CHAPTER 27 (Giving It a Try)

Dr. Vega leave the mission of searching Gunner to Ibiza. He doesn't have the time anymore to deal with that boy and even so he was sure enough that he will not and will not ever going to escape the building even in his hallucinations. Dr. Ibiza gets his feet to the ground and walk to where his projects. As he walks he smiled thinly for he was sure the as of now Sister Mary and Father Sebastian are there chasing him. And before he can enter the elevator going to his project he remembered Dr. Brace. "Dr. Brace," he muttered and was taken aback when he remembered his last name. "Daemon," he added and took a step back and return as fast as he could into his office. He was not sure if he was just full of thoughts but he thinks that the last name of those twins are also daemon and maybe they are related into him. He must look into his data to make sure. He haven't seen Dr. Brace, family or even in pictures. Dr. Brace was in Arizona for how many years from now because Dr. Vega wants to build an army of monstrous astral like Sister Mary and Father Sebastian. Dr. Vega doesn't know what are the ingredients and data on how to have that kind of perfection because as he test it on Ibiza he was not still satisfied of the outcome. But even so he was proud of himself for making a formula of not copying what his father make. Before he could get into his office he stops in his tracks when there was something off from the air of his surroundings. He was sure that someone had gotten in this path. As he walk near to his door he saw it was locked yet he was suspecting that something was really off. He walks abruptly to his door and grip the doorknob and enter. And there was nothing… Everything in the rooms was organized and even the vials. Not a single thing that was scattered, everything was clear and clean. Dr. Vega groaned and took a sit to where his swivel chair is and massage his temples. Maybe he was just tired and he left then office in madness that he didn't even know the reason why he was acting that way. He was frustrated lately. He decided to take a nap and completely forgets why he was back at his office in no time when his computer signal that he got an email. Dr. Vega opens his eyes and look at the computer away from him he had indeed received an email and wonder whom it came from. He stands from his seat and walk to where the computer is. He was surprised that it came from Dr. Brace. 'Dr. Vega, I have gathered all the ingredients and data for a long time of searching and now I am going back there because the building that your father built will be demolished tomorrow because of the government. I am sorry because I can't even stand what to do in here and what will I am going to do. I have been reaching you out this couple weeks and everyday but the government was stopping me to do so. They have captured me but I manage to get out and now I am heading to your home. Wait for me there and share you the good news.' Dr. Vega cannot help but to smile as he learns that Dr. Brace have with him all the information's that he needed. He was still amazed of his father's ideas and now Dr. Brace is going home. But as Dr. Vega read again the message his hand formed into a fist. The government of Arizona is testing him. And if that is what they are wishing then Dr. Vega would be happy to let it show to them in this day. "What a perfect try out," he said as he thought of a plan. He will bring with him of at least fifty of his astral soldiers to kill everyone inside the government of Arizona. As Dr. Vega stares at the screen where he reads again the message he cannot help himself to laugh like a devil. "Doomsday," he whispered out of thin air as he looks at the ceiling imagining things of what would his soldiers will do to Arizona. "I hope you are proud of me, dad. I have all the power now that you are telling me," he added and a smile was written in his thin lips as he sigh. Dr. Vega reminisce the memories that him and his father had. It was not a fatherly type unlike to the other children's but he had learned a lot and he was blessed of having a father like him that is what he believes. Unlike the other children who are getting a good bond to their father's and mother's, Vega was there sitting alone and facing math problems that his father is giving to him. And he had a mistake or just one mistake his father would give him a word to try again or sometimes his father was upset to him so Vega tried and tried to make his father proud. "There is no room for mistake here, Vega. A one mistake would make all your plans in the future ruined. Don't underestimate that one mistake. Also I want you to become the first even if in the school because being second is not enough. A second is just a second," His father said as they ate their dinner. Vega was quiet and doesn't have the plan of answering his father's beliefs because if he do he knows what is coming next. That day is also Vega's eighteenth birthday and he was hoping of something to celebrate together with his father but he was not surprise anymore if his dad had forgotten again his birthday. Vega looks at his dad still hoping but he had given up hoping and looks at his food and just smiled a little that did not even quite reach his eyes. He almost finish his food when his father says something that surprised him. . "Happy birthday, son," his father said which makes Vega burst into tears. It was his first time to hear his father greeted him a happy birthday and he would treasure it for his whole life.
