Double-Headed Fire Snake

Following the mercenary for more than ten minutes to the northwest, Lu Yunxiao and the others finally reached their destination.

They found a group of people gathered around a somewhat sunken area in the sand.

"Move aside, move aside," the mercenary leading the way called out. Xiao Ding and the others squeezed through the crowd.

"Thank you for your concern, but there's no need. I can handle it myself. I would appreciate it if the two of you could guard the entrance to prevent unauthorized individuals from entering," Lu Yunxiao declined their offer.

"All right, then. Please take care," Xiao Ding said with genuine concern.

"I will," Lu Yunxiao responded before signaling to Hai Bodong.

Hai Bodong understood the signal, and they both descended into the passage.

"Be careful, my son!" Qing Lin called out with worry.

"Don't worry!" Lu Yunxiao reassured her as they disappeared into the passage.

The passage was winding, and they descended rapidly. After some time, they reached the bottom of the first passage with a thud. It was more than ten meters deep, and they landed with a muffled sound.

In front of them lay a vast underground chamber, with slow-flowing rivers of fiery red lava. Occasionally, large bubbles surfaced from the magma, then burst with a loud bang, sending hot magma splattering like red fireworks.

"No wonder they couldn't get out. The passage abruptly gave way, dropping them from such a height. It's beyond the reach of an ordinary fighter," Lu Yunxiao remarked.

"Old man, send them out first. The temperature here is extremely high, and they won't be able to handle it if they remain unconscious for too long. They've been helping us, and it would be a shame if they lost their lives here," Lu Yunxiao instructed Hai Bodong.

The magma erupted, and a fiery column shot up, accompanied by a resounding roar. A massive creature with a forked tongue emerged from the magma, glaring menacingly at Lu Yunxiao.

This creature had two heads and was none other than the double-headed fire snake that Lu Yunxiao sought to confront.
