"My empress, we have lost track of the boy," one of the Firebirds said as they flew into Norma Elspeth's lair.

"What do you mean by that?" Norma Elspeth asked angrily.

Norma Elspeth was clad in a sleeveless dark blue robe that was slightly above her knees from the front view and was touching the ceramic tiled floor from the back view. Her face was masked with wild makeup like usual. She was also wearing her gold bracelet on her upper right arm.

Fear crept into the hearts of the Firebirds as they all bowed down not wanting to show their faces.

"We tried our best, but it seems the boy is no longer here in Monaserus," Another firebird spoke up still with his face hidden from Norma Elspeth.

"Hmm!" Norma Elspeth sighed in thoughts. "What do you think I should do slider," Norma Elspeth asked the Asp that laid above her shoulders.

"Well, my empress I think you should search for the boy yourself since these crackheads can't do anything right," the Asp hissed sticking his tongue out.

"Yes! That is exactly what I'm going to do, and for you weaklings," Norma Elspeth said and she turned to the Firebirds.

"I am going to teach you a lesson,"

Norma Elspeth adds and walks towards the Firebirds then she moved her right hand upwards and one of the Firebirds started moving upward according to the movement of Norma Elspeth's hand. (Magic).

"Please, my empress, do not kill me give me another chance, I promise, I will find the boy," the Firebird pleads as Norma Elspeth rotated her hand, the firebird's neck also rotated and he died instantly.

"This should serve as a warning to all of you, now go and bring me that boy," Norma Elspeth said angrily her eyes were visibly turning red, and like a flash, the rest of the Firebirds flew away swiftly.

"Hahaha," Norma Elspeth laughed wickedly with her signature smirk on her face.

Darrell and Alyssa are still in the woods, they are both seated on a hill. They both laid with their back on the ground looking up at the sky.

"Hmm," Darrell sighed.

"Two different worlds, yet they share the same moon," Darrell adds with his eyes still fixed at the moon.

"What do you mean?" Alyssa asked with no facial expression.

"I grew up somewhere else from Monaserus and the moon looked exactly like this one," Darrell replied.

"You mean there is another world apart from Monaserus, wow!" Alyssa said and sat up a little.

"Yes, there is," Darrell replied.

"I will really like to go there someday," Alyssa said and Darrell sat up a bit and their eyes both met.

"I could take you there someday," Darrell said more like a whisper and held Alyssa's hand. They still have their eyes hooked together and like a magnetic fluid their lips starts coming closer, the rate of their heartbeat increase with pace, as their eyes closed, their lips almost touched each other when suddenly berk made a loud cry from where he was and this broke the chemistry between Alyssa and Darrell.

Alyssa hurriedly removed her hand from Darrell's hand and went to see what was wrong with Berk, Darrell groaned angrily and followed Alyssa behind.

"Berk! What is wrong with you?" Alyssa asked Berk worriedly.

Berk just stood where he was whimpering and pointing one of his fingers in a particular direction.

"It's the wolf," Berk replied.

"what's wrong with the wolf?" Alyssa asked.

Darrell just stood where he was looking at Alyssa and Berk wondering what they were both saying cause he can't understand Berk.

"He just killed a deer and he is eating it, and it's so horrifying," Berk replied covering his eyes with his hands.

"Alyssa what did he say it's wrong with him?" Darrell asked curiously.

"Nothing really he just said the wolf caught a deer, and he is..." Alyssa replied before Darrell cuts her short.

"What! A deer, well that means dinner," Darrell cuts in quickly.

"Dinner?" Alyssa and the rabbit asked Darrell at the same time.

"Yes, dinner, and I know just what to do," Darrell said and leaves the scene.

Darrell went deep into the woods and fetched some woods and soon returns to where Alyssa was, then hehe arranged the woods and sets a fire, then he moves to the body of the dead deer, picks it up, takes it to the fire, and starts roasting it.

"Gosh, Alyssa this boy is really strange," Berk said to Alyssa who was just starting at Darrell with dreamy eyes and she softly replied "yes he is" more like a whisper.

Darrell keeps on roasting the deer until it turned to meat, he brings it down from the fire and cut it into tiny pieces with his sword for easy consumption.

"Dinner is served," Darrell said with a satisfied smirk.

"Here help yourself," Darrell said to Alyssa who was still staring at Darrell awkwardly.

"Oh ermm, thank you but I don't eat meat, am a vegetarian," Alyssa replied jerking out of her thoughts.

"Really? You are a vegetarian?, And you are in the woods" Darrell asked surprised.

"Hmmm you might not make it for too long," Darrell said and he munched on another piece of meat.

"Yes," Alyssa said weakly as her eyes got heavy.

"Hmm, this really tastes good you know trust me you are missing a lot," Darrell said sucking on his fingers still with the meat on his hand.

"Go ahead and enjoy yourself okay but am good," Alyssa said and yawns weakly stretches her hands, and laid down on the cold grass.

"Good night," Alyssa said as she closes her eyes.

"Yea good night," Darrell said.

The wolf came to the scene and gently laid down beside Alyssa.

"You are really good for something after all," Darrell said with a chuckle and taps the wolf on his head.

The wolf shrugged off Darrell's hand and groaned deeply, Darrell hurriedly stopped patting the wolf out of fear and continued chewing his dinner.
