she dies in the test, everyone will think it's an accident."
Then, Gray suddenly changed his direction, but the elephant was not able to change and ran straight toward Ema. Seeing the elephant getting closer, Ema charged towards the beast with her sword.
Noticing Ema charging, the elephant straightened its trunk, which started spinning like a drilling machine, causing it to catch fire. Watching that, Ema also charged her sword more and then ran toward him. Following that, the elephant also increased its speed.
Viewing both attacks collide, a huge explosion was created, covering the whole area with dust and smoke. Soon after the smoke settled down, we saw Ema lying down with her sword broken and her hand injured, and the elephant stood like nothing happened. This pain was too much for Ema, and she was about to faint.
"Well, that's to be expected. No first-timer has ever defeated the beast elephant," David said. "Looks like we need to help her, or she will die," Riya spoke.
The elephant, ready to charge at the fainted Ema, straightened its trunk once again and started swinging at Ema. Then, out of nowhere, Alex lunged at the elephant, and as he did, Riya exclaimed, "Look at his hand; it appears to be entwined with some kind of chain." David quickly corrected her, saying, "No, look closely, it's a serpent engulfed in flames coiled around his hand."
"What type of power is that? Is that magic or some sort of artifact?" Riya said. "I don't think it's a weapon," Nana spoke. "It's also my first time looking at something like this," David spoke excitingly.
Due to Alex's punch, the elephant flew a distance. "Woo, it's my first time seeing an elephant like that," then Alex said, "electric serpent." Then the fire in his hand changed into electricity.
"What is that kid? Looks like he has more than one element in his control," Riya spoke. "And here I thought he had no power," saying that, Nana smiled. Seeing her smile, both David and Riya were shocked. "Who knew something could fascinate you, my cold Nana," saying that, Riya also smiled.
The elephant got up quite angrily, rumbling toward Alex. Alex, ready to charge with his electrical fist, punched the elephant. The elephant received quite a high electric shock and stood frozen.
"Amazing, the first time someone has ever defeated a beast elephant in the test," Riya spoke, stunned. "Yeah, that's quite unbelievable for someone to defeat that beast in a punch," David said.
Seeing the beast defeated by Alex, Gray stood shocked. "How did trash like him defeat a monster like that?" Gray spoke, not realizing he spoke loudly. "So it was you who made that weird elephant charge at her," Alex spoke angrily.
"So what can you do? Do you think I am scared of a freak like you?" Gray shouted. "I heard enough of you. I gave a chance to you, thinking that you might realize your mistake, but a no-good bastard like you deserves no chance," Alex said.
"Do you think you can defeat me? My father will make you pay even if you manage to get out of here alive. What can an orphan trash like you even do? You are garbage, that's what even your parents threw you out," Gray said.
"And what do you even know about my parents? And you dare speak ill about them?" Alex spoke angrily. "Would you look at that; it looks like both of them are about to fight each other. Shouldn't we stop them?" David asked. "No, no. Instructions are not to set foot in the middle of the test unless it's about life and death," Nana said, while looking at Alex. You can see a sparkle in her eye.
