Beginning of Cultivation

I stopped with that book. I found it too boring so I wrote another more interesting book.

The Battle Begins

At this moment, Jun Wu Xiao was standing in a corner, observing the enemy's forces, and starting to calculate his method of attack. He wasn't foolish enough to charge alone into the midst of a hundred thousand people for a direct confrontation.

"The enemy's numbers are far greater than I imagined, but as long as I don't directly plunge into their midst, they have no chance of killing me. At most, I'll only get injured. Seeing the direction they're heading, it seems they'll pass through the town. I can take advantage of the terrain here to fight while retreating. Heh, I'll slowly knock them all out." Jun Wu Xiao said.

A light of battle intent flashed in his eyes, as this was the first time he was genuinely fighting, which he found very exciting. At this moment, he simply wanted to fight, hoping this battle would be thrilling.

If he wished, he could instantly switch to a murderous aura, which is the intent to kill the target. The stronger and more determined the intent, the larger the desire to kill the target, the more apparent the murderous aura becomes. But a murderous aura isn't all that powerful; it's mainly used to intimidate the target. If the target isn't afraid, then it's essentially useless.

The enemy was currently entering the town in search of supplies, all while in a state of lowered guard. This couldn't really be blamed on them; after all, there seemed to be no one around, so why be on guard to the point of exhaustion?

Jun Wu Xiao was currently carrying a stick on his shoulder, staring intently at the enemies nearby. As soon as he spotted a few people isolated from the rest, he would go and knock on each of their heads.

After waiting a bit, he saw a group of about a dozen people enter a secluded corner. Feeling that the opportunity had arrived, he began to take action.

He moved stealthily among the houses to gradually approach the enemy. Once close, he used his full speed to rush at them.

He continuously swung his stick, knocking a soldier unconscious with each hit. In just a brief moment, he had knocked five people unconscious.

The remaining few dozen soldiers started to become vigilant. One soldier said:

"What the hell is this? How can it be so fast?"

But before he could do anything, he too was struck on the head with the stick and lost consciousness. The rest of the group fared no better, in less than five seconds, Jun Wu Xiao had knocked all of them unconscious.

Looking at his masterpiece, Jun Wu Xiao said with satisfaction:

"It seems my stick-swinging ability is also incredibly accurate, with no one killed. Even though I've only been practicing for a few days."

Just as he was about to leave, he suddenly stopped, wanting to do something a bit more interesting. After thinking for a moment, he decided to hide those he had knocked unconscious, thinking it would be much more amusing this way.

Only after seeing that the people had been hidden did Jun Wu Xiao leave contentedly to continue searching for more unlucky, ahem, the next enemies.

A short while later, he found another few dozen people. Grinning, with a wooden stick in hand, he moved like a ghost through the streets, leaving the soldiers no chance to counter. Dozens of people were quickly knocked unconscious by him.

"Hehe, this is really fun. So this is what fighting feels like, but it's still not enough. I guess I need to find more people, a few dozen really can't withstand my attack." Jun Wu Xiao said when laughing.

This time, he decided to look for an even larger group. After some searching, he found a place with about two hundred soldiers searching for supplies.

"This looks tough. But it's more fun this way." Jun Wu Xiao remarked.

He concentrated to the utmost, then charged at full speed towards the soldiers. In a few seconds, dozens of soldiers were knocked unconscious by him.

The remaining soldiers also spotted him, and one shouted:

"Everyone be on alert. We're under attack."

Hearing this, the other soldiers drew their swords and got ready to fight. At this moment, Jun Wu Xiao was standing among them. Seeing himself surrounded by over a hundred people, he didn't dare let down his guard.

"Heady!" a soldier yelled.

The rest of the soldiers charged at once. Jun Wu Xiao also began to panic, for the first time since he was born, he was surrounded by so many fervently adoring 'fans', and seeing the burning gazes of the soldiers as if they wanted to devour him alive, he didn't know what to do.

He had no intention of running away, just running from a little over a hundred people, how could he aspire to knock on the heads of a hundred thousand?

Suddenly an idea struck him, and he chuckled:

"Hehe, so all of you want to surround me? But first, you have to be able to see me."

Then he continuously swung his stick onto the ground, the rapid movements stirring up dust and dirt, creating a blinding cloud of dust. Obviously, for ordinary people, this would be effective, but his body had been greatly enhanced, so this wouldn't affect him.

"We're in trouble, fall back! Avoid hitting our own people." someone yelled.

Everyone quickly fell back, but this was exactly what Jun Wu Xiao was waiting for. He immediately charged in one direction, continuously swinging his stick at the enemies' heads.

Since the enemy was in a hurry to retreat, they couldn't react in time to his actions and were easily knocked out. A lot of thumping sounds could be heard without any screams because each time he hit someone, they would instantly lose consciousness.

In a moment, dozens more soldiers fell, and the remaining ones saw the situation was very bad. One soldier yelled out:

"Retreat immediately and warn the others to be careful."

Hearing this, the others hurriedly ran, but this only made them quicker to lose consciousness. As they focused on running, they couldn't see behind them, and Jun Wu Xiao's speed had reached twenty-four meters in a second.

In the blink of an eye, he caught up to those fleeing and continued swinging his stick. Before long, over a hundred people had been knocked unconscious by him.

"Ha ha, indeed, fighting a hundred people is more fun than fighting a dozen. When I get bored of this, I'll try fighting a hundred thousand to see. I might not beat them, but I don't believe I can't run away." Jun Wu Xiao said with utter confidence.

Indeed, easily beating a few hundred people made him believe that no matter how many more there were, they couldn't do anything to him. However, what he didn't realize was that the most terrifying army is not one in disarray but one under good command.

And he wouldn't know, after all, he had never truly been on a battlefield or led an army. A defeat would teach him.

He continued searching for other groups, fighting from morning until it got dark before stopping. Today, he had knocked out thousands of people. By then, he was very tired and decided to go to sleep.

"Ah, I'm so tired. Just knocking out a few thousand people and I'm already this exhausted. How long will it take to knock out that entire army? Do I need to kidnap their general to win? Never mind, if I can't beat them, just capturing the general will do." Jun Wu Xiao said while yawning.

After speaking, he found a safe place to rest. Meanwhile, the soldiers he had knocked out slowly began to wake up.
