The Next Day.

"Good morning, sleepy head," said Darrell to Alyssa who just woke up.

Darrell was dusting his boots and getting ready.

Alyssa gives up a yawn and stretches up her hands weakly then said:

"Good morning, gosh! I can't believe it's morning already," then she stands up and walks to a nearby Creek.

"Yes, you sure do know how to sleep," Darrell said as he puts on his black boots.

"Ok am off," Darrell said to Alyssa who was washing her face with a hand full of water from the creek.

"Where are you going to?" Alyssa asked with a soft low tone.

"What's your name?" Alyssa asked

"Darrell," Darrell replied.

"Darrell, I also have a place I need to be, I am searching for something really important," Alyssa said walking close to Darrell.

"Oh really?" Darrell asked. without much concern, glancing at the enchanted map.

"Yes, I don't really know how to get there, or wait maybe I could find a way from your map," Alyssa said and gets to where Darrell was and swiftly took the map away from Darrell's hand and starts glancing at the map.

"Your map is so complicated I don't understand a thing and what's this red dot that keeps on moving," Alyssa said pointing at the dot on the map.

"Give it back, I am the only one that understands it," Darrell said and took back the map from Alyssa.

"Anyways where did you say you are going to," Darrell adds and looked at Alyssa.

"Hmm, I want to find out who my real parents are and I'm going to find out through the mirror of sequence," Alyssa replied.

"Mirror of sequence, hmm, what's that?" Darrell asked.

"It's a magical mirror that could tell you whatever you want," Alyssa replied.

"Where will you find it," Darrell asked curiously.

"In a secret cave, and it's actually the same direction with where you are going to," Alyssa lied with the thought that she would be able to spend more time with Darrell. She doesn't know where the mirror of sequence was located.

"Hmm okay, but do you know where am going to?" Darrell asked.

"Hey, Berk! You brought berries," Alyssa said trying to avoid Darrell's question. "Hmm, my favorites, this really tastes good, thanks Berk," Alyssa said as eats the blueberries.

"No problem Alyssa am glad you like it," Berk replied.

Darrell just stood, looking at the both of them, and shook his head.

"Well then you will have to catch up with me," Darrell said and starts walking away.

"Hey! Wait for me," Alyssa said and followed Darrell behind, Berk also followed leaving the wolf behind.

They both kept on walking without stopping, Darrell has the map in his hand and each time they got to a junction of two paths, Darrell would look at his map and the red dot would blink at a particular side of the map.

Darrell would lift his hand and point to a direction and say "this way," Alyssa would just follow behind, Alyssa carried Berk on her shoulder.

They walked past thick bushes, tall trees and they even jumped over Rocks, they soon came to a bridge, Darrell just stood in front of the bridge.

The bridge was thin, and really high above a huge waterfall, the bridge was made with ropes and tiny woods.

"Why did you stop," Alyssa asked Darrell.

"I think something is wrong with the map," Darrell said looking at the bridge.

"What do you mean?" Alyssa asked then she kept Berk on the floor.

"I think we should use another path," Darrell said and turned around, Alyssa and Berk just stood looking at Darrell confused.

"Why should we use another path, what's wrong with this one?" Alyssa asked walking closer to Darrell.

"Well because I said so, so you do not have to question my suggestions," Darrell said looking directly at Alyssa's eyes, his face looked so serious.

"Oh really?" Alyssa asked with her head slightly lifted and her eyes looking sternly at Darrell's eyes.

"Yes, remember I am the leader in this journey so you do exactly as I say," Darrell said and turned.

Alyssa inhaled deeply and skillfully takes the map from Darrell and starts running away with it.

"Hey! Give it back," Darrell said and starts chasing after Alyssa.

"Come get it then," Alyssa said laughing, then she got to a hidden spot and opened the map and discover that the red dot was blinking on the drawing of a bridge.

"Hmm, this bridge wasn't on this map before, how come it's here now?" She asked herself in thoughts.

Darrell soon found her and walked to where she was, he was panting rapidly.

"Give...it..it to me," Darrell said facing Alyssa with his hand open. Alyssa gives him back the map.

"I think the map wants us to use the bridge," Alyssa said with a serious face, she had her arms folded.

"You can't be too sure about that, remember I told you I am the only one that understands the map so you have got to listen to me," Darrell said and turns around and starts walking towards another path.

"You have to stop what you are doing okay the map wants us to use a bridge we have to obey the map," Alyssa said angrily as she walks behind Darrell hastily.

"What part do you not understand, I talk, you follow," Darrell said still walking.

"You know we have to follow the map so stop all this you are doing and let's not waste more time, I mean you said it yourself it's the right thing to do and we have to do..." Alyssa said still following Darrell behind briskly she was really getting angry at Darrell.

"And you must listen," Darrell said cutting Alyssa short and then he turned and faced her.

"No I will not," Alyssa said angrily facing Darrell face to face with their eyes both fixed at each other, they both looked really angry, Berk just watched the both of them from behind wondering how their little drama would end.

Darrell inhales deeply and broke the silence. "Okay, fine, I have a confession to make,"

Alyssa and Berk both looked at Darrell surprised.
