Chapter 22 Phoenix Academy

The Mana measures the Mana level which also includes the Aura as it is also Mana, so we can't tell if a person is a mage or Aura user. That's why the Hunter in a Mana meter room explains things as a mage that only makes him mage and thats why I asked if he is a mage but the question is what will be my Mana level if I create my Aura core will it be the sum of both or is there are some difference regarding measuring Aura.

I wondered.

We came back to the waiting room but the atmosphere of the room change to the opposite.

Phil, who had a smile and sweet towards me are now cold and the triplets who were uninterested to me are now looking with curiosity.

I looked at the triplets and saw their eyes are shining and their total focus are towards me.

'maybe that's not curiosity but admiration?"

I thought and asked to the triplets.

"Is there something you want?"

"N-no, it's just...we are curious about you."

One of them replied.

"What are you so curious about?"

I asked.

"It's just... About your ability and such but we are not asking you to answer that." She said desperately.

The rest of the time spent as they asked small questions about my background to get clues about my high Mana level but never asked questions that risked revealing my ability which makes me think that they are nice but it is to soon say that and kept my guard up against them. As for the Phil, he speaks non-stop like before but he showed some irritation towards me which makes me think like he knows something about me.

'Does Tina said something about me to him?

But it's like not her to tell him about me unlike she had intimate night with her which is impossible as she is into girls then...wait'

I thought, suddenly I remembered something

"Your sister, Phil. How old is she?"

"Hmm..why do you ask?" He asked instead.

"...." I paused as to think what answer I should give him.

"It's just if you became the hunter then it's your sister who inherit the company and I got curious." I lied.

"Hmm, she is in a college and three year older than me."he replied with a precaution.

'it seems like she fucked Tina.'

I thought as I clenched my fist with little anger.

"We are ready for you, please come this way."

That woman came and directed us to the chamber at the centre.

"You may experience some nausea and a little headache which is normal specially if this is your first time. Other than that, there won't be any problem and the whole process will take a minute or two." She explain as we enter into a small room.

In the chamber there are small rooms created at the door that leads to the waiting room. Inside this room, a magic circle is drawn on the floor which is at two steps above the ground.

She instructed us to stand inside the circle and just like she said a minute ago, I saw my surroundings moving in a blurr as if I am on the rollercoaster ride but moving at many times faster.

I understand why people feel nauseous and have headache.

And after a minute it stops and the door open into a complete different area.

I looked at the others and saw Phil vomiting and triplets have blue color on their face as if they are sick which makes me wonder why I feel fine and the only reason I find reasonable is my mentality which increased during my Mana heart creation.

A hunter who appears to be a priest come and use his holy magic to heal them. After that he guide us to the entrance.

"Form a line and take out your identification card." A man in a uniform said who is accompanied by one more.

"Ah, Valencia, Venessa and Viviane McClain you are allotted Southdorm of the Phoenix Academy." He said after he scans their cards.

"Southdorm?" One of the triplets asked.

"Hmm, they are four part of the Academy, North, East, West and South. South are for the freshmen and comes from the normal enrollment, East are for the senior who are not doing well and the West for those are doing well and it's depends on the result you bring in your first exam that you give in two months after your entrance exam and as for the North..well it is for the VIPs like rich kids." He explained.

"Yeah, like this guy." Said the second guy while pointing at Phil.

"Alright, next." The first one said after he done with Phil. I step forward and hand over my ID card to him.

"Hmm, you didn't register. It will take some time with the registration, so why don't you wait a little." He said after he scans my ID card and gesture me towards the waiting room.

"What.. but my teacher said that she will take care of that." I said.

"Your teacher..who?"

"Shasha Thorne." The guards give me a disbelief look while the triplets and Phil has their jaws on the floor which is understandable since it is not easy for someone who just Awakened to be a student of A-ranked Hunter, there is also another reason which I didn't know that Shasha is quite famous for a A-rank hunter specially in the Academy.

"Yes, but your name is not on the list." Said the guard still has disbelief written on his face.

I quite understand about what's happening, that she forgets my name or give them some other name.

'why the fuck she asked for my name if she is going to be like this?'

"Can I make a call then?" I asked because there was a sign inside the teleport station which telling us not to use cellphone.

During teleportion, they send mana wave to the targeted area and if there are another wave like electromagnetic waves present then, they may disturbed the spell that's why they advised to not use the cellphones.

"Yeah, sure why not?" Guard said and I took out my cellphone from my pants and call shasha.

[ Hey, Jullian what's up? ]

"You got to be fucking kidding me." I cursed at her as soon as I listen her voice calling me that.

The others looked at me with surprised as they don't think I am her student now, as no one will spoke to her like that if they knew who she is which I don't... Yet. Or maybe they don't believe it's Shasha I am talking to.

[ What, what's wrong? ]

"Jullie, my name is Jullie." It's embarrassing that your teacher don't know your name, so I repeat twice so that it engrave into her mind.

[ Oookay, so why did you call me? ]

"I just want to you to know what my name is."

[ Hmm, that's it.]

" Yes" I said, I actually don't know what to tell her.

[ Alright, Jullie.]

"Good, bye" I cut off the call and face towards the guard.

"Search for Jullian instead, she didn't get my name right."

"Umm, there is a entry with that name and it is also mentioned as the student of Shasha thorne but I still don't know that you are that person." He asked with caution.

"Surely, you don't want me to call her again now, do you?" I declared.

"No, but I need to asked my superior." After that he went in the corner to make a call.

"Sister, is it true that you are Shasha thorne's Student?"asked the triplet with their eyes shining brighter than the sun. I nodded and they have again that look when they have while talking with famous hunter.

"Mam, please wait a moment someone will come to pick you up and please use this to excess the academy facilities." The guard said as he hand me a platinum badge which has a phoenix print in it.

The eyes of triplets widen at the sight of the badge.

' "mam" that's sudden change didn't suit me'
